I'm not sure how much I buy Michael Moore's take when he wrote the following around the time of the Republican Convention: http://michaelmoore.com/trumpwillwin/
He's absolutely right. The idea of "pivoting" to become "Presidential" or responsible or knowlegible is absurd. I get the "pivot" from extremist for the primary to centrist for the general, but with Trump they expect him to pivot to be a totally different person"It's me. I don't want to change. Everyone talks about 'oh are you gonna pivot?' I don't want to pivot. I mean you have to be you.I f you start pivoting, you are not being honest with people."
Sound of Republican Donors closing up their checkbooks in 3..2..
Yeah, I hate post-primary pivots. Awful. He's absolutely right. The idea of "pivoting" to become "Presidential" or responsible or knowlegible is absurd. He hasn't been entirely honest about this though. All the business about him being presidential, about stopping with the personal attacks and wild conspiracy theories. He was willing to pivot, he just sucks at politics, he failed at it. Close the books. He's absolutely right. The idea of "pivoting" to become "Presidential" or responsible or knowlegible is absurd. Yeah right. Those don't even have the Trump Polls
Yep. No such thing as a Libertarian. They are simply Republicans masquerading as moderates. No opinion on Stein, but disagree wholeheartedly on Johnson
Always thought they were Republicans who smoke pot.Yep. No such thing as a Libertarian. They are simply Republicans masquerading as moderates.
Who knows, maybe yes is not out of the question. Trump could also blurt something classified out to get attention. He could say some wildass conspiratorial thing and no one would know if he got it from the IC and he could could claim he did. I'm sure this conversation has been had.Whatever Trump learns in the briefing is going straight to Putin, right?
Oh but the overlords like ingraham, coulter, and hannity are saying this was the greatest speech ever, at least the best sinve his best speech yesterday, and this fixes everything. All of their followers will buy into it too.soIngrahamwent up to west bend which ishugely white county north of milwaukee and then talked about the black community and implied that they commit tons of crimes and that somehow he is the anti hte anti bigot anti race issue candidate which seriously no one not even pence believes what a total and utter load of crap i mean wisconsin republicans already have a huge never trump streak and now he goes and make the ds even more fired up to kick his butt man i did not think it was possible for hiim to make milwaukee and dane counties where most of the population is here in wisco hate him more but he just went and proved me wrong again brohans take that to the bank
The question is whether Trump can overcome a growing deficit with less than 90 days before election day, and even less than that before some key states begin early voting. The latest NPR analysis of the battleground map shows Clinton in a strong position, with enough electoral votes to secure the presidency — if the election were held today and the polls were to hold — without carrying any states considered toss-ups.
BENGHAZI! WHARBLGARBLE!
They'll give him 99% of the same stuff they give Clinton, plus 1% of things that if they get leaked to, say, Russia, will be immediately recognizable as having come from him.I'm guessing the NSA guys tell Trump about the secret alien base on Bora Bora, or maybe the electronical Z-gun that vaporizes people's clothes.
let him beSwc, I love you man, but long-winded political posts just aren't your thing. Keep it short and sweet, and let your alias (aliai) do the in-depth discussion.
Less is more, GB.

Agreed on Stein and I even voted for her in 2012Honestly, Stein is as much a loony as Trump. Johnson is legit, but Stein is crazy.
, Johnson is OK on social issues, but his economic plan would put the size of the Government about the size of my City's Government (Currently 450 people)That was not a Trump ad but an NRA ad that they ran in the primaries. Got a lot of criticism because they filmed it inside a military cemetery.
WTF......
But the year after Governor Christie, a Republican, took office, the tone of the litigation shifted. The state entertained settlement offers. And in December 2011, after six years in court, the state agreed to accept just $5 million, roughly 17 cents on the dollar of what auditors said the casinos owed.
Several Trump supporters have caused me to significantly change my mind about them.Hey, 618 pages!!!! Anyone change someone's mind yet?
Depending what his goals actually are it's possible he really has been hiring the best people. Unlikely, but admittedly possible. For a guy who would hire all the right people and make good decisions, has he made a single good decision or put any person in place who was the right person yet?
All I see is the NRA's Benghazi ad which has been running here for months.
No one is voting for the white guys he hired to run his economic team, they are voting...or not voting for the orange one. His whole ISIS spiel yesterday was the most serious he's ever been this entire campaign, and it was so empty you could hear the echo of the forefathers saying: America...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Make Syria an ISIS free-zone? Cool story bro, way to get advice from the most illogical people in the U S of A.Depending what his goals actually are it's possible he really has been hiring the best people. Unpossible - he is the worst candidate to win a nominee, possibly ever. Funny, I though topping Palin as a running mate would take lifetimes.I thought Cruz would be worse
Cruz is against everything I'm for I guess, he's a humble brag ######.Unpossible - he is the worst candidate to win a nominee, possibly ever. Funny, I though topping Palin as a running mate would take lifetimes.I thought Cruz would be worse
As dumb as our population is, I don't see how Hillary doesn't win in a landslide, and I hate her too.
I just hope it brings down the GOP in the Senate.Unpossible - he is the worst candidate to win a nominee, possibly ever.

Nope, I think Bannon is there for the message. And Alex Jones will be coming on board by Labor DayClearly decided Manafort was too big a liability. Which he was.
Don't see any campaign experience on Bannon's Wikipedia page.
Making this change yet still keeping Manafort and his problems seems pretty ultra-dumb.Ali Vitali Verified account @alivitali 4m4 minutes ago Manhattan, NY

Unless Manafort is the go between for Trump and Putin.Making this change yet still keeping Manafort and his problems seems pretty ultra-dumb.
