How does picking on this kid fall into the be excellent to each other decree?  Step back and look at the posts.  You guys are schoolyard bully thought police. He likes Trump, so do millions of others. Almost as many think people are stupid for supporting Hillary, they just seem to have more tact on this board.
If he does not want to be mocked as racist or ignorant...he should stop saying racist or ignorant things on here.  Its pretty simple.

And don't try and label others a racist with some illogical crap as he did to me.

More tact?  Yeah...the Trump guys never call names in here or in the Hillary thread or back in the Bernie thread.  You really should again stop this playing the victim crap...it doesn't work well when people know what has actually happened on this board.

The idea that anyone thinks that everyone who votes for Trump does so because they are a bigot is also laughable, but I don't see you challenging those statements.
I'm sure we all agree that its not EVERYONE who votes for Trump.  Some will just because he has an 'R' after his name.  I would guess that a majority of Trump supporters are racist, however, but that's just my personal experiences with neighbors and acquaintances that support him.

Voting for Trump? What's that?

I didn't say anything about people voting for Trump because they are bigots, and it's not my job to police the thread.

I was marveling at the perceived ability for one person to get in the mind of 350 million people and state as fact there aren't that many bigots in the US.  Comparing that to someone saying that bigots are more likely to vote for Trump isn't even the same ballpark.  We have a lot of evidence that bigots are big fans of the DOnald.  I'm pretty sure there isn't a shred of evidence to support your statement.

I'm sure I am making too much of this.  But anytime I am confronted with true ignorance, it shocks me.  Carry on.

Don't cry.   It's just my observation

After spending more time in the politics section of the fitness board, I'm seeing that The Donald fits perfectly into the dolts who subscribe religiously to alpha/beta male labels.  This would explain why he can disparage women, make fun of the disabled, cozy up to Putin (whom they see as alpha) with not only no recourse, but additional enthusiasm from these yahoos.

The funny thing is, these "alphas" will then go on to make fun of the college educated and silicon valley types.  Yes these people are the ones who invent the toys the alphas (and to be fair all of us) so enjoy like smartphones, giant tv's, and video games.

AT Least 1/3rd of this country seems to fall into this category.  Basically the South and rural elsewhere.  It is frightening.
It is frightening that James Daulton wants to keep spreading lies about Trump because he himself is dishonest. Recent pages have been about how Trump didn't really make fun of a guy for being disabled and here James is still using the "make fun of the disabled" line. http://www.catholics4trump.com/even-more-video-evidence-trump-did-not-mock-reporters-disability/

If Trump thinks women have little worth then why was he one of the first to give ladies major positions within his company that was unheard of at the time?

Cozy up to Putin? You mean instead of trying to start WW3 with a country that has nukes he is trying to form a nice relationship? HOW COULD HE!

Your entire post is hilarious.

I remember the good ol' days with this thread was about making fun of Trump, how far behind he was in the polls, and how bad he was going to lose this fall.

What happened?

From the Dallas News article linked above:

There is only one serious candidate on the presidential ballot in November. We recommend Hillary Clinton.

We don't come to this decision easily. This newspaper has not recommended a Democrat for the nation's highest office since before World War II — if you're counting, that's more than 75 years and nearly 20 elections. The party's over-reliance on government and regulation to remedy the country's ills is at odds with our belief in private-sector ingenuity and innovation. Our values are more about individual liberty, free markets and a strong national defense.

We've been critical of Clinton's handling of certain issues in the past. But unlike Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has experience in actual governance, a record of service and a willingness to delve into real policy.

Resume vs. resume, judgment vs. judgment, this election is no contest.
  Typical liberal rag.

They don't like bullies or name calling.  On a message board at least.  They expect more of anonymous people than they do the guy they want to be president of the United States.
Hire people to do a job then pay them a fraction of what is owed (if anything at all)  knowing they can't possibly afford to fight it in court?  That's ok.  No bullying there!

Call someone a name on an internet message board?  Stop being a bully!

It was always going to tighten up.

Donald still says odd things every day to make fun of. His huge crush on boyfriend Putin, that he's a body language reading expert, renewed Obama Birther talk, that we should just "keep the oil", and his double secret ISIS plans are my current favorites.

Cozy up to Putin? You mean instead of trying to start WW3 with a country that has nukes he is trying to form a nice relationship? HOW COULD HE!
Just imagine if it was Hillary cozying up to Putin. The right wing would be calling for her public hanging right about now.

But since it's Trump, it's perfectly fine to cozy up to our enemy and possibly take his money in order to get elected. I mean, what could go wrong?

Cognitive dissonance. Gotta love it.

One of the more fascinating parts of this election season is learning just how far people will go to confirm their partisan bias.  There appears to be absolutely no limit.  There is not one Trump supporter breathing air right now in the United States that wouldn't DESTROY Hillary if she praised Putin's leadership the way Trump did.

Have we done this one yet?

