Interesting deal...a lot depends on how you value Pearsall which probably varies from Owner to Owner right now...I would go with Flowers as I think there is too much potential downside dealing him for that return...Flowers is a quality player and I think he has a chance to go to another level and at worse we know his floor...Pearsall is a nice piece but I don't like the second piece...Wicks still has some intrigue (especially in a 16-team league) but he definitely did not get a vote of confidence from Green Bay's draft...the 3.14 is nothing special...that second piece needs to be either a better draft pick or a better player for me to take the leap of faith on Pearsall here.

I would go with Mayfield pretty easily...while it is a 1 QB it is a 16-team league so if you do the math you can get yourself into a bad spot if you don't have QB depth...between bye weeks and an injury you could really be put into a corner...Otton and Gesicki are nothing special but this is 1.5 TE and again because it is a 16-team league their value is maxed out in this format...this deal really adds some solid depth to a roster which can be difficult to do in a 16-team league...1.13 is a solid pick but you have no idea what will be available so I'm not sure what the rush is to do this deal...I don't like this deal but it would make a little more sense if the Owner was on the clock and somehow someone unexpected like Warren was available...also, did I mention this is a 16-team league?

The issue I have with Otton is he only seems to get valuable when Godwin or Evans is hurt. Then he vanishes.
I say this as someone who drafted Otton everywhere the last 2 years in redraft.

I agree 100%...such an odd player...when he looks good he looks very good then he just disappears...I cut all ties with him last year...just not falling for it anymore...that being said in this format (16-team 1.5 TE) he has value and is more than a throw-in which he would be in most other formats.

What's the price check on James Conner? Was offered him for a 2026 2nd and 4th.
My RB room consists of Bucky Irving, James Cook, Joe Mixon, Ray Davis, Tank Bigsby, Kareem Hunt and filler.
I won last year, so I am still in win-now mode. Do I need him? There are flex spots that can handle starting him along with my top 3 current backs.

Your RB room looks more like Bucky Cook Mixon and filler....
So with that in mind, and as a defending champion, that feels like a pretty small price to pay to shore up a very strong RB1-4 that can likely carry you most weeks, while also giving you some trade flexibility at the deadline if needed.

I shopped him around and the results were… not good. I was league winner 2023, so same scenario.
So I improvised and dealt a LB & a later pick for Trey Benson. He’s shockingly affordable.

Is there any reason to believe that Benson will be the guy in Arizona? He wasn't impressive at all last season.
No, I'm in to really talented fairly young Rb's who have managed to be solid RB2's in a less then awesome sitauations. TE's who the year before suffering an ACL injury was the TE1 and a WR who has a legit shot to be the #1 option in a Kyle Shanahan offense.
No, not this upcoming year even though Benson should be better and improve. They love Conner, as long as he's healthy he's the guy. Zero danger of being usurped but Benson could spell him a little more.
I used to be way lower then consensus on Conner. Injuries and just seemed like a volume sponge when healthy but he's on a few year stretch of continually being one of the best valued in fantasy and IMO only injuries will stop that from happening again. Benson can hopefully elevate to being a trustworthy handcuff/future piece. I own the duo together in multiple leagues.

Yeah, I only want Benson if I have Conner (which I do). They didn’t take a RB in the draft and I like Benson more than Mercado (and I think AZ does too).

No but he’s the handcuff. Whether he shows enough this year to be his eventual replacement is the gamble if you don’t have Conner.

Awful this guy now has 5 2026 1st rounders and was 2nd place last year (I was first) so not happy to see my biggest thread get 100x better by trading away Tua, Metcalf and 1.13 to land 3 future 1st that are from 3 teams that didn't make playoffs last year

Curious on reaction. In 12 team SF PPR league, I was offered:
2026 1st - likely late 1st
2026 2nd - likely late 2nd
2026 3rd - likely late 3rd
for 2025 1.08.
Currently, my only 2025 pick is 1.08, and I have only my 2026 1st and 2nd round picks in the 2026 draft.
The league began in 2021 and I drafted a win now team. I finished #2 in 2021, #3 in 2022, champ in 2023, and #5 in 2024. I have made a lot of win now trades over the years trying to push to win with my older roster, hence my lack of 2025 and 2026 draft picks. The league scoring and playoff format is unusual; my team was a stronger 2024 contender than the #5 finish implies.
I had been intent on sticking at 1.08 and making a pick, since I have not yet made any 1st round rookie draft picks in this league, having traded all of them away.
Thoughts?

Who are you targeting at 1.08?
Any read on how your league typically drafts and therefore who might be available?
Does your team have any glaring need?
I’d probably keep the pick personally. You can always trade for 2026 picks if your team underperforms this year and you decide to shift focus to 2026 and beyond.

Your reaction to keep the pick fits what I have been thinking.
It is a Superflex league and my team is weak at QB (Purdy, Wilson, Cousins, Howell), but the scoring for QB is lower than normal, in effort to prevent QB from always being the choice in lineups at the SF spot. So this isn't as impactful as it might be in most leagues.
My team is pretty balanced otherwise, but with an older roster (QB Cousins, QB Wilson, RB Henry, RB Kamara, WR Adams, WR Evans, WR Deebo, TE Conklin, TE DIssly). Those aren't all the players or starters, but this is a lot of the nucleus of the roster.
At 1.8, I could draft any of QB, RB, WR, maybe TE and help my roster. I probably need QB and WR more than the other positions, but one can always use a great RB prospect...

I agree with the above. At 1.08 you can add youth to whatever position you need most there.

Without seeing your roster, I'm not sure the 1.08 and a 2026 1st are enough to push you over the top. It might be a good time to start a retool/rebuild. However, I'm not sure giving the 1.08 for a late 2026 1st 2nd and 3rd moves the needle for me. You might want to shop the 1.08 closer to draft day. That 1.08 area, especially in superflex, seems to be a sweet spot for teams wanting to trade. My biggest worry is that the 2026 draft is supposed to be weaker than 2025, other than QB.
Edit after your edit adding roster notes: Keep 1.08, see how your team competes in the first 4-6 weeks and then sell the vets to needy teams if you find you're not going to make a run.

IMO a 2nd and a 3rd isn’t enough juice to move out of the 1st altogether.
A 2nd & 3rd is the price if someone wants to move to 1.08 and drop you to 1.9 — and those would be 2025 picks.
I’d just keep 1.08 and draft BPA.
It’s kind of a sucker offer. Your trade partner is asking for a hamburger today for which he will gladly pay you for on Tuesday. But in this case he’s not paying you for a year. The interest on that 1.08 should be substantially higher than future 2-3.
ETA: and “very late”? Not just no, but hell no.

I got back 1.10 and 3.05
I did this trade before the 1.09 was picked I assumed he would be gone but Judkins fell to me at 1.10
He is a Brown and as a Browns fan that makes me worry so he could suck but I took him non the less.

I think it often pays off to move into a range where someone *might* fall into your lap several picks before that pick is OTC.
For all you know the guy who gave you 1.10 might have also assumed Judkins wouldn’t be there and that’s why he dealt the pick. For the cost of < half a round from late 2nd to mid 3rd I have no problem taking that gamble.

The team who traded for Kamara is "going for it" this year and will likely quit after the year is my guess. The guy trading for Walker is rebuilding and has said so and already sold off many old vets for what he could get. Last year that same guy "went for it" and traded away Higgins and McMillian TB for Kamara but came up short (since I won the title)
