I really like the totality of what you did though I prefer Achane to the Henderson and 2026 side unless you had a healthy confidence that pick was high.

And one of those reasons is Johnny's comments on Henderson below:

He probbly benefits if he isn't. If he get 200 carries and 50 to 75 receptions he will be a RB1. I look for him to break several long plays, both rushing and receiving.

Which effectively means you are hoping Henderson can one day get used and be as effective as Achane. Just getting a year younger for a random first round pick in a pretty weak looking draft is ok, just not enough age difference for me to give the known bird in the hand.

I get it. But I think Henderson will be the better player between the two. Granted, I could be wrong but regardless, think it will be close and willing to take the chance. But yeah, could bite me for sure.

The first rounder is actually not his and I don’t think that team is a playoff team so should be a top 6. Again, I could be wrong.

He had countered this offer with Henderson and a 2026 1st for Achane and a 2026 2nd. BUT he didn't reject and counter, he left my trade open and sent a new trade over. I rejected his offer and about 2 minutes later, he took my offer.

Hated giving up Achane, but I really like Henderson and my team can still compete this year IMO. We will see

I like this trade for you. Some may disagree, but as you already know, I'm a huge Henderson guy and getting the 1st tips the scales for me. Henderson may be a better dynasty player long term anyway. Good job.

Agree about the part that Henderson could be a better player long term. Hoping that by mid-season, Henderson has the bulk of the action in NE. If so, it may not be a huge difference at the end of the season. But again, hard to give up a dynamic player who has proven it at the NFL level.

Plus, this is my first venture into FFPC and want to try different approaches. Made 2 trades in the last couple days and the combined deals are:

IMO Henderson doesn't need a 250 carries to be very valuable. He probbly benefits if he isn't. If he get 200 carries and 50 to 75 receptions he will be a RB1. I look for him to break several long plays, both rushing and receiving.

Difficult to disagree with you on Henderson, but I believe the same could be said about Achane. It's no secret, I am a big Achane fan and for similar reasons a big Henderson fan.

However, I believe Henderson to be the better player between the two and I think I would take the 1st round pick + Henderson for Achane.

Though, I believe Achane to be a top 5 back this year and RB1 potential.

Yeah, thats weird in 1QB. I’m guessing the TE’s must have gone early too? Both those guys available that late at 8&9 is unusual. I’ve seen both those players go as early as #3 in multiple drafts.

It's been unusual for sure. Broncos homer took Harvey at 1.03, another Colorado honk took Hunter at 1.04 (there is a hype train for him but I wouldn't take him there in non-IDP). Then it went Judkins, Warren, Ward, Henderson and then my pick of McMillan at 1.09

I wouldn't give up Chase for BTjr and a 2026 1st. If it was 2026 already and the pick was 2027, with a strong possibility to be a top 3 pick, I would consider it. If that pick had a strong possiblity of being 1.01, then yes, I would have an even stronger chance at considering it.

I wouldn't give up Chase for BTjr and a 2026 1st. If it was 2006 already and the pick was 2027, with a strong possibility to be a top 3 pick, I would consider it. If that pick had a strong possiblity of being 1.01, then yes, I would have an even stronger chance at considering it.

I was speculating wildly. But I still might offer it.

I meant 16. The point is he isn't MVS and 16.3+ fantasy points/game in six total games is pretty damn good.

Carolina: 3=73-1 = 16.3
Dallas: 4-96-1 = 19.6 plus 1.3 rushing = 20.9
Atlanta: 8-83-0 = 16.3 plus 1.4 rushing 17.7
KC: 4-86-1 = 18.6

Look at the targets and catches it is very similar to an MVS type player. He catches a bomb and he is good and when he doesn't he is unstartable. He just started the year hot like the Saints did.

Well Bigsby has a tentative hold on the RB2 spot and Jamo hasn't been good since he hurt his leg. I say this as someone who's rostering Williams, he's probably the guy who I'm dropping to pick up the waiver darling.

Imo it's bird in the hand. Would rather have him on my roster than a mad dash for him later. The possible explosion week is always a better waiver flex play.