Trump charity gave $100,000 to David Bossie’s Citizens United that helped fund lawsuit against mogul’s foe

Excerpts:

Donald Trump’s charitable foundation gave $100,000 in 2014 to a conservative activist group that was used to help finance a federal lawsuit against New York state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman — the same public official who was suing the real estate mogul for fraud over the operations of Trump University.

The size and timing of the donation to the Citizens United Foundation, an arm of the sprawling conservative network run by David Bossie, who is now Trump’s deputy campaign manager, could raise fresh questions about whether Trump has used his tax-exempt charity to further political and personal causes.

...

A review of tax returns filed by the Trump Foundation shows that the 2014 donation to Bossie’s Citizens United Foundation was by far the largest it gave to any organization that year, substantially exceeding its contributions to more traditional charities, such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (which got $50,000), the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute ($25,000) and the Police Athletic League ($25,000).

...

While the donation to Bossie’s group has been mentioned in some media accounts, what has gone unnoticed until now is a major project of Citizens United at the time: a lawsuit it filed that year — since dismissed by a federal judge — against Schneiderman, New York’s Democratic attorney general, over his efforts to require nonprofit groups such as Citizens United to disclose the identity of their donors under seal to the New York State Charities Bureau.

Schneiderman by then had become a major political nemesis of Trump. In 2013, Schneiderman had filed his own lawsuit, still pending in New York state courts, accusing Trump of ripping off students at Trump University through fraudulent and deceptive trade practices, promising to teach them to “make a killing” in the real estate market but, according to the suit, delivering courses that had little if any value.

Trump, in response, launched a public relations and legal counterattack against Schneiderman. He accused him in a Twitter barrage of being a “lightweight hack” who brought the suit for political purposes. He filed a complaint against Schneiderman with the New York ethics agency (since dismissed) over donations the attorney general had solicited from his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, while his office was investigating Trump University. Trump, in a later interview, described Schneiderman as “a low-life, a sleazebag” who was part of a “cesspool of corruption” in New York politics.

...

Late last month, U.S. Judge Sidney H. Stein in New York dismissed the Citizens United lawsuit, concluding that its complaint “states not a single plausible claim upon which relief can be granted.” Boos of Citizen United said the organization is now considering whether to appeal.
Given the attention paid to the Clinton Foundation non-story, the press should be getting their ducks in a row to absolutely murder Trump on this and the Bondi donation.

Oh and BTW, Sanders/reform voters: that is the same Citizens United behind the controversial Supreme Court decision.

There's a lot of sleaze and corruption there, but I think my favorite little tidbit is that he filed an ethics suit against the NY AG for soliciting donations from his daughter and son in law during the Trump U investigations, meanwhile the Florida AG not only solicited donations from Trump himself at the same time, but Trump actually gave her money in response to that solicitation and is now defending those donations. You gotta have some kinda cojones to make those two hilariously contradictory claims.

Okay, enough, I've got to call you on this.

First off, you claim, "Recent pages have been about how Trump didn't really make fun of a guy for being disabled and here James is still using the "make fun of the disabled" line. http://www.catholics4trump.com/even-more-video-evidence-trump-did-not-mock-reporters-disability/" There has been no discussion or consensus or even grudging acceptance by anyone else here. Its just you.

Those recent pages you refer to consist solely of you trying to gloss over and justify this abhorrent behavior. TO do so, you post some fringe website. Even if we believe that website, it does nothing to subvert the idea that Trump cruelly and heartlessly makes fun of the disabled.

If there would several instances of Trump ridiculing white people by doing a racist impersonation of a black man, that would still be racist, even if directed to a white man. Same with the mentally/physically disabled. If you impersonate one to tease a person who is not disabled, it does not mean you are not ridiculing all disabled people when you do it.

Your claim to the contrary is weak, intellectually dishonest and fraudulent. Just like your candidate.

This is absolutely nuts. The charity needs to be shut down after the election is over. This is truly a slush fund. There's no distinction between the entity and Trump.
That in itself doesn't bother me that much. Charities can donate to political causes and activists if they want- for example if this money went to Planned Parenthood or Code Pink I wouldn't really care. I think the real problem here is that he was clearly funding a baseless lawsuit through a non-profit as a tool for harassing a political foe. That's some ugly stuff. The fact that he chose to fund Citizens United is also troubling given who they are and what they've done, but that's really more political than ethical.

The donation to Bondi's campaign, OTOH- that one was illegal (which is why he was forced to refund the money to his Foundation from his personal funds and pay a fine) and he should be getting crushed for that too ... even before we get to the fact that it sure looks like he made the donation as a bribe for her to bury the Trump U case.

After the Clinton Foundation stuff went big time for a week and turned out to be much ado about nothing, I think the press has no choice but to bury him on these two stories over the next week or so. Some people will have a lot of explaining to do if they don't.

Hadn't read this one yet but covered indirectly by the donations his "foundation" made to Bondi.

i'm guessing this won't be mentioned by people who have been pooping their pants about Clinton Foundation.

In fact, the Trump Foundation donated $100,000 to the William J. Clinton Foundation in 2009. The following year, Trump's charity gave an additional $10,000.
Well, if we're going to do this, let's do this.

