That is outstanding.  From what I've read and seen, I think I would have liked John Bassett a lot had I had the chance to meet him.

Mike Tollin, the guy who directed the 30 For 30 documentary "Small Potatoes: Who Killed The USFL?" still has the fax Trump sent him after viewing a rough cut of the doc.  Trump sent back the cover letter with insults handwritten on it, including circling Tollin's name, and writing "LOSER" next to it.  I'll try to track it down.

ETA: cstu found it.  My recollection wasn't quite correct, but the Tollin letter he links to down the page is the one.

This is rooster coming home to roost if I ever saw it.  Just amazing hubris on display.  My prayer is for Donald to go to jail for some kind of shenanigans after this campaign, be it fianacial, taxes, corruption, scamming, sex preadation, etc, I dont care.  Talk about opening yourself up.  Just wow.

I'm not even joking, but how does Hillary even share a stage with this degenerate again? She has to stand up there for another 90 minutes and pretend this isn't a completely sick ####### worthy of being in this race.

There is no bombshell. They know what is in their emails and arw assuming the worst. The issue is when russia puts in fake #### into the leaks and wikileaks does not vet them.

Cap, if these are true, they are terrible, but come on, isn't there this little part of you that says "oh come on, you were sexually assaulted by one of the richest guys in the world, years ago; whom you could have hired the cheapest TV lawyer on the block and got some hush settlement from; but years and years later you choose to come forward?"

Maybe it is all true, but the timing is odd.

And before you suggest anything, yeah I have two daughters (12-17) so I take these stories seriously.

I will simply say that you have not the slightest clue about what happens, psychologically, to a victim of sexual assault. Please educate yourself.

No. Google rape culture and victim blaming. Especially with the rich and powerful. Also most rape victims never report due to shame or fear.

Donald Trump was known far and wide for using his lawyers as a weapon to bludgeon anyone he thought he could bully.  With that as a known I don;t see whyit is unreaonable to assume the ladies who are making the current allegations feared to come forward, even if they had Lionel Hutz advocating for them.

Have any Trump supporters on here actually changed their minds based on it becoming clearer every day just how terrible a human he is (and yes I know the standard response is but Hilary/email/benghazi)

I doubt it, but most of them disappeared from this thread after Trump's numbers started going south after the first debate. A few stuck around, like HellToupee and tried to defend the #####Gate tape, but even he gave up after repeatedly making a horse's patootie out of himself trying to defend the indefensible.

Can there be any doubt that he is convinced he is the most important man in America, and in the death throes of his sociopathic narcissistic megalomania, if the ardent admirer of strong men dictators like Putin thinks that democratic institutions stand between him and his goal, he won't hesitate to throw them under the bus as well, even if it increases the likelihood of polling violence and throwing post-election succession mechanisms into chaos. 

Maybe when the time comes and if deemed appropriate, Clinton should appoint a special prosecutor to see if any of the above falls into the category of sedition, and actionable grounds for prison. And if links are found with Russia, possibly treason.
