Ted Cruz should call a press conference and then speak for 30 minutes about some product that he is peddling (Campbell's soup, perhaps) and then at the very end he'll say "I endorse the Republican nominee for President -- period."

Hitler didn't win though, right?  He lost the presidential election, then seized power on his own after Hindenburg died.  Unless you're thinking that Hilary is going to win and, nominate Trump as VP, then subsequently die to pneumonia, so that Trump can seize power that way...

The source added that U.S. officials in the briefings indicated that intelligence reports about the adviser’s talks with senior Russian officials close to President Vladimir Putin were being “actively monitored and investigated.”

A senior U.S. law enforcement official did not dispute that characterization when asked for comment by Yahoo News. “It’s on our radar screen,” said the official about Page’s contacts with Russian officials. “It’s being looked at.”

This Russian stuff is just incredible.

Fox News would literally be calling for Hillary to be tried for treason, and hanged when found guilty.

Such a weird election. My brother and I were talking about this the other day; this election is making the strangest bedfellows one can imagine.

Michael Morell, the former acting director of the CIA, made the accusation in a New York Times op-ed published on Friday. In it, Morrell accuses Donald Trump of being an “unwitting agent” of Russia. An “unwitting agent,” in spy terms, means someone who has been tricked or manipulated into serving as a foreign operative without knowing it.

ETA : But,  it's also something of a glimpse into the Trump mindset.  If $1 million from your father is nothing (to say nothing of $200 million inheritance)  then how much is the" substantial" amount of Russian money that has been invested in Trump?

This along with his insulting of people in the military and their families is when I realized there's absolutely no limit to how far people will take their partisan bias.  Never in a million years would I have believed Republicans would abide that.