One Trump Foundation beneficiary, while not a partisan group in the traditional sense, is notoriously polarizing. In 2010, the Trump Foundation gave $10,000 to Jenny McCarthy's Generation Rescue, which promulgates the myth that vaccinating children puts them at risk of developing autism. Trump has repeatedly espoused "anti-vaxxer" views in his public remarks.

Sooo. 75K to help stop disease... annnnd 10K to help create it. Seems right.

Bossie's a real class act. Yet another example of Trump only hiring the best people. From his wikipedia page:

In 1997, he hired Mr. Bossie as chief investigator to look into a possible campaign finance abuses by U.S. President Bill Clinton. By May 1998, Burton came under intense partisan pressure; even fellow Republicans complained that committee staff had published redacted tapes and transcripts of former United States Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell's prison telephone calls omitting some exculpatory passages. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich pressed Burton to seek Bossie's resignation.[5] Shortly thereafter, Burton accepted Bossie's resignation

Does his foundation actually do anything besides fund lawsuits and campaigns to keep Trump out of trouble?

The ironic part is he thought that donation would get him access when, in fact, it didn't...so he had to look for other places to splash the money that actually had a ROE.
Yeah, in terms of what the press does and does not investigate, it bewilders me that the press does not pursue this 'I'm a player in the system so I know the system better than anyone' line more. Who is this guy 'bribing' and what is he getting? And he's such a bad deal maker that he gets nothing?  I'm totally interested in this subject, how does it work, exactly? Hit and miss? Bondi hit the bait like a sea bass, I guess.

Honestly this is Trump's greatest strength. This is how he doesn't get killed off despite all these dumb things has done and says - He just won't acknowledge them and has zero sense of double standards, shame, hypocrisy what ever you want to call it.

All politicians get hung up on things, that is the game. Most can withstand a few things here and there. Trump has multiple things on a weekly basis that would kill anyone else. It is really staggering the list of #### ups he has.

You can go through the list of his attacks and without doubt he either does exactly what he is attacking on or does the exact thing on a larger scale.

I gues you're right. However I think if people are contributing to a charity thinking it goes to, you know, charity, it shouldn't be going to political campaigns or political groups. Basically it;'s a money mill at that point. Yeah actually I've talked around it and I'm back to being against it. Charities should be for charities not political slush funds.

This is a huge problem. And it's not something people think about much when they discuss corruption, but political intimidation is in itself corruption. I have no problem with free speech, I'm all for it, but this is about intimidating someone through the courts.

IMO this is not actually 'pay to play', but its is an outright bribe, this is 'quid pro quo.' I realize the DOJ doesn't interfere with elections but this needs to be investigated Day 1 after election day.

I'm just going to say they deserve equal treatment. One problem with the CF is that there were numerous stories, not just one, which led to its being exposed longer, but I agree this needs to be newshounded to the nth degree.

Yup.  And there's so much that the press can't focus for too long on one thing before it has to move on to the next, and next thing you know it's all just noise. That's why the only stuff that had already real staying power was the more sensational stuff (the Khans, Judge Curiel) rather than the dirtiest stuff (literally hundreds of other stories of failure, scams and corruption).

I'm hoping that the obvious parallels with the Clinton Foundation will get them to focus on this stuff.  It's far from his worst of course, but it's bad enough to do a lot of damage and to nullify his whole "crooked Hillary" shtick for a while.

The reporter Trump made fun of is a grown man. He is an accomplished grown man who is more successful than 99.9 percent of this forum. Trump made fun of this grown man for being flustered like he has made fun of other grown men for being flustered. Everyone trying to handle this very accomplished reporter with kid gloves are the ones actually crossing a line with him.

In the link I gave it showed Trump making fun of flustered people the same exact way he made fun of the reporter, so that proves it is his typical way of making fun of people that are flustered. His disability played no part in it. Your analogy is off because Trump wasn't doing an impersonation of a disabled man, he was doing an impersonation of a flustered man.

Your call out was weak, intellectually dishonest and fraudulent. Just like Hacking Hillary.

FWIW the Tampa Bay Times published an editorial calling for a DOJ investigation of the Trump-Bondi thing.
One other aspect of this which kind of cracks me up is Trump's defense that Bondi dropped the investigation because (he says) she knew he would win his lawsuit. See that's pretty funny to me because when he loses his lawsuit (and I think he will) the reverse becomes true and it becomes evidence that he should have been investigated.

I've been 100% convinced that Trump was mocking the guy's disability, but those video clips give me a little pause.  With that said, Trump prefaced the reporter mocking with something like "you gotta see this guy" and Trump's gesticulating there seemed more pronounced than in the other examples.  I guess I still believe he was mocking a disabled guy, but I'm less confident in that opinion than I was before.

Ok, let's stipulate that Trump loves the disabled. Many people are saying it. He loves the disabled so much it will make your head spin.

Now please tell me why he's qualified to be president.

It sounds like he's actually increasing the number of disabled people due to all the head injuries caused by the spinning. Sounds like a public health hazard to me.
