He has no chance at all. This will be the biggest landslide we've seen in a while.
Trump is going to win. The fact that he is only a few percentage points down after having the worst month in politics says it all. I wish it weren't true, but America is going to vote this buffoon in for ####s and giggles.

Worried the Poles would never get paid, Szabo put a second and third lien on the property. On Aug. 8, he called Macari and told him that because Trump had been paying the Poles, he was legally their employer. That meant that under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Trump couldn’t sell any space in the tower until Szabo’s clients were paid.

Forty-five minutes later, Szabo testified, he received a call from a man who identified himself as a Mr. Barron from Trump’s legal department, who said Trump was going to sue Szabo for $100 million for wrongful filing of mechanic’s liens.
:lmao:

So this guy is back tracking on the only policy he actually put forward and the reason he won the primary.  Pretty damn funny.
Jeb was wrong - you don't have to lose the primary to win the general, you just have to change the words you are saying.

Mr. Barron

Also donald's publicist (for those who forgot or missed). Why isn't that guy running for office? Very talented.

I for one, would be extremely letdown if Trump backtracked on his illegal immigration stance; especially the wall.
There will be a wall. But it will have big doors that lets immigrants move back and forth freely depending on what people tell donald in the morning.

Em:

I am happy to be leading in the polls again.
Oh, are you running for office too?

Because you couldn't possibly be referring to Trump, since he hasn't led a major national poll since July 24th. And he hasn't led the RCP average for Florida since February.

But hey, one poll of registered voters has Trump within the margin of error in Florida, so he's got that goin' for him, which is nice.

You don't consider his latest quotes to be a backtrack?
Well, I figured he'd never be able to kick everyone out. But simply kicking out the "bad guys" does no good for me.

No #### we kick out the bad guys. What about all the other law breakers? Where the line is drawn is a pretty big distinction.

"No citizenship", yeah, no ####, no citizenship.

What about all of the undocumented folks here supporting the economy by:

  • providing big corporations with cheap labor, increasing profit margins and shareholder value
  • owning and renting homes, paying property taxes
  • consumers - do you have any idea how large of a demographic they represent?
My girlfriend was moved to this country when she was 15 years old.  Most of her extended family on both sides moved here.  A handful are now US citizens, but most are still undocumented.  They own homes, they have jobs, they pay taxes, they own cars, they consume and there are millions that look just like them.

1.) I don't care if they're helping shareholder value. They're breaking the law and our stock market is at record high, we have room to cut back on profit.

2.) Home ownership is the lowest since pre-recession, I'd rather those homes go to African Americans.

3.) I don't care. They're breaking the law. Any smart business knows how many illegals buy their products and will make adjustments accordingly.

They're welcome to come back if they choose to do so legally. There's no excuse for breaking the law.

Where do we start looking the other way next? I kill people but only bad people, so it's justified. Come on man, we need law and order.

Which states that currently favor Clinton in the polls will wind up going for Trump?
I'm actually buying the Trump narrative that the polls aren't taking into account people embarrassed to admit they are voting for the lunatic. I think the polls are off. All I know is I'm working on hedging all my investments just in case I'm right.

& BTW the wealth gap between the super rich and everyone else has exploded over the last 8 years. The rich have gotten astronomically richer. So the Democrats (the party it appears you love) have boosted them into a new stratosphere (although to be fair, it would've happened with the GOP too). If you haven't noticed, it's trickling up, not down.
For six of Obama's eight years he's been dealing with an adversarial Congress, to the point where if he came out and said he wanted to expand the military, they'd be against it. The GOP has no desire whatsoever to address income inequality - in fact, they favor tax plans that will just make it worse. What is he supposed to do in that environment? He's not a dictator.

"Because people might hear"

When are all the closeted Trumpettes coming out? Only in November?

