Just watched the Inspector SpaceTime convention episode. Not very good, but,

1. It was very nice to see brita in her underwear and

2. Jeff ripping open his shirt and saying "Bow to Thoraxis!" and they all bow :lmao: :lmao:

I appreciate that they seem to still put in a full effort, but the show just isn't funny anymore. Still better than most of the crap on teevee, but I'm ready for the ride to be over.

I liked the "where's Pierce" non sequitur in the xmas episode. Actually, I liked the entire xmas episode, it seemed like it was filmed in an odd way though.

Yep. It went from must see to difficult to watch, the show was obviously Dan Harmon's baby and I'm surprised that it's still in the NBC rotation.

I thought it was the best episode of the season by far and came the closest to what the show used to be.

I liked "Intro to Felt Surrogacy" quite a bit. It's different but I don't feel like the ratio of good episodes to bad episodes has changed. I'm still enjoying it.

What was the deal with that last one? The camera work felt like a dream sequence or something...like the single camera was floating. It threw me off at various times when I don't normally notice the camera work.

Kinda like they were doing it from the perspective of a fly's point of view...from conversation to conversation as it fly around the room.

Yeah, that is what I was talking about in my last post.

I thought it was a one-camera thing at first, but some of the cuts made me think that wasn't the case. I'm not sure what was going on there... was it a Die Hard tribute of some sort??

I do wonder if they would've done more with the dark timeline if they knew they would be coming back. They had so many other elements they passed on. Starburn's (yay!he's alive) one armed lawyer (Jeff being a lawyer and only having 1 arm in the dark timeline) the strange appearance of Vice Dean John Goodman with goatee and ponytail.
Glad to see the dark timeline make another appearance. I rally thought last year's finale would've been an epic paintball battle between the 2 timelines had they known they were going to be renewed. So they did it this year, but really whiffed on it imo.

I lol'd quite a bit last night. I'd be ok if that was The End but would still be happy to have them back if they manage to steady the rudder.

Don't want this to become another Office, sticking around way past its time.

I thought the finale was pretty decent. The entire season missed Harmon badly which is understandable but it's not like anyone was mailing it in. I'm fine with the series ending now.

But if it does come back more Annie in the red dress please.

Was there really a falling out with Chevy Chase, or was that theatrics for some reason?

he left the show half way though filming this season... I was fond of the way it was referenced on the show.

I knew that, just wondering if the split was as portrayed or if they staged the falling out.

Everyone in the industry pretty much agrees that Chevy Chase is a ####, so I have to assume it was real.

P.S. I don't care what they say, Chevy Chase rules.

Chevy is a major league ##### by all accounts but I can't fault him for being upset this season. He was given hardly anything to do.

I see why they didn't have the Dean didn't turn around when Evil Jeff came through like the Terminator...He would have had a massive heart attack but died with a smile on his face

That finale was a disjointed mess that just seemed like the writers binge watched Seasons 1-3 over a weekend and tried to throw as many references in as possible

Annie in the dress was awesome though

Allison Brie told Marc Maron that:

This is post-college, but I know that naked photos exist of me from like this trip with friends to Lake Tahoe…it was snowing, and again just more for humor… would like take off all my clothes and go run outside and be like a little wood nymph and then like get on a weird exercise machine…I feel like if those photos got out there, I would have to then release other nude photos to be like, “No, wait…see, no, actually when I’m trying to look good naked, I could.
Internet, do your thing

This sounds like a job for Raider Nation. We need some sort of bat signal.

Dan Harmon getting a new show on Adult Swim Yes!

Although the best part of that link might be the caption about another new show entitled "Mike Tyson Mysteries" (involving Mike Tyson solving mysteries with a talking pigeon).
I'm looking forward to this vehicle for a fellow FBG:

Mr. Pickles – In Mr. Pickles, the urban sprawl of modern society pollutes the old-fashioned town where the Goodman family lives with their lovable pet dog, Mr. Pickles, a deviant border collie with a secret satanic streak. From creators Will Carsola and Dave Stewart (Funny Or Die Presents Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time). Animated quarter-hour.

Writer Chris McKenna ("Remedial Chaos Theory") may also come back.

I have hope. It'd be nice to see what was such a good show find its form again and go out on a high note.

Why would Harmon go back to NBC at this point? NBC is a 4th rate network and Harmon is working on another show, I see little motivation (on his part) to come back.
