Official Donald Trump for President thread (4 Viewers)

Our system is broken. The two parties take their constituents for granted.  On both sides they treat everyone like market segments and tailor their message accordingly. Both cater to the extremes and leave the middle without a voice.  Most of us are social moderates and fiscal conservatives.  The media is all about ratings so they love to rile up the fringes. No matter the dynamics of our system we are stuck in gridlock. We need an outside voice or a shock to the system of both democrats and republicans.  The one thing they can agree on is putting roadblocks out at the state level to thwart viable 3rd parties

We are fortunate to live in about the only country in the world that can have a revolution without ever firing a shot but we are stuck with this eternal Tom and Jerry cartoon.

The best hope is Johnson gets a shot at getting heard, but he won't make the debates.  Trump is the next best bet. He is outside the Republican power structure.  If he wins the whole career politician dynamic is in jeopardy.  He is a threat to the establishment in his party.  That's a good thing.

Hillary brings nothing to the table.  She's not going to fix anything.  She has no charisma and is polarizing.  Gridlock will be worse than ever as she will think she has a mandate to go after things like gun control rather than more important non polarizing issues.
Perhaps the system is broken.  Maybe it even needs an outside voice to "shock the system"  But that voice is not Donald Trump.  There are literally millions of people more qualified and mentally fit to be the President.  Most of the people in this thread could make a better go of it, or would at least understand they are over their head and seek out smart, stable people to help them.

Trump is the guy at the bar who brags he could solve all the world's problems if only someone would make him king for 1 day, but really has no clue what it takes to be President.  Or any understanding of the issues at all.  And he has the maturity of a 4 year old.

I think for a lot of people it really hasn't sunk in that we're voting for the President of the United States here.  This isn't like a game of checkers where if you're losing, you flip the board over.  It's a bit more serious than that.

The post you specifically refered to was about an AR-15, not an assault rifle. You brought that up in a nice deflection.

Now, do you have anything to say about the poster's fear that Hillary would take his AR-15 away?
Define the AR-15 in a way that makes it an assault weapon. Politics isn't rocket science.

1. What we are doing now against ISIS is pretty good IMO:lol:

2. There is no equivocation when it comes to NATO. The correct answer is, if a country is a member of NATO, the USA will defend that nation against outside aggression. Period. Any other answer is dishonorable.

3. If you had been Secretary of State, and had done what Hillary did, you would not be in prison.
There's schtick but then you have to stand back once in a while and simply acknowledge greatness...Tim.

Tim, you're on MOP's Mt Rushmore of schtick; you might have some of these people fooled into thinking you wake up everyday with a Hope/Change t-shirt on but you don't fool the MOP and perhaps it takes one to know one but seriously you have to stand back in awe of the Catholic Church of Schtick headed by Tim Scho Chet.

You think talking about yourself in the third person is cute and clever, but is just comes across as pompously self important and annoying.

I have NO idea what you're talking about, which is not unusual.

I am dead serious that I believe Obama's strategy of supporting local troops in Iraq and Syria and removing ISIS slowly but surely from each town and city it occupies, while at the same time targeting its' leaders for assassination, is a very effective plan.

Shocking that it's the best part of the state.
Austin is a wonderful city, I loved my visits there. A chick flew me out to visit site unseen in the early 90s, I was TM'ing my way thru my late teenage years and this lady bought from me and wanted to meet. We did not hit it off in person as well as over the phone, but I got a free flight and ended up hooking up with her much more attractive friend which is probably why we didn't hit it off so well.

How many times have I demeaned Hilary Clinton in our exchanges here today? First time I'm bringing her up? You're so focused on landing invisible body shots to an air bag that you're still not listening.

Bogus would be Trump supporters are for space aliens running the country....see that's bogus because there aren't any space aliens...now we do in fact have actual PC police in the form of government and also the Supreme Court which has weighed in on a lot in the last 8 years so you can continue to put your fingers in your ears which is exactly what you do every post with all this tomfoolery. I almost fell out of my chair a couple weeks ago to find out you are not voting for Clinton.

How anyone who hates her as much as you profess to and then spends 24/7 selling out to antagonizing any of Trump's supporters just feels weird to a lot of folks. I cannot and will not understand why you dismiss what trump supporters are telling you as one of the reasons why they are voting for him and then all you do is try and turn it into some shaming flaming joke when in fact all you do is push them even further into Trump's arms @TobiasFunke   #feminism, #MOP, oh yes I did!
Where do I mention Hillary.  I don't give a rat's ### about Hillary.  Im not a Hillary supporter.  So it seems like you are not listening very well.

Im listening...Im listening to you try and make excuses for Trump's behavior and Im calling them BS excuses based on his actual behavior.

Selling out?  I don't like Hillary...I won't vote for her or support her.  Which is independent from Trump being completely awful..worse than her...and completely unfit to even be considered for President.

And if anyone is pushed to vote for someone based on what anyone says on a message board(especially me)...they are a freaking idiot.

You stated earlier than we here need to get more fresh air...try taking that advice yourself before more of these ridiculous rants of yours.  Or go back to throwing a fit and ignoring me.

Dude, it is after midnight in Florida and, as usual, he is in his cups. :banned:

If I was ignoring you I wouldn't be posting with you.

-I don't follow Trump's day to day like I did 3-4 months ago when he had all the air, I imagine I'll perk back up at the debates which I might add could be very dangerous for Clinton. I hope if she is going to defeat Trump that she is able to handle herself. If she comes unglued like 16 others who got their lunch handed to them in the GOP primary debates...if they never had to meet to debate, the election might very well be over in favor of her. But I would like to believe that some of what Trump caught in a bottle will be unleashed at the debates.

