Will be missed, figured he deserved his own post.

Played a great game, and afterwards he was blubbering like a baby and was talking like it was the end of the world.

Im sure a formal announcement will come shortly.

Ill post it here unless someone beats me to it.

Feel free to chime in.

Class act and one of the greatest QB's of all time  :( :D - I can say that I am happy he is retiring.

22-8 lifetime vs. the Bears. :bag:

In addition to not spelling his name correctly, the title "Official Brett Farve Retirement Post" seems premature.

Ok....how about, in 1991, Mike Tomczak was QB for the packers....He threw a 5 yard pass to himself. Easily one of the most magnificent feats in the history of Packer football.

I don't think this can be the OFFICIAL Favre retirement thread since he hasn't actually announced his retirement. You thought he deserved his own thread, but after this many years I think he deserves to have his name spelled correctly. :hey: It did seem like this might be it based on his emotional response. But let's give him the time he needs to make the official announcement. He said he would probably make an announcement in two weeks. Hopefully the press can manage to leave him alone for a couple weeks. If it was his last game...he will be greatly missed. He made the game very exciting for everyone, but especially for Packers fans. He definitely still has the skills to play, but I wouldn't blame him if he got out now since he managed another year(behind a rookie line) without any major injuries. On a selfish note, I would love to see what kind of season they could put together with him next year. Good Luck and GB Brett Favre...whatever decision you make. :banned:

Thats Farve to me buddy. God love him.

Anyone know if Favre has expressed any interest in coaching later on, or is he riding his tractor off to the farm for good? Seems like it'd be hard for a guy like him to walk away from the game for good.

I think he's still got the arm strength to continue. Not like the last days of Dan Marino.
I don't think anyone anywhere has ever said his arm strength is in question.
So what.
So I dunno. :banned: So why'd you bring it up? :)
Cuz I'd like to see him stick around.
Yeah me too. This is weird, Sofa and Couch talking here...
C'mon, no it's not.
