I actually have one reason I would like Trump to win - I'm pretty upfront about everything, so it gets some folks here to dislike me, but my main reason to root for Trump:

Trump win IMO guarantees a stock market crash in 1-2 years. I'd love for this bull to just die and die very hard so I can pile in a bunch that's on the sidelines. If by some miracle he wins, that's my silver lining.
You sound like Trump celebrating the crash of the British pound because it will encourage more foreign tourism at his golf course.

Seeing that list by Fish, it has been confirmed. Terrible football opinions and supporting Trump goes hand in hand as well as other terrible things and supporting Trump.

NEWS, first reported by @WSJ: Breitbart's Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway are now running the Trump campaign... Confirmed by WaPo

Wow, big news.

First, Manafort is out? Is there more to the Ukraine money?

Second, These people are from Breitbart? Do they have any experience running a campaign?

***Steve Bannon is from Breitbart, not sure if he has any campaign experience. Kellyanne Conway is trump's Pollster.
Let's see, Lewandowski was the man but he was fired, possibly partly because of the issue with the Breitbart reporter, who they attacked mercilessly. FF to today and they hire that reporter's former boss. :loco:

Making this change yet still keeping Manafort and his problems seems pretty ultra-dumb.
This actually just confirms the rumors that Manafort had thrown his hands up because Trump ignores his advice. Manafort is probably in Jesus take the wheel stage and the TrumpBeliebers come in to do whatever Der Orangenkopf says.

I got so sick of Higgs' nonsense that I challenged him to a debate after which he promptly evaporated.

Maybe they've been quarantined for the good of the nation.

While it would have been entertaining I'm willing to forgo their posts for the greater good.
Nice list

Trump found someone that told him they loved what he was doing, but they needed more of the same. More nationalism, more fervor, more Trump!

Btw, when was this "great" America you are talking about Em? I'm not saying it wasn't, just curious what you're talking about when you say that.

so trump went up to west bend which is in a hugely white county north of milwaukee and then talked about the black community and implied that they commit tons of crimes and that somehow he is the anti hte anti bigot anti race issue candidate which seriously no one not even pence believes what a total and utter load of crap i mean wisconsin republicans already have a huge never trump streak and now he goes and make the ds even more fired up to kick his butt man i did not think it was possible for hiim to make milwaukee and dane counties where most of the population is here in wisco hate him more but he just went and proved me wrong again brohans take that to the bank
Know any brohans / bromigos up in Plymouth / Sheboygan? My homeland!

OMG

Donald Trump is shaking up his senior campaign staff yet again in the wake of several weeks of sinking poll numbers and critical press coverage of his gaffes from the trail.

Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon will “temporarily step down from his role with Breitbart News” to join the team as the campaign CEO, while Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway will be promoted to campaign manager.

The Wall Street Journal first broke the news about the staff changes on Tuesday, which the Trump campaign confirmed in a statement sent out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

“I have known Steve and Kellyanne both for many years,” Trump said in the statement. “They are extremely capable, highly qualified people who love to win and know how to win.”

“I believe we’re adding some of the best talents in politics, with the experience and expertise needed to defeat Hillary Clinton in November and continue to share my message and vision to Make America Great Again,” he continued.

While Paul Manafort will stay on as campaign chairman and chief strategist, two Trump advisers who spoke to the Washington Post on condition of anonymity said that his internal role would be diminished as the Republican nominee tries to retake the reigns of his campaign.

The aides told the Post that Trump has felt “controlled” and “boxed in” by staffers urging him to tone down his rhetoric and pivot towards a general election audience. As a seasoned campaign operative, Manafort played a key role in trying to turn Trump’s understaffed, shoestring operation into a more traditional national presidential campaign.

But the notoriously blustery real estate mogul has shrugged off these efforts, continuing to get in trouble for off-the-cuff comments like his claim that “Second Amendment people” could keep Hillary Clinton from appointing liberal Supreme Court justices. As his poll numbers in national surveys and battleground states have fallen, Trump has expressed a wish to return to the kind of combative campaign that fueled his success in the Republican primary.

In a Tuesday radio interview in Wisconsin, Trump said his honesty was key to his support.

"I am who I am,” he said. “It's me. I don't want to change. Everyone talks about 'oh are you gonna pivot?' I don't want to pivot.”

With the new hires, Trump has signaled that he plans to fully embrace the no-holds-barred style he relied on in the primary.
It's like Hillary putting Cenk Uygur in charge of her campaign.

2008!  What a great year!  I remember thinking every day on my commute to work, "Well, at least traffic might be lighter."
And I was thinking "well at least I won't have to have awkward conversations with my neighbors" since so many of them were foreclosed on and had to move out.

Ah yes, $5/gallon gas and getting laid off. The good ol' days. Though maybe Em is talking about high school. Because I can second that. My best friend's parents lived out of the country and he lived with just his brother. Our entire class had a permanent anything goes party house. America sure was great.

Huge rallies. Gloves off. Brutal fights with Clinton. Heavy emphasis on nationalism and populism. That's the Bannon strategy.
So basically Trump went out and found a yes man who will let him do what he wants to do -- which is a full return to the primary slash and burn stuff.

Lock it up.  The election is over.

Same reason you don't see Cleveland Browns fan talking smack after week 10. They're all in hiding now.

You guys aren't very sharp. Perhaps these are the reasons I think America stopped being great?

And I was thinking "well at least I won't have to have awkward conversations with my neighbors" since so many of them were foreclosed on and had to move out.
Again, perhaps this is the reason I think America stopped being great at this time?

Nice brain trust we've got in here.

America stopped being great about 8 years ago.
That's a sad post, even if its only to support your pathetic schtick.  During the height (low actually) of the GWB years, i never thought America wasn't great.  I thought we had an idiot running our country, but even with all of our problems I always thought America was still the finest country in the world by far.

Bad form Em.

natesilver: The tricky thing for Trump is that you can’t make those 7 or 8 points up in a day. Or a week. Or maybe not even a month. You can chip away at them a little bit and then hope to get lucky in the debates or because the polls were a little bit off to begin with.

But if Trump starts trying to throw Hail Marys in August, it could just make matters worse. And if the campaign thinks the polls are skewed and makes that Ailes-ish, Hannity-ish mistake of confusing the views of a vocal minority for those of the majority, they’re probably screwed.
Right on cue.
