All that means is that there are a boatload of sissified cowards reporting people on this message board. Which in turn is why the numbers of board members has cratered. This place is dying and the mods bowing to the reporters is the #1 reason. It's kinda funny that they are cutting their own throats with your assistance.
Yeah...Trump supporters never reported anyone. :lmao:

You all live in a complete alternate reality...completely devoid of facts to support your inane thoughts like this.

Which is why you think its everyone that has come unglued rather than looking in the mirror.

Well, you're a member of the OLD conservative movement, the ones who believed free trade was a priority (as well as both an economic and moral good.) I was part of that movement too, but it's gone away.

Free trade is under assault by extremists in both parties. Moderates like Kasich, Obama and (perhaps) Hillary Clinton mean to keep it alive but they are in the minority these days.
I'm old and conservative and I never believed free trade was good for American manufacturing.

Hillary starting this is laughable. Trump running with it for years is the really sad part. Why did it take him so long? He's such an ####### he still believed it because he read about it on Brietbart and thought it's real news.

You know he will hint at it in probably 2 days that he still wasn't wrong and it's true.

I would never call you or anyone else a dishonorable person, but I do believe your support of Donald Trump is a dishonorable decision. The Birther movement, his accusations about American Muslims cheering on 9/11, his treatment of the Khans, his mockery of a handicapped journalist, and a host of other instances are far beyond the pale of any other candidate in modern history, including Hillary Clinton.
Hillary would call him deplorable, do you disavow her bigoted insult towards everyday americans?

Clearly the Russians provided the proof he was asking for.

Wow. This is really sad.

I like you Bueno but you have embarrassed yourself with some of your posts today, blaming Obama for the Birther movement and now this.
Obama is to blame and there were American Muslims that celebrated 9/11. Deal with it, because it is true. CNN is a credible news source and it is their report.

Then you've never been a believer in free enterprise or capitalism, and thus you've never been an economic conservative. Sorry.
What does capitalism have to do with trade restrictions? Capitalism is simply using money invested to make more money. As to free enterprise, no fiscal conservative believes in 100% free trade. We have never had free trade.

I'm honorable. I'm supporting Trump. If you can look past all of Hillary's negatives but not Donald's, you may be very biased.

My perspective is that Republicans tried nominating decent, honorable, good men and they were not able to compete. So this time we nominated a prize fighter who is willing to get just as dirty as the competition. For me it is going to easier to vote for Trump than it was to vote for the last two options the Republican establishment gave us.
There's only two choices?

If you really believe that taxing a product made overseas for sale in America is a conservative policy, then I don't know what to tell you.  And this policy has been proven time and time again to lead to nothing but inflation.

Who stands to benefit most in an inflationary environment?  Could it be perhaps someone holding tons of debt, nah, couldn't be.  Could it be someone whose primary assets are real estate, nah.

poke holes

Does anyone actually know anybody who doesn't live in a trailer and missing half their teeth who was sticking to the birther stuff? Trump was sticking with this until last week apparently. What a guy!

Tim why aren't you disavowing Hillary's bigoted comment about millions of Americans being deplorable?
1. It wasn't bigoted. I don't think you understand what the word means.

2. I have been very critical of her about those comments. In fact, I believe I was the first one here to criticize her over them (well before Trump did.)  I found them both wrong AND politically dumb. And they have hurt her.

3. She has since apologized for the comments- something that Trump never does.

4. The main reason that I don't normally respond to you, dfsguy, is that I don't really find your posts worthy of sustained debate and discussion.

:lmao:

Did you even bother to read the article you posted beyond the conpletely disingenuous headline?

GTFO with this nonsense.
Yes, if Hillary fired the guy then she's pretending she knew nothing about it.  Everyone could see how bad an actress she was in the 60 Minutes interview.

I see the the other way: not taxing a product made overseas leads to product dumping and loss of jobs.

I'm not sure anyone still believes the birther stuff. Again, had Obama been more transparent right from the beginning, this would have been an issue only for the lunatic fringe.

It's absolutely shocking that Trump can put out the most liberal left leaning protectionist garbage, and is able to skirt it with the birther stuff.  Not to mention he's trying to discredit a fed which has been the most right-friendly fed in anyone's lifetime.

Never in the history of ever has a country been able to enforce a GDP by instituting tariff based controls.  If you want to see what happens when you do that stuff look at Brazil in the 1980s.   Yet people think this guy is conservative, a republican, or even knows what the hell he's talking about.

The reality is he's a lib in Alt-Right clothing.  People are so busy cheering for the alt-right agenda that his liberal policies are flying under the radar.
It's doesn't make sense to frame him in political terms - he's a narcissistic sociopath.

Case in point his speech today in which he offered no apology for any of his prior birther comments - and saying now that Obama was born in USA is not an apology.

People who are into conspiracy theories are like retirees who love to gossip about their neighbors.

Blitzer: Someone supporting Hillary Clinton was trying to promote this so-called Birther issue? What happened?

Doyle: So we — absolutely, the campaign nor Hillary did not start the Birther movement, period, end of story there. There was a volunteer coordinator, I believe, in late 2007, I believe, in December, one of our volunteer coordinators in one of the counties in Iowa — I don’t recall whether they were an actual paid staffer, but they did forward an email that promoted the conspiracy.

Blitzer: The Birther conspiracy?

Doyle: Yeah, Hillary made the decision immediately to let that person go. We let that person go. And it was so, beyond the pale, Wolf, and so not worthy of the kind of campaign that certainly Hillary wanted to run.
She fired the person, now you think she needs to publicly apologize for the person?  It would have gone away if it wasn't for the kooks.

He really is tremendous. The only winner we can be sure of so far in this election is the Post.

Given that he had was able to serve the maximum time in office that a President can and would be elected to a third term if it was possible I'd say he'd play it perfectly.

Retirees who gossip about their neighbors need to start changing the salt and pepper shakers every Wednesday so they have something more productive to do.

Trump should insist Johnson and stein get included in the debate. Make Hillary play catchup or insist they don't make it, as they'll carve more into her vote. Can't lose gambit

The more I think about those Medal of Honor winners who stood there and endorsed Donald Trump, the more pissed off I'm becoming. This is the same Donald Trump who calls for torturing our enemies, for seizing the oil in the Middle East ("to the victor the spoils"), for murdering the relatives of suspected terrorists. These are clear violations of the Geneva Convention and the laws that the United States set up at Nuremberg. Trump has also threatened to walk away from the NATO agreement, which would be a breaking of our sacred honor as a nation.

For ANY member of the American military- much less a Medal of Honor winner- to stand up and publicly support this man is disgraceful. There's simply no other word that applies.

:lmao: If you don't vote for who tim tells you to vote for, even if you have a Medal of Honor, you are disgraceful. GOT IT?

This is absolutely gold. :lmao:

According to a rumor I heard from a Politico reporter on the radio, Kellyanne Conway (always the smartest person in Trump's campaign) proposed exactly this. But Trump refused. He doesn't want to share the spotlight. He regards these debates as the supreme moment of his life up to this point. (That's also why he was so upset about the NFL games. It's not just a political calculation for him- he wants the whole world to watch him.)
