Anyone else notice that Trump supporters are called "thin-skinned", "dangerous", "ignorant", "stupid", "frightening", "sad"......the list goes on & on.

what the hell?

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump does end up winning even though the polls show him trailing, a lot of people are not going to be announcing that they are voting for him with all this ridiculous and unamerican name calling going on.
Isn't that a bit hypocritical that these are the same people complaining about PC culture?  Should we start calling them Fat Pigs instead?

Who has called Trump supporters thin skinned? Trump is thin skinned. Hannity seems to be thin skinned when it comes to Kelly. Don't think anyone has called his supporters dangerous, frightening, or sad either. Ignorant and stupid have certainly been used. I wouldn't go there, there's enough stupidity to go around on both sides of the aisle.

Since name-calling is unamerican I guess you'll be casting your vote for "Crooked Hillary" next month, eh?

Ah yes... condescending again. :lmao:
Post something more substantial than a cheap one-liner or an emoticon then. You bring literally nothing to the table. Ever. Now go ahead and get the last word and then crow about it in the FB group. I'm sure that it's hugely gratifying for you. Or at least it will be until November.

Yeah, they don't care about any of that at all. They're only concerned with facilitating their own re-election next time around. And to be fair, I'd bet that their Democratic counterparts would behave exactly the same way if things were reversed.
I agree it seems that all politicians have evolved into constantly running for re-election first and then doing work for their constituents as a distant second (or third to lobbiests).

I'll go there. Voting for a completely unqualified and openly bigoted reality TV star in a Presidential race is dangerous, stupid, ignorant, and pretty much any other negative adjective that you want to throw in there. And I'll be saying the same about the left when they nominate Kim Kardashian because she "knows how to build a business."

No matter what is posted you can't help yourself other than to be condescending. It's who you are. Oh...it's Pie night with the group so it will be a great night.

Doing something stupid doesn't make one stupid.

Pays taxes, hasn't filed bankruptcy four times, doesn't hate Hispanics and Muslims...already better than Trump.

I've read accounts of first-time Congresspeople arriving in Washington, ready to legislate, only to have the party send them to their office and handed a list of wealthy people to call and solicit donations from.  Members of our legislative branch reduced to cold-calling like the new guy at the brokerage.  After you prove you can close some Glengarry donors, maybe then you get invited to talk about legislation.  Happens on both sides of the aisle.

Depends on just how stupid that something is, and on the potential consequences involved, really. Given that in this case the (even if unlikely) consequences pretty much involve potential global economic catastrophe (defaulting on our debt) and arming the Saudi royal family with nuclear weapons, I'll stand on "yeah, they're stupid."

What's weird is that they all complain about it but when it comes time to actually do something about it, a sizable number of them shoot it down.

And I'll go with judge each person on their merits or lack thereof.

The letter might be new but at least some of the signatories had previously said they weren't voting Trump.
Yeah I think the phrasing is the big news there. They don't pull any punches.

Of course it's easy to do something like that when you're no longer in office and Trump's poll numbers are slipping. I wonder how the few people currently in office who actually did it from the get-go will come out of this if Trump loses. Could turn Jeff Flake and Ben Sasse into stars.

Yeah, it might. I was personally very surprised that Cruz caved and kissed the ring. Not because I think he has any principles, but just because it seems really dumb to come crawling back with his tail between his legs after what he did at the convention. Bewildering IMO.

Your own candidate doing similar things insulting people.

What other hobbies do you have besides collecting injustices?

Uh 2.5 million non college educated whites did not vote in FL last time vs 725K Hispanics, that's significant.

eta - However Trump has no data OP and no ground game so he has no way to getting these people to the polls and really he doesn't seem to care.
If he loses he will blame it on a rigged system (liberal media), but he should really look in the mirror, inexcusable that he had a virtually non-existent ground game so late in the race. Does he really think he was going to tweet his way to the White House? And if he doesn't, it is everybody else's fault?

First hire? Those campaign managers and staffers weren't hires? Besides that, wasn't it his kids or son-in-law that basically chose (convinced him to choose) Pence?
Granted we don't have full access to the Trump campaign... but our best understanding is Trump wanted Christie, but Ivanka vetoed it because Christie sent her father-in-law in jail.  Melania didn't want Pence for reasons that haven't been specified, but suspect it's over Pence's aggressively anti-LGBT stances.  We do know Trump was having second thoughts about naming Pence VP while on his way to the announcement and wanted to cancel it to talk it over another day, but was convinced to go forward.

“I don’t care how sick you are. I don’t care if you just came back from the doctor and he gave you the worst possible prognosis, meaning it’s over. You won’t be around in two weeks. Doesn’t matter. Hang out ’til November 8. Get out and vote. And then … we will love you and remember you always.”

Donald Trump Urges Terminally Ill People To ‘Hang Out’ And Stay Alive Long Enough To Vote For Him
And be sure to laugh at the people who have to hang around for this ####-show on your way out.

Guy is already a star

I remember fondly the days when simply putting a helmet on and riding in a tank could sink a campaign, or getting a little too shrill at a rally could brand you as crazy as you rolled off states names.

I guess the one thing we have to move forward is that gaffe led campaigns are now just daily derp.

Only "establishment" politicians are susceptible to those types liberal media take-downs.
