Starting to get to some of the real reasons he hasn't released his taxes. It appears that he was directing payments owed to him for appearances and whatnot to his charitable foundation ... but not paying income taxes on that, as is required by federal law.

It's a great read, by the way.  You're basically along for the ride as the reporter busts Trump's fraudulent campaign in the act:
 

Bottom line, he's a tax cheat. I'm not sure that's the primary reason he's ducking them- I think it's more about him being embarrassed that he's not nearly as rich as he says.  But this is why people ask to see taxes. Trump has been cheating the government out of revenue (civil penalties at a minimum, possible criminal tax evasion charges) in addition to misleading charities about the source of the donations they've received and then charging them to use his facilities, and his taxes would prove it.

FWIW...Ebers is a ticket broker, so it looks like Trump was selling tickets through him and then funneling the money back through the Foundation.  

If he was a not a billionaire, it would be called money laundering.

i can't tell if this is supposed to be a joke or not.  trump has been saying absolutely terrible things from the moment he became a prominent public figure and, certainly, from the moment his campaign started.  and yet, here we are.  and media pundits keep speculating that this will be the time he says something he just can't recover from.  or, surely, this next John Oliver bit absolutely EVISCERATING him will be the wake-up call America needed, and trump will plummet in the polls.  i mean... no?  we have an entire debate season from the republican primaries of trump acting like an ###, and he won.  amazing that you guys don't get this.

On my phone and heading home but will type up more later. I think Clinton will win but it shouldn't be this close.

Trump is really awful and it's crazy and disappointing to me that people want this man to be our leader. He has no redeeming qualities other than he's an entertaining troll. 

I think Clinton could be an effective president but she isn't a great candidate and understand why people aren't excited to vote for her. I also get that she has all kinds of baggage but IMO and this is where many disagree that a lot of it is for lack of a better term trumped up and over blown D.C. created faux scandals. 

Just my opinions of course I can be wrong on many things that are base on these opinions. I am certain that I am right about Trump though.
