****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (24 Viewers)

FFPC 1QB

Team A gets
J. Hurts
2nd

Team B gets
N Hines
1st
Seems really, really, really light for Hurts.
No that is the 1st all day. I suppose late 1st vs early 2nd projection might swing it but if they're both random it is the 1st by a fair amount. And nothing against Hurts but 1QB it is just too easy to get elite QBs (IMO). Take the 1st.
Interesting. I respectfully disagree. IMO, Hurts on-paper value is “top 4 with QB1 upside”.

Even in 1 QB Hines & a 1st is low. Maybe not by a ton, but it’s low.
Hines could actually be quite valuable in ppr this season.
I don’t see QB1 upside with Hurts unless he takes a quantaum leap as a passer, which I’m not seeing. His rushing stats are great but if he doesn’t improve as a passer he will be replaced in 2023 - could happen in 2022 in fact with Minshew behind him.

I would sell Hurts for a 2023 1st in a start 1qb league in a heartbeat.

Easy decision

I don’t see it either, but when every fantasy writer and their brother is making that proclamation, I will be selling on that narrative.

Busy Week 15 team SF PPR IDP TE premium very flexible lineup with only needing 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE. Start 11 each side

...
Team A trades Christian mcCaffery
Team I trades 2024 1st, 2nd, Kyle Phillips. Strong playoff contender
...
Give me the picks in the majority of those deals. Ridiculously light for CMC and Javonte.

Iirc, he was qb1 overall through week 12 last year, and just got a huge upgrade in weapons with AJB, plus some OL improvements through guys coming back healthy.
I'm on the fence on hurts long term and also wouldn't give up a 1st for just him. But a Lamar Jackson peak fantasy season seems to be in his range of outcomes this season.

I do not think that is true but he was Top 5 - I get the upside.
However, lets see when they play a real defense. I don't think his passing is enough for him to get to No. 1 QB over Josh Allen or Pat Mahomes or Justin Herbert and perhaps a few others. He's a great fantasy QB because of his legs, but he's an average at best NFL QB. If his inability to come from behind, becomes a problem the team will look to upgrade next offseason and it could even happen within this season with Minshew hanging around.

And, yes, it's possible he steps up and becomes at least a Jackson level passer. I just can't see giving up a first to find out in a start 1QB league, especially this early in the season where there is likely other options.

It was through week 11 (I had seen it in a JJ Zachariason tweet awhile back and just verified it Here) but part of that was due to byes. Take out byes and he was back at 5. So not really qb1 overall.
I am not a hurts stan, I just don't think he needs more than marginal improvement as a passer to be in contention for qb1 overall. He was already within a couple points of that and he's got an elite wr1 now. And he's clearly still going to keep running.
But who knows how long it lasts. I'm not convinced he keeps the job past this year either (although him losing it to minshew in season is seems really unlikely to me) which is why I also wouldn't give a 1st for him.

(although him losing it to minshew in season is seems really unlikely to
I think it’s unlikely also - but it’s surely possible if Hurts innacuracy starts costing them games when they play good teams. Many fans think Minshew gives them a better chance already.

Give: CEH, and '23 1st
Get: Etienne, Everett, and '23 3rd

I feel like I over paid to get a piece of Etienne. I'll get over it with time.

Not sure anybody wants to hear about "trades" from the league in which you're the "commissioner."
He promised to create a new rule where the last place team has to mow this guys lawn for the entire off-season if he accepted the trade.

12 team PPR dynasty SF.
Team A trades: Diontae Johnson
Team B trades: Josh Palmer, Romeo Doubs.
Dontae in a landslide.
I like Palmer and Doubs a lot but that’s based on potential- and sometimes that doesn’t come realized. It’s crazy to trade a solid asset for two dart throws.
Yeah - I roster each of them in different formats.

I wouldn’t trade Diontae for that package. Not close.

10 team 1QB PPR. Before week 1, post gunshot news:

Team A sends: R Woods, I Mckenzie, B Robinson

Team B sends: C Claypool, 2023 2nd

Give: CEH, and '23 1st
Get: Etienne, Everett, and '23 3rd

For making the trade, I got one night with his wife. Hopefully she likes Scrabble.

14 Team .. NO PPR .. Standard Scoring

DHenry

for

Montgomery, DSmith, BAiyuk

Seems light for Henry, but to each his own.
I love the idea of selling Henry for 3 players before he really breaks down.

I love the idea of jettisoning these 3 players who seemingly only have name value (with Aiyuk the only one I'd really want)

I hate the idea of dealing either side of this particular trade for the other.

Gave: ‘23 2nd
Got: Mariota, ‘23 4th

Lost Dak and only had Kyler in a SF league.

Good move for you...you settled down your QB situation and did not break the bank doing so...doing SF with only 2 QBs is asking for trouble so you are hopefully covered for the rest of the season although it wouldn't hurt to try and get Ridder if the price is right.

10 team 0.5 PPR startup. Traded Fields and Jameson Williams plus a 2023 1st for Josh Allen and Tyler Boyd and a 2022 2nd

My first year doing dynasty, half the league thinks I fleeced the other guy....I think its overall pretty fair

I'm curious for a justification of trading Diontae for this.
The DJ owner put him on the Trading Block and said he was looking for younger players and/or picks.
Then this trade showed up in my Inbox. He had made lowball offers for Doubs and Palmer before. I just thanked him for the offers and explained why I wouldn't accept the trades. I guess it pays to keep the lines of communication open and not flip out on them for a bad trade offer.

12 man full IDP:

Team A got Gabe Davis and Noah Fant
Team B got Keenan Allen and 2023 2nd from Team A

The IDP aspect makes that 2nd a lot more valuable IMO - premium IDP players, QB's, tier 2 RB/WR. Pickens, Dotson, and James Cook all taken 2.01 to 2.06.

=====

Team A got Jalen Waddle
Team B got Marquise Brown, Montez Sweat, 2023 1st from Team A (early-ish).

Sweat is a solid IDP asset in this league - think WR2/3 value

=====

16 man full IDP:

Team A got Carson Wentz, Devine Diablo
Team B got John Bates, Leo Chenal, 2023 2nd and 2023 5th from Team A

Team B in full rebuild, Chenal is an upside flier LB at best.

Related trades a bit apart, same two teams involved:
=====

Team A gets Joe Burrow, Jevon Holland, 2023 1st and 5th from Team B
Team B gets Kyler Murray, Michael Gallup, Trevon Diggs, Marcus Maye, 2023 1st from Team C, 2023 4th from Team D

=====

Team A gets Rhamondre Stevenson, Jameson Williams, 2023 1st from Team C, 2023 4th from Team B
Team B gets Cam Akers, Skyy Moore, Tim Patrick, 2023 1st and 5th from Team B (getting his own picks back)

Team B is perpetually bad, those picks will be early

Gave: ‘23 2nd
Got: Mariota, ‘23 4th

Good use of Mariota.

I may try to do the same.
:hifive: I just sent MM offers to the Dak and Ridder owners.
The Dak owner just countered my initial offer of MM for his 2nd with that exact offer, MM and a 4th for his 2nd. Not sure where his 2nd will be and my 4th will be 4.01 so I may just hold MM for now to trade later and then probably regret it.

12 Team PPR, start 1-3RB, 2-4WR, 1-3TE

Team A traded James Robinson and Courtland Sutton

Team B traded Ezekiel Elliott and MVS
