My absolute favorite John Oliver moment was during his clip regarding The Wall and he played the video of that above statement.
Nope. What will happen for people like this is they just bought themselves another four years to complain about how horrible life is because of the Democrats.Maybe you'll finally figure out the differences here when your guy gets absolutely crushed in November, handing over the Senate and the Supreme Court in the process. Unfortunately, you probably won't, though.
You're just killing yourself in here with this kind of fearmongering. The world is a dangerous place indeed although less dangerous than in the past (it's twue, it's twue) and bad things are going to happen. Overreactions like your's are not the path to mature governance. It will be a terrible day in this country if that happens. Maybe you will finally see your errant ways when the US is riddled in debt, terrorists are attacking the homeland via refugees, and our kids will struggle getting jobs.
A moderate republican would have destroyed hillary. Instead Hillary may have the biggest margin of victory ever. Crazytown.Republicans are perfectly capable of being the "grown-ups" in any fiscal debate. In fact, one of my concerns as a lefty is that they will develop sensible economic and social policies that will draw moderates away from the Dems while still leaving the whackos nowhere else to turn.
I actually understand the depth of this campaign, if you want to be continually wrong do so. If you want an opinion from someone who is actually voting for Trump and has watched hours of tape on him. Then listen to me.Shhhh... the grown ups are talking. You got plenty of attention yesterday.
Staying under the radar for a while and then overloading the airwaves with an advertising blitz during a strategic window in the early fall? DraftKings and FanDuel don't see any way that could possibly backfire!
OK, quick contest for everyone: Best response to this line gets unlimited likes from me all day long, and a free beer if we ever meet. I'll go first:and has watched hours of tape on him.
Trump appears to be doing well with evangelicals, which is pretty amazing when you think of it. Everything that the moralists castigated Bill Clinton for are being totally overlooked with a pretty much amoral Donald Trump (twice divorced, out of wedlock father, etc.). The lesson that I get from this is that something else has replaced traditional morality as that which moves the religious right and that someone taking a more secular path can win (the GOP may have to change the way it goes about the business of nominating candidates at all levels, though).A moderate republican would have destroyed hillary. How's that resume coming along?I actually understand the depth of this campaign, if you want to be continually wrong do so. If you want an opinion from someone who is actually voting for Trump and has watched hours of tape on him. Then listen to me.
Get it? Got it? Good.
or he drops out and walks away with boatloads.Exactly. His campaign is barely spending any money and people are acting like he'd dead in the water. His campaign coffers are just stacking cash, stacking cash, stacking cash. You realize at some point they're going to spend all that money on overwhelming negative ads when it counts, right?
I like his upside, but I think his stock will drop when they measure his hands at the combine.and has watched hours of tape on him.
dont forget his wifes nudie pics bromigo take that to teh bankTrump appears to be doing well with evangelicals, which is pretty amazing when you think of it. I have asked this before. I think his plan is to take all the money donated to him and the federal money and keep it.or he drops out and walks away with boatloads.
That would be hilarious.I have asked this before. I think his plan is to take all the money donated to him and the federal money and keep it.
Good point. The RR completely let that slide and that would have been a dealbreaker in the past for them. I think all that "traditional morality" stuff is just a platitude these days and will be even more so in the future as the traditional types age and die and aren't replaced in nearly the same numbers.dont forget his wifes nudie pics bromigo take that to teh bank
Please don't do that. The bolded isn't true superficially and it isn't remotely true in substance.Funny how we've had eight years of a Democratic President, and there hasn't been a single terrorist attack (no, the random nuts with guns don't count) and unemployment is at record low levels. And please explain to me how the national debt has any effect on us whatsoever.
Why is it a big deal that the Orlando shooting's father was in attendance? He didn't shoot anyone. I don't get the outrage. Maybe he wants to heal. Maybe he wants to help. I thought republicans were the party of freedom.Maybe you'll finally figure out the differences here when your guy gets absolutely crushed in November, handing over the Senate and the Supreme Court in the process. Because this is what they have to yelp about. Why is it a big deal that the Orlando shooting's father was in attendance?
Bingo.Remember when Trump was roasted on comedy central? Well apparently each roastee is allowed to make one rule regarding which kinds of jokes can be told, for example Hasselhof said not to make fun of his daughters.
Guess what Trump's stipulation was? You weren't allowed to say that he wasn't rich.
Which leads me to my next point.. I think it's obvious why Trump isn't releasing his tax returns. He will drop out of the race before he releases his tax returns.
Waffle Irons! My absolute favorite John Oliver moment was during his clip regarding The Wall and he played the video of that above statement.
He replayed the part where Trump explains how to defeat his $25 billion wall (a rope), and came back with the most hilarious look on his face. Starting at about 13:20. I can watch this on a loop.
But is it not fair to say objectively that unemployment figures have improved in the last 8 years? I would concede wage growth and labor force participation could be stronger, but in the last decade point of view, we're better off now than 8-9 years ago. True or no?Please don't do that. The bolded isn't true superficially and it isn't remotely true in substance.
Would be illegal.I have asked this before. I think his plan is to take all the money donated to him and the federal money and keep it.
I don't think it is a big deal, but the shooter's father is a pretty big ####head, even if he did say the right things after his son did what he did.Why is it a big deal that the Orlando shooting's father was in attendance? He didn't shoot anyone. I don't get the outrage. Maybe he wants to heal. Maybe he wants to help. I thought republicans were the party of freedom.
That's factual. But is it not fair to say objectively that unemployment figures have improved in the last 8 years? I would concede wage growth and labor force participation could be stronger, but in the last decade point of view, we're better off now than 8-9 years ago. True or no?
Agreed, he's sore on this point. He builds in a delirious amount of "goodwill" when he estimates his own net worth. He probably has $250mm in assets, and he estimates his brand goodwill at $1B. Voila, billionaire Trump.Bingo.
Nothing gets him upset like being challenged on his wealth.
Correct. I do think his premise was valid, although overstated. That's factual.
Trumpeting unemployment as being a record lows is decidedly not factual.
Seems like it. He also seems to be pretty nutty. A couple links:I don't know anything about the guy's father. Is he an awful human too?
It's going good! I got 4 callbacks today! How's that resume coming along?
Please don't do that. The bolded isn't true superficially and it isn't remotely true in substance.
It is a pet peave of mine when people take a point that has validity and exaggerate it. It happens all the time, and not just in politics. It is actually a terrible way to support an argument to anybody who is paying attention. Credibility destroyer...Correct. I do think his premise was valid, although overstated.
Oh boy! What am I gonna do without that extra $5 dollars?!?!?!Hillary -375
Trump +310
And now, my bet with Em is in my favor.![]()
Why not? You have a big brain and a penchant for great ideas!Don't like or support my posts, asswad.
I've got my charity picked out. Will let you out right now for $40 if you can pay them today.Oh boy! What am I gonna do without that extra $5 dollars?!?!?!

Nope!I've got my charity picked out. Will let you out right now for $40 if you can pay them today.
Me too, but I had to make an exception this one time.I accept likes and support from anyone.
What's interesting about unemployment is both candidates have a position they can support. While overall unemployment is lower, which Clinton can tout; wages are flat, labor participation overall should be stronger, and Trump can run on the status quo as the reason, and specifically tie in Obamacare as a reason. Want to know why more employers aren't hiring full time, or paying higher wages? Trump has a good argument here, and Obamacare is not viewed favorably while the man Obama generally is viewed favorably. It is a pet peave of mine when people take a point that has validity and exaggerate it. It happens all the time, and not just in politics. It is actually a terrible way to support an argument to anybody who is paying attention. Credibility destroyer...
