Or, he could be following the advice of his attorneys not to release tax info while an Audit is going on.  From the article:

tax experts advise against releasing returns while under audit

Interesting bit of info I saw about exit polls from yesterday. Trump voters put "Speaks his mind" above "Shares my values" when voting for Trump.

Which means that they care more about someone who isn't a double-faced lying politician rather than someone who they actually agree with.

That's how bad other politicians are. It's pretty much all people see in Hillary, that she's a pandering liar. People see Trump and they figure "I don't agree with him, but, at least I have an idea of what he's actually thinking."

They'd rather vote for a blowhard who's consistent that they disagree with on the issues instead of someone who panders to them one day, but they don't know if she means it.
But, he has shown he us a double faced lying politician.

Isn't bought out, only accepts small donations.

Wants to focus on Americans first, and not being bought out he can actually do it.

Great instincts, one of the first to say Iraq was a mistake. He wrote about Bin Laden before 9/11.

Won't let political correctness get in the way of keeping the country safe and using common sense.

His giant ego is a positive here, because it will force him to try his hardest to be the best President he could possibly be.

Plus much more.
For someone who complains about spin and falsehoods, you sure post a lot of spin and falsehoods.

Or, he could be following the advice of his attorneys not to release tax info while an Audit is going on.  From the article:
Except that he's also lied about that, saying he can't do it (he can).  He also has walked back his promise to release them if/when the audits are done- that's the new story here.

Also, what Anthony Borbely said- nothing stopping him from releasing audits from past years, which is commonplace for candidates.

Also this:

Whatever the motive here, what Trump is doing may be unprecedented in one important respect. The tradition of presidential candidates releasing their tax returns dates back to Richard Nixon. As Philip Bump documents today, Nixon released his tax returns while president, even though he was under audit. Thus, Trump — who had previously said he would not release his returns until an ongoing audit is complete, and is now suggesting he may not release them at all — is not even willing to do what Nixon did.

:lmao: at getting on the Donald for not releasing tax returns. Obama dodged everything from his college records to his long-form for years. Still waiting on those college records. He even got the media to help him out by having them hold back on recorded speeches that still haven't seen the light of day.

And Hillary's doing the same thing. She's not letting her paid speeches out either. She even installed white-noise machines at the perimeter of her last one to prevent reporters from recording what she says.

Yeah, Donald's the one in the wrong here. C'mon hypocrites. He shouldn't release anything until Obama and Hillary put up all theirs.
See the thing is they get ####, lots of #### about all those things. That's politics. If I'm following this and what everyone is saying is correct Hills released all her taxes.

What is funny is when the Trumpettes get all pissy that Donald / Conservatives get treated unfairly. Serious crock.

 at the longform. Even Trump has shut his mouth about that stuff.

Not his tax returns, though.  Every major presidential candidate since Nixon.  Including Hillary.

Nobody's asking for college grades or speech transcripts or birth certificates or any of that other ridiculous nonsense.  Just the same thing everyone else has handed over.  Same thing Clinton handed over almost a year ago.  Same thing Obama handed over.  Same thing that obscenely wealthy candidates like Romney and Kerry handed over.

There's only one candidate shady and arrogant enough to duck this one.

Both of them released their returns...as candidates have for years.

The others are crap the right makes up and even then they complained when Obama released his BC.

The only thing they've released are their taxes. Reporters have asked for Obama's college transcripts for a decade now and he's turned them down. The Khalidi tape has been hidden by the LA Times since 2008 if not earlier.

Hillary still hasn't let anyone in on what goes on at her million-dollar speeches.

Let's see this stuff out in the open first.
Has Donald released his college transcripts?

Have other candidates released their college transcripts? Or speech transcripts?

Has Trump?

Though, its your usual fishing.  So carry on.

He shouldn't release anything ever as far as I'm concerned. He should come out as a full-on Last Thursday-ist and deny anything ever happened in his past.

God the liberals get so worked up when the right starts using their own playbook.
You seem to be the only one worked up.

This seems to be flying under the radar here and also getting downplayed a bit generally, not sure why

Donald Trump Says He Won't Release Tax Returns Until After Election

So much for attacking Clinton on transparency. Also obviously another example of him being a fraud and full of ####, given this:

Not that any of his supporters will care, of course. I assume they'll lap up whatever awkward excuse he comes up with for this without question and come back thirst for more.  Sound about right, fellas?
Whatever Donald says.

Incredible. I have to wonder why anyone in the military would support someone who insulted and disrespected a war hero.
Don't forget that Trump also got 4 school-related deferments and a medical deferment for bone spurs in his heels. Before he got a lucky number in the draft. But the lying narcissist conveniently leaves out the bogus medical deferment whenever he tells the story.

Thank you Donald!

But the fight's not over yet, the GOP and conservatives will still try to screw you at the convention... you just keep screwing them instead!  :pickle:

Man that guy is smart and resourceful, just what you want in a president.

I don't blame him or his rich family for the bogus medical deferment. But he would've gotten even more votes if he hadn't offended McCain. That's not strategic, smart or resourceful.
:lmao: people HATE mccain and it definitely did get him more votes going after him.

i see him as a traitor that sold out.
I see him as a man who served his country well, was tortured... And then served his country well again.  I don't agree with all of his politics...but he is due far more respect than Trump is, that is for sure.

You realize vets hate McCain, right?

He is also refusing to release past returns that are no longer under IRS audit.
Man, who the #### cares. There's nothing in there. How much he pays in taxes is a moot point if he's audited every year. IT basically says that whatever he did to avoid paying taxes was legal. Who doesn't do everything they can to avoid paying taxes. Just a bunch of jealous losers wanting to see how much he made and pays (in taxes). Go find another angle. This one is a dead end.

Do the Trump people enjoy listening to him talk about his poll numbers or his crap line of "premium" products?

I would honestly think even his fans have a hard time listening to that.

It would show he's not worth what he says - one of the most important things to him.

Against .... no opposition. How many people in NE voted 'no thanks' to their own party nominee?

btw I posted a nice congrats further up, you could have taken that to the bank brohan.
Surprise surprise another asterisk. Look it's clear you and a lot of people don't understand why Trump keeps winning. I told you how he gets to the required delegates and all I get is sarcasm. I told you state by state and you still didn't believe. Now that he's winning those states you come up with a lame reason.

TRUMP KEEPS WINNING AND WINNING AND WINNING AND WINNING!

You think you're the smartest person in the room, but you get proven wrong time and time again.

No matter what's in Donald Trump's tax returns, I don't think it will change many votes.
Not by itself. Certainly it won't have any effect at all with his diehard supporters, as seen here. (Nothing will.)

But it gives Hillary's surrogates another way to attack him, which works against his strategy for winning: he needs to make her the subject of conversation, rather than him.

Did you type this one out timmy, or was it a hired illegal? I know youve been pushing hard for that 100k mark

If they think it's another way to attack him they have already lost.

"I’ll admit it, I like Donald Trump’s speeches,” Gervais began. “I’ve made my fortune out of playing delusional, middle-aged men who say stupid things, and people love them. But he’s beaten me.”
He may not like trump and disagrees with what he says, but the fact is people are tired of being told they can't say things.
