****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (9 Viewers)

First trade of the offseason went down in my oldest 12 team 1QB 1PPR:

Team A (2023 champ) gets: Keenan Allen, Mike Evans, 2024 1.11, 2025 1st
Team B (2023 runner-up) gets: DJ Moore, Puka Nacua

Moore and Puka. Two young studs for 2 olds and 2 picks seems like a smash accept.

Not really sure why team A made that deal. The 2x 1st are nice, but one’s 2 years out and the other is the 11th pick.

Too much age/uncertainty with Allen & Evans for that deal to be worth it. Better off keeping the WRs they had.

This is a really interesting trade...a lot going on here...question...who else does Team A have at WR?

While one would assume you could get a handsome sum for Nacua alone, I can see an owner thinking that without Stafford he won't be nearly as valuable.

I get the sell high... Just not sure this is high

My thought is the team giving up the two young WR's will be worse for it in the present and the future.
Yeah I don't really get it either. Team A has Lamb and ARSB so DJM and Puka were his WR3 and 4 (and he has LaPorta), he was set up for a long while at WR and seems like now that he won a ship he wants to start tinkering for the hell of it. Whatever floats your boat I guess...

I’m in a large number of FFPC dynasty leagues. Trading has been really slow going this far. I think with so many owners not renewed yet but also many posting on dynasty depot it’s been hard to get things going. Did pull on off a few days ago.
Trying to get closer to 14 for cut downs

Gave; Zamir, Allgeier, Bateman
Got; 1.09 and Demario Douglas

Maybe try to flip Douglas for future 3rd as well before cut downs

Excellent deal...in that format I have no idea at all what the other guy is thinking...actually I do...he is expecting a big season from Zamir...I do like White but I am not giving up a #1 until I see who else is in that backfield...it could go south very quickly...Bateman is complete luggage...he has no value to me at all...Allgeier is a decent depth piece but in a league where you keep 14 players he is absolutely not a guy I would be targeting and definitely not someone I am giving anything up for...the 1.9 speaks for itself...to get that for this package in your situation is a no-brainer...there is no way this guy should have to add in Douglas...still a bit of an unknown but he looked real good this season and he has a very good opportunity to build on it and it could be significantly...I would 1,000 times rather have him then Bateman and unless you are a Bijan Owner (and that is a big maybe as well) I would much rather have him then Allgeier...unless you just don't have the room for him or feel that you can do more in another trade with the #3 I would rather have Douglas then the third (your potential next move)...for the other guy this could work-out if Zamir ends up as the undisputed #1 or is a definite lead in an RBBC but I don't see the need to do this gamble right now and I really dislike adding-in Pop as well as having Bateman and Allgeier being the add-ons.

1QB FFPC

Gave: Garret Wilson
Got: 1.04, 2.08

Love Wilson's talent, but hate his situation, even with Rodgers playing in 2024.
I probably still prefer Wilson. In a 1QB league you’re looking at Harrison, Nabers, Odunze or Bowers. Is your league TE premium? I wouldn’t trade Wilson for Odunze, nor would I trade Wilson for Bowers if it isn’t TE premium. If it is TE premium, Bowers probably goes 1.2 or 1.3, so you’re back to Wilson for Odunze. I don’t think the 2.08 is much of a bump to do that.

Interesting deal...definitely fair...if Rodgers comes back as Rodgers the guy getting Wilson will have zero regrets...for you a lot comes down to your draft-board and specifically how you feel about Odunze and Bowers because my guess is that is who you will be looking at at 1.4 in a 1 QB league since I assume Harrison and Nabers won't make it there...now I understand the leeriness of Wilson but who is to say you won't feel even worse about either Bowers or Odunze after the draft which is why I would like the 2.8 to be a touch higher but I get why the other guy wouldn't do that after giving up the 1.4...x-factor here is who do you now get to keep because of this deal because I do factor that into the deal...overall it is a fair deal and if you feel that way about Wilson I fully understand why you did it.

Non TEP. I'll be targeting Bowers with the 1.04 and Best Available Player at my original 1.07 pick. I already have a strong stable of WRs and need TE help. IF he's 2/3 as good as promised, I'll be set at TE for years.

Excellent deal for you to get #9 overall for that group, much less "throwing" Douglas in.

Allegier is limited by the obvious. Zamir will be a solid RB at best IMO and Bateman has been a waste of roster space and I don't see that changing with Andrews and Flowers getting first dibs in an offense that doesn't generate huge passing numbers anyway.

Interesting. I always assumed that FFPC dynasty leagues were always TEP.

This is an FFPC league with no 1.5 PPR for TEs? How?

To me, you're trading Wilson and hoping to get a player like Wilson. Bet on talent. I understand the need to clear the roster spot, and that you could always flip the 1.04 for a high caliber player later, but if you don't, then you have to absolutely nail that draft pick just to come close to the value that Wilson already has right now.

Kind of my thought too. I know the QB situation in NY is a negative at this point but QB situations change and hopefully Rodgers is healthy next year and plays a couple more years as he has said is his plan now. Plus, you don't know where the top rookie WRs and TE will end up, so Odunze and Bowers may have poor QB situations too (assuming MHJ and Nabors go 1-2).

That’s tough. It’s maybe a little light for Wilson. I’d at least have waited until the season to see if Rodgers gave him a boost.

I would smash accept at that price to buy Wilson.

I don’t think it’s that lopsided in value, I just strongly prefer the Wilson side.

I tried offering someone a deal centered on ARSB for 1.1 so I can't say I'm totally against the notion of trading a young stud or at least proven player to try and upgrade the position or add in some extra draft capital or open up a spot for another keeper. This might work out for you but I would have held onto Wilson.

