Seems very plausible to meYou were. I remember it vividly. You were one of the reasons I took a vacation.
Seems very plausible to meYou were. I remember it vividly. You were one of the reasons I took a vacation.
I didn't see that. Got a link? You guys saw that educated people overwhelmingly don't support Trump, while uneducated people overwhelmingly support him, right?
That's gotta make you feel pretty good.
If a huge portion of this country wasn't poorly educated it would. You guys saw that educated people overwhelmingly don't support Trump, while uneducated people overwhelmingly support him, right?
That's gotta make you feel pretty good.
You're not serious are you?I didn't see that. Got a link?
Unless your views were far less moderate than you represent, I strongly doubt it.You were. I remember it vividly. You were one of the reasons I took a vacation.
It's by far the dominant and most numerous faction in the party. And it was made possible by all of you "moderate" righties who spent years accepting the religious bigotry and semi-subtle racism because those same people also supported your failed supply-side economic theories. Well done. You're about to reap the whirlwind this November in the form of an entire generation of the most Liberal SC that the country has ever seen. The entire right has not devolved into that.
Just wanted to see the data to see who Otis was calling uneducated. Seems like if you don't have a college degree, Otis thinks you are uneducated. You're not serious are you?

In fact you accused me of using my opposition to using love as a reason gay marriage should be government recognized as an excuse or smokescreen to hide my bias. I remember thinking what a jackass you were.Unless your views were far less moderate than you represent, I strongly doubt it.
Well to be fair, I believe it's accepted that people who have college degrees have more education than those who don't. Whether or not they're uneducated is another topic.Just wanted to see the data to see who Otis was calling uneducated. Seems like if you don't have a college degree, Otis thinks you are uneducated.
Nobody is more poorly educated as a whole than minorities and they overwhelmingly support ClintonYou guys saw that educated people overwhelmingly don't support Trump, while uneducated people overwhelmingly support him, right?
That's gotta make you feel pretty good.
link?Nobody is more poorly educated as a whole than minorities
The UK voters who voted to leave the EU were overwhelmingly less educated than the stay faction, they won thoughYou guys saw that educated people overwhelmingly don't support Trump, while uneducated people overwhelmingly support him, right?
That's gotta make you feel pretty good.
Asians down?Nobody is more poorly educated as a whole than minorities and they overwhelmingly support Clinton
Well, I don't know you Mr. Chaffetz, but thankyouverymuch for that image.
well I was trying to be nice by saying minorities when I really meant blacks and latinos...now let the you're a racist comments begin..Asians down?

Democrats lead by 22 points (57%-35%) in leaned party identification among adults with post-graduate degrees. The Democrats’ edge is narrower among those with college degrees or some post-graduate experience (49%-42%), and those with less education (47%-39%). Source
College-educated white voters are overwhelmingly supporting Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race, even though the Republican Party has carried the group in presidential races for several decades and Mitt Romney won the demographic in the 2012 race. (Same source as James Daulton cited)
Relative to people who do.Just wanted to see the data to see who Otis was calling uneducated. Seems like if you don't have a college degree, Otis thinks you are uneducated.
Well, your first statement is obvious of course, but Otis was he one who used the word uneducated. He used it poorly.Well to be fair, I believe it's accepted that people who have college degrees have more education than those who don't. Whether or not they're uneducated is another topic.
That's a whole lotta big words where you could have just said "educated people tend not to support Trump," and then gone and warmed your tea or something. But then again I guess that's hard to swallow?
So what does this really say? First, it says that the under-educated, i.e. those with less education are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican. Second it says that those with higher degrees (and therefore likely to be in the academic ivory tower idealist world) tend to vote for Democrats. It also says that College-educated white voters traditionally support the Republicans, this election being an anomaly for obvious reasons.
Now if you argue that the fundies have an undue influence over Republican politics, I'd tell you that up until the Tea Party (which was about 5 years after I stopped being actively involved in Republican politics), the pro-business wing of the party pretty much ignored the fundies because frankly, the fundies had nowhere else to go. However, when a vast majority of Republicans joined the Tea Party revolt, things changed.
either way, so much for your theory being anywhere close to reality.
How's that?Well, your first statement is obvious of course, but Otis was he one who used the word uneducated. He used it poorly.
I'm sorry, was it too complicated for you? I usually consider you a smart guy. That's a whole lotta big words where you could have just said "educated people tend not to support Trump," and then gone and warmed your tea or something. But then again I guess that's hard to swallow?
Which one was that? The one where I went into the Trump supporters thread and wondered if it bothered you guys to see the data that says that you have only uneducated people on your side in supporting Trump?Hey, you started a great hijack though!![]()
I do think Bueno had a nice riposte but this whirlwind comment is true. I don't know how liberal this court will or could be but its true as far as this being the effect. Battles were won, a culture war was lost.
None of that is in any way relevant to my point. If you don't think that the right has in general gone off of the deep end the last eight years, turning off tons of independents and anyone with even moderate critical thinking skills, then you're as bad as the Trumpkins.

Only uneducated people support Trump?Which one was that? The one where I went into the Trump supporters thread and wondered if it bothered you guys to see the data that says that you have only uneducated people on your side in supporting Trump?
That one, yeah.Which one was that? The one where I went into the Trump supporters thread and wondered if it bothered you guys to see the data that says that you have only uneducated people on your side in supporting Trump?
We talkin' relative to the average Trump supporter? Because in that case, well...Bueno, is this the part where you tell me 12 year olds are highly educated? I'll hang up and do paint by number.
Your point was that the under-educated and bigoted are by far the dominant and most numerous faction in the party. They are not. They are more dominant in the other party.None of that is in any way relevant to my point. If you don't think that the right has in general gone off of the deep end the last eight years, turning off tons of independents and anyone with even moderate critical thinking skills, then you're as bad as the Trumpkins.
12 year old kids don't vote. Enjoy your paint by the numbers set.Bueno, is this the part where you tell me 12 year olds are highly educated? I'll hang up and do paint by number.
You're bad at this. The number of uneducated Democrats is absolutely irrelevant to the ratio of educated : uneducated Republicans. And the fact that Donald effing Trump won your nomination is pretty overwhelming evidence as to who is running the show.Your point was that the under-educated and bigoted are by far the dominant and most numerous faction in the party. Then againNew FL poll: Trump leads Hillary 43 to 41.

Why is it my nomination? I'm not involved in Republican politics anymore. However, you called the uneducated the most numerous faction of the party. You are wrong. End of story. You're bad at this. The number of uneducated Democrats is absolutely irrelevant to the ratio of educated : uneducated Republicans. And the fact that Donald effing Trump won your nomination is pretty overwhelming evidence as to who is running the show.
Wow, a lib calling out Republicans for uneducated voters......this is comedy. Just curious where you have been the last 8 years? You're bad at this. Uhh... Trump.I've been hanging out watching the values of my house and my 401K both skyrocket under a successful administration. You?Wow, a lib calling out Republicans for uneducated voters......this is comedy. Just curious where you have been the last 8 years?
I'm sad to say this doesn't surprise me.Only uneducated people support Trump?
The image of Trump wearing a kimono is not good.
I just asked a simple question.I'm sad to say this doesn't surprise me.
