You can watch Trump's eyes reading.

See you at the debate ... my god do I hope he goes on a constant attack with the bill clinton stuff in a town hall debate.

He hardly seemed contrite in this so-called "apology" video.

More like defiant, angry and called this a "distraction" A forced and insincere apology.

Paraphrasing:

"I've never pretended to be someone I'm not."

"Anyone who knows me, knows that those comments don't reflect who I am."

Those two statements which were about ten seconds apart seem contradictory. I know this was a carefully crafted statement, so the contradiction seems odd. Perhaps I misheard things.

We agreed that hysteria and overwrought condemnation is the fitting response to sexual misbehavior type activity.  One president was even put through the impeachment process for getting smoked while in office.  Depends on the level of Shame, Shame and the timing of the events as to how it all plays out.
Behavior is behavior, shaming is a totally different issue than behavior disqualifying someone from office.

That guy suuuuuuuuucks at reading a teleprompter. How could anyone watch that video and derive any meaning from it? Those clearly weren't his words and they still didn't make that much sense.

Probably recorded earlier but just saw on CNN:

Scottie Nell Hughes: defends Trump vociferously.

Ana Navarro: repeats Trump's words (using the p-word several times)

Hughes: "CAN YOU PLEASE STOP SAYING THAT WORD!? MY DAUGHTER MIGHT BE WATCHING!

:lmao: :wall: :loco:

Now back from commercial and Ana is gone. Probably couldn't take it anymore.

Then we don't agree.  Neither Trump nor Clinton were disqualified because of them heeding the call of their basic human nature.  Trump was disqualified because he was disinterested, polarizing, not very bright, probably a strong believer in white supremacy and a few other things.

Bill, otoh, Was qualified because he was a policy wonk, a serious student, able to recognize compromise when he saw it, a negotiator who could be persuaded there is an alternative.

Which one would survive a shaming challenge?

How can these people live with themselves, do they have no soul?

I have trouble with my browser for most links/ Here is another one although not as good as quality as earlier ones:

I love at the end the nonplussed Don Lemon saying after Navarro's tirade: "We will be right back."

Found a good quality link of the entire segment at Media Matters:

He's going to go full Kamikaze. He said so already. He'll only hurt himself, fortunately or not.

America loves to tear people to shreds over candid video (see Taco Bell guy vs. Uber guy, Cecil the Lion killer, Ray Rice, on and on ad infinitum).

I can seriously see him winning zero states after this (maybe not Alabama).
Joe Namath on mnf

He'll win Idaho. :moneybag:

Utah is kinda interesting.   538 says that Trump has a 98% chance of winning the state, yet most of the prominent Republicans have called on Trump to step down.   Is it possible that the electorate there isn't being truthful with pollsters, and that's going to be a surprise blue (or Libertarian) state?

This is the October 7 surprise.

There is more and worse than this to come.
I think that the Dems learned from the Trump post-convention meltdown that he was extremely vulnerable, and the Dems have slow played this election since then.   We're thirty days out, and the #### is going to start to fly.

He's still the more upstanding and qualified candidate.
Dude, I have you on "ignore", but I checked this post b/c there were so few Trumpkins posting that I felt the need to read.

The next thirty days are going to be a nightmare for you Trumpkins.   Good luck with that.   Ultimately you'll probably isolate yourself from the general public and spend your pathetic existence seething that the election was stolen by illegal immigrants and electoral fraud.

Really you are a bankrupt person If u equate bill's cheating with Hillary.

You are a horrible person.

Hillary got mad at those who he cheated with?  Come on.  What woman doesn't.

Disgusting to make it seem like Hillary is complicit.

Screw you and ur phoney actions when you go to church.  Trumps base.  Disgusting.

I wonder what these girls think.
You shouldn't be surprised, but they aren't huge fans of Donald Trump anymore.

linky

The pre-teen dance troupe that briefly became a national sensation after they performed for Donald Trump are suing the self-proclaimed billionaire’s presidential campaign for stiffing them.
The USA Freedom Kids went viral after performing at Trump’s Jan. 13 rally in Pensacola, Florida. Dressed in bedazzled American flag costumes, the three pre-teen girls performed “Freedom’s Call,” an upbeat reimagining of a World War I propaganda song. “Cowardice! Are you serious? / Apologies for freedom, I can’t handle this,” the song begins.
The USA Freedom Kids said in a newly filed lawsuit the Trump campaign broke verbal agreements for performances at two events and refused to pay even a $2,500 stipend for the group’s travel expenses.

“We are not able to pay the girls or cover travel,” Stephanie Scruggs, a regional field director wrote Jeff Popick, USA Freedom Kids founder and father to one of the girls in a Jan. 5 email presented as evidence in the suit. “However we have coordinated with the event space to allow the girls to set up a table and pre-sell their album, shirts, ect if this is helpful to you.” (The Trump campaign did not return a Daily Beast request for comment.)
Popick agreed, reasoning that the group could net more than $2,500 in merchandise sales, but the rally was “chaos,” Popick told The Daily Beast.
There was no merchandise table, and it wouldn’t have mattered if there was one: Security didn’t allow the girls to bring any of their merchandise into the Pensacola Bay Center. They left it outside in the parking lot, where all of it—the T-shirts, the CDs, the patriotic posters—was stolen while the girls performed their act, Popick says.
Not a huge fan of this act, but they are just kids.  They don't need to be squashed by Trump, but I'm sure not paying their travel for these child mascots is just "business" like not paying all the other people in his business relationships.  There really is no limit to how low he goes.

Forced, insincere, whatever. The shocking thing is that it was an actual apology. That's his first one ever, as far as I know.
