Man, I tried to get ‘Muth in TEP & dude rejected every offer.

This is a very reasonable price for Muth+DJ.

Kind of crazy someone throws in Freiermuth and a defense on top for just a single late 1st.

Next year the guy can franchise DJ Moore and likely get a 1st round pick back and end up getting the other stuff for free.

This is how that guy does it every year every league I am in he waits for teams to fall out of the playoff race and gets bargain deals in trades then the next year if needed he will retrade them for similar or even more value.

While I like the BTJ+Cook side, I believe it’s closer than you have it - the 1st & early 2nd are nice picks. Cooks value is taking a hit with the emergence of Ray Davis, making Cook less of a league-winner than folks projected, and more of a matchup/game-script dependent asset.

So it comes down to Olave Vs BTJ. I’ve seen flashes from Olave - I know he’s lost a lot of shine from the FF community, but dude is capable of elite level play. BTJ has looked great, but has yet to dominate snap share. With Kirk hurt & Davis an afterthought he’s gonna eat this year (once healthy) but it’s hard to say whether Olave or BTJ goes on to the better career.

I’d say 60% chance the BTJ side wins this deal in the long run - I could see buying Olave + the picks for that price too though. Seems like chances are good at a top 5 1st rounder in 2026 as well.

Is Davis really emerging...he had a very good game when Cook was out but he has combined for 11 carries for 70 yards (with a TD) and 1 reception on 1 target in the next two games since Cook came back...I really don't think that is anything a Cook Owner did not already have baked into what they think of him and what Davis might do.

Same guy has Trevor Lawrence, who’s ranked right about where Dak is dynasty wise, or slightly higher actually. Not sure how attractive Dak is right now, but I can look at rosters and see what guys may be obtainable.

I would rather have Brown over a late 1st in a 16 team league. That late first gives you someone you hope is at least Brown and a whole lot more risky, especially in a 16 team league. A late 1st in a 16 team league equates to a 2nd in a 12 team league. Let that sink in a moment.

I should have smash accepted it but told my friend (and probably for good of the league) it was a big time overpay. We will see if any trade happens, but felt it was the right thing to do at the time.

Got my buddy into a league with me and I'm kinda beating him over the head with this: "If you don't inquire about trades, you're never going to REALLY improve your team"

With that said, was just trying to see what a guy would need for a few players and lol he sent an offer that I accepted immediately.

CRIMINAL!

Oh shoot, I worded this VERY terribly haha.

I was having the conversation with my friend, he is NOT in this league haha. And was like kind of taking him through my thought process and told him "I'm gonna text this guy, I have offered 3 trades and he doesnt respond"

So yadda yadda yadda I was telling my friend that he needs to start getting active, b/c if you don't you won't get offered deals like this.

So to be clear (and I really muffed this one) I did NOT make this trade with my friend. I literally was texting the guy "hey I'm interested in these guys" then this crazy offer came through, which I accepted, then told my friend *as evidence* that he really needs to start getting to know the leaguemates, have ongoing convos, be like Howie Roseman basically.

It does make me feel good that so many people thought I was a terrible person for taking advantage of a friend like this, bc I 100% agree with you!

I guess all is well that ends well..He has no qb this week due to byes and injuries so I traded him Stafford for McConkey. Should I feel bad about this one too... no

Team B gets: Courtland Sutton and George Kittle

I am team B. That was this morning. Later today same teams, we did this

Team A gets: Drake Maye, Sam LaPorta, Courtland Sutton
Team B gets: Caleb Williams, Jake Ferguson, Devonta Smith

I am Team B again. Wish we would have just made it one deal, but the first deal led to talks that led to the second.