-He has a chance to tattoo her, he has nothing to lose if he is trailing in the poll or polls IMO. If he gets up there and starts talking nonsense about rigged elections or NRA assassinations, or ISIS Founders then we'll know he's not that serious about truly winning. But what you all run with as ISIS fighters...a lot of folks in the media said Obama's inability to take decisive action has in fact or did in fact have a major impact on ISIS ability to spread and become a larger entity. So Trump says something preposterous to you but to a lot of regular folks, they heard something a little different than what you heard.

I'm interested to see how deep this goes because if Clinton is ahead by 15-20 points there isn't much to discuss.

I do not know what he would do either but whatever it is it has to be better than what we are doing now.  We should either go all in or walk away not split the difference.

He did not, go back and read the actual words he said.  He was asked if he would support NATO allies in a war with Russia - his response was something like "if they have met their GDP commitment, the answer is - yes".  He did not say, if they did not meet their commitment he would not support them.  Some NATO partners have never met their commitments, Hillary has stated the importance of getting them to pay.  He method is the same thing that has failed for decades - Trump would do things differently.

By the way, I do not like Trump - I just despise Hillary.  I will not vote for her based on the positions I articulated.  I will vote against her because I signed the same NDA she did - if I did exactly what she did, I would be in prison.
Yeah, you have no clue what's actually happening against ISIS.

That you think Trump handed anyone their lunch in the debates shows either your bias...or rather low expectations for a debate.  The only weapon he has are ignorant 1 liner insults.

Then again...I said nothing of Hillary and your whole rant here is about her.

She'll never be up by 15-20 points nationally. She is beating him pretty big in almost all the key states though.

My final gift to this rather boring thread is going to be a Seinfeld clip that really lands the plane IMO on some of Trump voters...not all but some. It also explains how you could take some of Trump's powers away if you all would stop yelling and screaming that he's the AntiChrist every other post.

Bad Boy

George is Trump of course...

Please Don't Feed The Troll(s)

PDFTT
I do not get why people cannot resist the urge to engage.  There are people here who are Trump supporters who, while I don't agree with them about pretty much anything, at least try to give their reasoning and engage on a reasonable level, and are posting not just to troll.  I don't understand why some otherwise good folks are so insistent upon feeding those who are simply, and obviously, trolls.  Keep fighting the good fight.

It looks like he is gone. Whether voluntary or involuntary, don't know...don't care

No stamina.
Speculation that the cancels may have to do with a reformulation of his immigration policy (strategery) - obviously a central pillar of his popularity (such as it is, among his core). He would have to weigh carefully any kind of dramatic reversal. If he does an about face and says everybody can stay, would it have an impact (would the potentially impacted trust him to not simply return back to his original position the day after the election), and would it be worth the cost of alienating his constituency, would they treat it as a betrayal or are they so 100% committed and locked in that even THAT wouldn't deter or sway them from a Trump vote?

Have you guys been enjoying your circle jerk since most of the Trump supporters have been banned? It's no wonder most of you have been so wrong about the polls. I can't really blame people for lying about their Trump support. Hell it's easier to lie than face the harassment and hatred from other people.

Carry on.

Like the guys who will vote Trump but post in the Gary Johnson thread?  Yeah, I respect that. :lmao:

In today's shocking (not shocking) news another poll is caught red handed manipulating their results to hide the fact that Trump is beating Hillary.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/08/22/monmouth-university-pollster-patrick-murray-busted-manipulating-poll-data-then-lying-about-it/
Four questions:

1. Where is the other poll(s) that manipulated results? You implied that there were multiple examples (e.g., "another").

2. Do you understand what "beating" means?

3. Do you understand what "fact" means?

4. Do you understand that polls are not real things that define winning or losing?

I was visiting family this weekend in a battleground state that delusional UIs think Hillary is going to win.

An informal poll found that only one 60 year old cat lady was voting for Hillary, half a dozen were disgusted with both parties, a handful were disinterested altogether, a handful were planning on holding their noses and voting for Trump because they see what a crooked and disgusting person Hillary is, and quite a few were proudly on the Trump Train.

Among the Trump supporters were an 80 year old woman who retired from teaching, a 60 year old woman who works with a Fortune 100 company, a 50ish self employed male from the Bay Area, a 68 year old male retired from the state, and a 13 year old male who attends a private school. Obviously the 13 year old can't vote (he isn't a Democrat) but he wore his red MAGA hat with hope and pride for his country. He said he loves triggering the weak. I told him to create an account here at FBG.

Unless Hillary backs out due to health reasons this election is going to be a blood bath. On November 8th that map is going to be painted red from sea to shining sea.

Here is your  :2cents:  from CTR, keep up the great work!

I'm simply stating Sho as I have since last summer almost that folks are voting for him 4 the very reasons some are voting against him. That's nothing new or unique to politics, I'm just saying what some are shouting as bad behavior and everything that falls under the umbrella, to some folks that feels like the "PC Police" and there are folks voting for Trump on this very issue alone much to the chagrin of many.
Trump's statements have not been un-PC.; They have been un-American.

It's really a problem.

I think maybe  supporters might want to disguise their identity.

Maybe some white robes and hoods.

With regard to ISIS, I'm not sure what Trump will do. He has made one contradictory statement after another. He has been very critical of Obama's policies but has failed to explain what he would do differently. I listened very carefully to his foreign policy speech and couldn't make heads or tails of it.
He's already stated that he'll wipe them out quickly.  Very, very quickly.

He's going to be so good at military it will make your head spin.