If I was going to do a deal like this I'd be more inclined to need 1.3 instead of 1.4 even if we all agree it's a big 4. Just that it's really early in the process and if one of those top 4 should fall out of favor for any reason I like to have a buffer.

What is interesting to me is you are did this trade on notion it's not TEP and would be getting Bowers at 1.4 of a non-TEP league. That would be a hard pass to me, the 1.4 in a non-TEP one start QB league is not that valuable to me.

Have only had one trade in my FFPC leagues, have received zero offers, lot's of rejects.

This is an easy win for you from someone who appears to a little RB deseperate and does like the rookie crop.

Just going to add I have DD on close to all my teams and very few is he slated to be a keeper. When someone posted here they got a third for Mingo, I think it was Da Franchise, I tried getting something similar for DD who I'd take over Mingo. I want to say I'm like 0-7 so far, perhaps you'll have better luck

I've had 7 trades across a dozen leagues. But almost all of them were guys who are constantly sending out offers (which I know because I've gotten a ton of horrendous offers from them).

100% agree. I think Wilson is closer to the 1.01 than the 1.04. He performed well with the worst QB situation in the NFL, even if that marginally improves his production will rise. It can only go up from here.

For reference, WIlson was WR26 in this league. Again, I think he's talented, but I also think he's in a very questionable QB situation for at least the next 3 years. Throw in the limited cap space and I can see the jets relying on a journeyman QB or a mid tier rookie after Rodgers leaves. I have a hard time relying on players who are in such questionable situations. Scary Terry is a great example of that, IMO.

I saw Wilson make some catches that had my jaw on the floor. Dude is a tremendous talent, and apparently really flying under the radar based on your deal.

I’m tempted to check in with the Wilson owner in a couple of my leagues.

I'd take Wilson, but I'm also a Jets fan and have coveted him since the draft that year. I took Breece Hall at 1.1, just in case anybody is wondering. Wilson went 1.7 and I had 1.9 also. Just two spots away.

That said, I can see dumping Jets. The recent articles about their dysfunction lead me to believe it may be another wasted year in the Meadowlands. Ugh. It doesn't sound good.

Was wondering if you were going to check in, Jets fan and all. Are you at all concerned about the 24 and 25 cap situation?

With reference to this Wilson deal, which I obviously take the Wilson side: a few days ago, I offered Smith-Njigba, Higgins and the #11 pick for Wilson. It seemed like a lot to give up and I was hesitant to offer so much, but even that was turned down. Though he seriously considered it.

That's a smash accept, no matter the league. Interesting that it was declined.

He's absolutely fantastic with the ball in his hands on top of it. As a Jets fan, would love to see him with competent QB play and feel this is probably the lowest you'll see his price. I can also see a scenario where he wants to get the hell out of NY when his rookie deal is up - he's actually been fairly vocal about his frustrations with the offense's overall lack of offensing so far in his career.

Are you at all concerned about the 24 and 25 cap situation?

You know, I wasn't until I checked the numbers. I thought we were in reasonable stead with the cap. I generally don't do cap numbers very well (one of my weaknesses as a player and fan of the game), but I thought Rodgers had cut salary to free up room and that we had a decent amount. But 2024 and 2025 don't look like great years for the cap.

I can't imagine we will have C.J. Mosley back at 21.6 million dollars next year like we did this year. Nor will we have John Franklin-Meyers back at 16 million dollars. I'm not sure what kind of dead cap they carry (figuring these things out is why I'm not a great capologist), but I can't imagine we will be paying those salaries straight. Zach Wilson will be gone, so his 11 million dollar hit will be also. Laken Tomlinson's non-guaranteed 13 million will likely be gone or restructured. So there's money to go around. The concerning year would be 2025, which is when Sauce Gardner's and Wilson's deals will be able to be extended. I can't see the Jets passing on the chance to extend these two guys.

But they're not in a net negative right now with the cap, and aren't in 2025, so that's a step in the right direction. They're not way up there, but they're not guilty of printing money or anything like that.

There are several articles about their 2024 cap and what they need to do. A simple Google search should suffice. I just read three of them. Quinnen Williams's contract was apparently built to extend and defer cap dollars. So that's good.

One thing about our league is you only start QRRWWFKD. So that's only 5 total across the RB/WR/TE postions. I think a more typical total is 6, if not 7. So I think it puts a bigger value gap between top-tier and "really good" guys.

May you soon post a trade that’s the envy of the forum.

Thanks. We will see if he responds. I've sent out cold offers this year to no response, so I'm not holding my breath nor thinking he'll come cheaply. I doubt I'll be the envy of the forum.
Wilson team in my league is looking for a new owner.

When the new owner comes in I’ll float an offer.

Can't wait for Ih8Sznings to join your league.

Was able to finally acquire Justin Jefferson in an FFPC, 1 QB league

Got: Jefferson, 3.03
Gave: smith-Njigba, 1.06, Allgeier and 2025 1st (presumably late)

Now i can pick Harrison Jr with the 1.01 and pair together with JJ for long time. WR room still has Olave, Devonta, Marquese Brown, Doubs and some scrubs. Felt like a slight overpay but to get these types of guys I guess that’s always what it will feel like.

That’s a steal for JJ. Shocked he went for that. That’s hardly an overpay. Seems like a bargain. A 1st, a future 1st, the RB2 on the Falcons and JSN?

100%. This is like one of those trades that would add up in a trade calculator but make zero sense in reality. In fact I just checked keeptradecut, which specifically attempts to make adjustments for stacking up multiple smaller assets for one big one. But even there, it says BigAl21 loses the trade by a factor of 21 to 16 🤣

Excellent trade, good work.