It is not just one poll having trump losing it is multiple polls using different matrix.  Trump is going to win the south and a few fly over states, but he will not win in any state that Romney lost. You could even say that we as a nation are very ingrained in how we vote and this is most likely due to the ultra partisan atmosphere that has come about in the last 10 years or so.  Some say that the rise of the Tea Party Republicans and the Alt- right movement have brought back the days of the pre-civil rights movement as far as voting patterns go. Look at the states that got the  highest percentage of votes for George Wallace and you can see that those states are the ones supporting Trump.

The Justice Department sued his company ― twice ― for not renting to black people

When Trump was serving as the president of his family’s real estate company, the Trump Management Corporation, in 1973, the Justice Department sued the company for alleged racial discrimination against black people looking to rent apartments in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.

The lawsuit charged that the company quoted different rental terms and conditions to black rental candidates than it did with white candidates, and that the company lied to black applicants about apartments not being available. Trump called those accusations “absolutely ridiculous” and sued the Justice Department for $100 million in damages for defamation.

Without admitting wrongdoing, the Trump Management Corporation settled the original lawsuit two years later and promised not to discriminate against black people, Puerto Ricans or other minorities. Trump also agreed to send weekly vacancy lists for his 15,000 apartments to the New York Urban League, a civil rights group, and to allow the NYUL to present qualified applicants for vacancies in certain Trump properties.

Just three years after that, the Justice Department sued the Trump Management Corporation again for allegedly discriminating against black applicants by telling them apartments weren’t available.

"Hillary Clinton is a bigot, who sees people of color only as votes, not as human-beings worthy of a better future,” Trump said.

In fact, discrimination against black people has been a pattern in his career

Workers at Trump’s casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey, have accused him of racism over the years. The New Jersey Casino Control Commission fined the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino $200,000 in 1992 because managers would remove African-American card dealers at the request of a certain big-spending gambler. A state appeals court upheld the fine.

The first-person account of at least one black Trump casino employee in Atlantic City suggests the racist practices were consistent with Trump’s personal behavior toward black workers.

“When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, told the New Yorker for a September article. “It was the eighties, I was a teen-ager, but I remember it: they put us all in the back.”

Trump disparaged his black casino employees as “lazy” in vividly bigoted terms, according to a 1991 book by John O’Donnell, a former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.

“And isn’t it funny. I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it,” O’Donnell recalled Trump saying. “The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”

“I think the guy is lazy,” Trump said of a black employee, according to O’Donnell. “And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

Trump has also faced charges of reneging on commitments to hire black people. In 1996, 20 African Americans in Indiana sued Trump for failing to honor a promise to hire mostly minority workers for a riverboat casino on Lake Michigan.

"Hillary Clinton is a bigot, who sees people of color only as votes, not as human-beings worthy of a better future,” Trump said.
Have you ever noticed that Trump frequently accuses other people of possessing traits that are often attributed to him?

He pinky-swears it!
He's going to create jobs and remove the illegals that take their jobs. 58% of African American youth are unemployed.

Boot the illegals and suddenly there are a lot of jobs available for these black kids.

Poverty is a huge driver of crime, working will deter kids from crime. Reducing crime and increasing wealth will help turn these communities around.

But please, continue to ignore the substance and find opportunities to make jokes instead.

Hilarious to see Trump getting dumped by the fringe lunatics the moment he's started trying to become a serious candidate. That party needs serious help.

That doesn't make Clinton any less of a bigot, viewing blacks as votes instead of people!
What does this even mean? How do you quantify a person's viewpoint?

Also, doesn't this completely contradict your previous claim that Hillary just wants to spend taxpayer money on programs to help black people? If she just viewed blacks as votes, why would she want to help them?

I'm not opposed to using affirmative action to employ these African American kids in jobs previously held by illegal immigrants.

In fact, I wouldn't even be against the government kicking back tax benefits to companies that did just this.

How to reduce crime? Take potential criminals off the street. How to reduce crime? Give potential criminals something to lose!

It's win-win.

The Democratic system is a failure for African Americans. Welfare does not help the situation.

If you give a man a fish, etc.

That figure is misleading in that Trump is including AA kids not looking for work who are in high school and college.

"If you apply Trump’s definition to white youth, 49 percent are “unemployed.”
