adios.  have a good one.
These are people who think that Hondurans and Guatemalans are going to bypass the 1000 mile stretch of southern Texas that is closest to them and travel and extra 1000-2000 miles west just so they can cross in AZ and go to the Phoenix Children's Hospital for free healthcare and maybe pick up some In & Out Burger afterwards.

Here is a map for anyone who seriously wonders about illegal immigration paths or thinks it is racist to assume Hispanics in AZ are Mexicans.

The simplest explanation:

  • People from Central and South America are going to cross into the US in the southern tip of TX. These are the RGV and Laredo (TRIGGER WARNING: Breitbart link) sectors of the Border Patrol. If you remember the news stories from a few years ago, this is where the Central American refugees were showing up by the tens of thousands. Apparently Cubans are now crossing in this south TX region as well, makes sense as it is closest to home. Catch a flight/boat, cross the border, get refugee status, start stacking dat government cheese.
  • People from Mexico typically cross at the nearest border to their home state. Living in AZ/NM/W TX for 15 years 80% of the illegals (and Mexican nationals) that I have met have been either from Sonora or Chihuahua. The rest have been from Sinaloa and Jalisco, maybe a few from Baja. I have yet to meet an illegal from Cancun or DF. Or from Honduras or Guatemala. I'm sure there are a few in the US SW but it is reasonable to assume most illegal Hispanics you meet out here are from the western Mexican states. Just as it would be reasonable to assume most illegal Hispanics in Miami are from PR/DR/Cuba/Haiti (Hi Hillary!)/etc.
Imagine you are going to walk/hitchhike to Canada to cross the border. If you live in New England or the South are you going to walk, ride in a truck with 50 other people, etc all the way to British Columbia (granted the weed and nature there are some of the best on the continent) or are you going to make a line for Quebec/Ontario?

Surprised [not surprised at all] that nobody mentioned the fact that Reuters, who was providing the video link for all of the news outlets today, cut their feed while Trump was being blessed by the black pastor. The guy filming was not happy and willing to face the consequences and keep filming, but the higher ups cucked him and cut to black.

Reuters doesn't want a black pastor on TV blessing a white man. Sounds pretty racist to me.

I think it was more because they didn't want to accidentally see him dancing anymore

Donald Trump has always been a symbol of Greatness in the black community
Funny how most of the top rappers of the past 20 years reference Trump in a positive light and the ones who have criticized him are the no name wanna be gangstas just trying to capitalize on stupid SJWs. Reminds me of the media.

The OGs know what's up.

Saturday appears to have been another strong day for Trump in this thread.  The tide has turned and the haters and race baiter are in the run.

HIPPA violation?  REALLY?  3C's lost all credibility to slam Trump's or his supporters intelligence.

My friend is Mexican.   He had insurance.   According to his nurse 9 out of 10 did not.  Way to throw the racist card out there though.   stay classy.
You brought up the race of the people in front of your friend.  Race is irrelevant in this matter.  I work for a hospital in Baltimore and we get tons of whites and black who come to our ER without insurance.  It's not a race problem, it's a socio-economic problem.

Using christo wanna-be beavercleaver response: :lmao:

PR? Cuba?

You might want to check immigration policies of eople from these places if you don't want people to think you are agaist Hispanics in general.

Yes, yes.  Stating that people with higher levels of education have better economic outcomes is just outrageous.  And racist.
But that's not what you stated. You said they'd be more likely to have a positive impact on society than the uneducated, not that they have better economic outcomes (for themselves)

I'm looking forward to the 2040 election landscape, where automation in the workforce is ubiquitous and a hot-button issue. I predict that blue-collar workers will come together with illegal immigrants to protest/call for the deportation of robots. I foresee myself being pro-robot.
This is probably tongue in cheek but it's a real issue. Automation and general efficiency have reduced the need for blue collar jobs but also allowed the owners to reap more and more of the profits (total, and as a percentage) while giving less and less to the workers.

"Capitalism" is the true third rail of our politics but it's actually not a sustainable economic model once you get to a certain point. Trump's personal success is actually a good example of this.  No politician will ever be allowed to say it, but if we don't come up with a post-Capitalist economy there will inevitably be mass poverty, disease, and revolution.

My friend's dentist told him confidentially that he hates the Irish because they try to talk the whole time while the dentist is trying to work. Distracting!

He did mention that some of them are good flossers though.

With all this positive love of the Orange Droolius I was expecting the odds to reflect it.  Nope.  Hillary -365 and Droolius +270.

Follow the money.

While I would love to think Vegas were infallible in this sense in the primaries even when Trump had a massive lead and looked obvious to be elected Rubio (and even Jeb just a few days before he dropped out) were way ahead of him in the odds to win the Republican nomination.

Who knows which polls you are reading. Regardless those numbers suck so I think we have discovered Donald's sudden interest in the black community.

His new regime leaders who have him trained like a puppet dog will have him taking about Kwanzaa soon.
Up next Trump in a dashiki at an old school hip hop show.

The new team has Trump trained well.

Of all the reasons to dismiss Trump, you picked the worst one to use since the bettors were spectacularly wrong just recently in politics when it came to Brexit.

I worry about the nationwide polling too, but:

https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/poll-hillary-clinton-leads-donald-trump-north-carolina-pennsylvania-email-questions-linger/?client=safari

Hillary by 8 in Pennsylvania, by 4 in Notth Carolina. If she wins either of these states, it's over.
Its already over.  I know you're a political junkie that wishes every single day in this election matters all the way to November, but it won't.  Hillary has already won.

The Brexit polling was very close until the very end and it would be similar to a single close state going for Trump.  For Trump to win he'd need about a dozen Brexits.

Again, that walls going to stop the tunneling into the US exactly how?  Orange Droolius is not a deep thinker, which plays beautifully for his voters.

And aren't there rivers and such? How do you build a wall in a river? Also there's this little problem of private property and Indian reservations. Guess we just take people's land away from them.

"Betting odds mean nothing because sometimes an underdog wins!" :lmao:
In all seriousness, betting odds are geared to make money off of public perception.  That tends to pick winners pretty well in sports but in politics?  Are they really a good indication there?  This seems to be doubly true with outsiders like Trump as the people betting on politics are typically very out of touch with the, ahem, "people" that would end up voting for someone like Trump.

Looking back at the betting odds for the Republican nominee after the first debate it is almost literally an exact reverse order of the way things played out.  That is, you probably couldn't have come up with something less predictive of the outcome if that's what you were trying to do.

Bush: 2/1
Walker: 5/1
Kasich: 10/1
Huckabee: 12/1
Rubio: 12/1
Christie: 15/1
Trump: 15/1
Cruz: 25/1

According to Trump, underground sensors.  You should watch that part of the speech when he announced it, he looked so pleased with himself.
If that's an option, why not use above ground sensors too. Maybe Trump could put collars on all the rapists Mexicans and just use invisible fence technology. Works well for my dogs.

I understand your point, but you do realize each state is not independent of each other, they are highly correlated. As example, no offshore/vegas book, or bookie would allow you to parlay either candidate winning a state with another state.

Trump most likely will not win, but if he did win, your comparison is not a good one.
