On his plans to deport the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States, Trump said that he "would not call it mass deportation" and later tweeted that he did not like that terminology. He did not, however, clarify if deportations were still a central theme of his plan - though this was very clearly established point during the primaries.

Regarding polls he's behind in pretty much every battle state, pretty significantly in some. Can't believe it is even this close but odds are looking pretty long for him. 

Something could certainly occur that helps him gain momentum but he's crapped the bed now multiple times over the past month or so hopefully people have seen enough off his really awful act.

The republican senate is endangering the country with what they are doing and the American public seems to be okay with it. Sickening. I really hope the Dems pound this into the voting public during the debates and the campaign. How pitiful are the current republicans to do this to the people they have been sworn to represent/protect? I hope the party goes down in flames, not because of Drumph, but because they are setting highly dangerous precedent and they have only themselves to blame. Merrick Garland is not a wild eyed liberal. He is center maybe left. He is a justice the MAJORITY of the country can live with. 

And it doesn't matter where Garland or any other nominee falls on the political spectrum. And it is wrong for the Republicans to hold the Supreme Court hostage. It is the job of the President to nominate a Supreme Court Justice. It is the job of the Senate to confirm/deny said nominee. Not to throw a hissy fit because one of their champions (Scalia) might get replaced by somebody who is not of the same political mind.

Mitch McConnell set a dangerous precedent by not even holding hearings. It is wrong and you know it
