TE premium or lineup requirements?

First thought is I want the 1.04/Henry side because all my leagues are start 2TE minimum so I could be wrong for "normal" leagues.

Cobb for me.  Not a fan of Ross and I think Cobb is under valued right now...

If the draft was starting today, the 1.4/Henry side is by far and away the easy choice.

If the draft was right after the last preseason game, that side is still likely the easy choice unless 2 out of the top 4 RBs and Davis was to suffer some terrible injury or huge suspension or something weird.

OMR - just wondering how you can make the statement you made regarding this trade. I also like Diggs a lot, and am sure that I would have been able to get my trading partner to throw in something else (like a player he might be cutting or a pick of some sort - now or in the future) to make the trade a bit closer to even. Yes, WR Cobb and WR Sanders does seem to tip the scales in their favor, but Diggs who will be turning 24 this season is a better long-term option at this stage of the game. And if push came to shove, I would have sent this pair of WRs for Diggs looking ahead, but would not have given up without a strong counter-offer negotiation attack.

I actually offered the trade, and yes on reflection could have at least got a pick out of him (he dropped Agholor immediately after the trade), but getting deals done is real hard work in this league and I honestly expected the usual decline with no comments or counter.

Fwiw we start 2-4 WR and my WRs are now OBJ, Evans, Robinson, Watkins, Diggs, Marshall, Garcon, Gordon, Gabrial, Beasley, Reynolds, Zamora.

The extra roster spot is also useful.

I try to keep everything in a 2-3 year window. I am very high on Diggs, but think I get more production from the pair in the next couple years. Of course Diggs could blow up this year and prove me wrong.

Get: 4 2018 1's. Projected: 1 early, 2 mid, 1 late.

But startup so really hard to say other than the early who is the guy who is receiving back his 2018 1 and now only has Blount/Perrine/Sproles/CJ0K at RB (start 2) and has average WRs (Hilton, Decker,Crabtree, Maclin,Coco) and no TE1.

another draft trade, this one is one I made.

 12 team PPR start QRRWWWTFF

I traded: 2.9 and 2018 third

I got: 2.7 OTC and then took Cooper Kupp.

I like Kupp to be a decent PPR bye week fill in this year and hopefully gain a nice rapport with goff and then become a Landry type player that catches a bunch of passes. Really didn't like anyone else in this late second range that was left so jumped a couple spots to get my guy

Alshon for me.  This seems like it would have been a decently fair trade before New Orleans hadn't just brought in a bunch of other RBs.

Even as someone very high on Fournette I will take the picks in a landslide.  Someone did a pretty good study on here a while back that no player is worth 4 random 1sts, and it's not like Fournette is some proven stud.  There's a pretty decent chance with some of the RBs likely to be in next year's draft that one of those picks will end up netting a player in similar value to Fournette, which would leave 3 bonus 1sts for the low low cost of CJ Prosise.

When healthy and on the field he has proven differently. Also being stuck in the anemic offense of Buffalo has not helped. I think his talent has been clear and hopefully he can put the injuries aside so we can see what a healthy year looks like. A bonus would be moving on to a different franchise. Calling him a bust from injury is a lot different than using performance IMO. Unless your able to predict he will continue to be injured I do not consider him a bust yet.

I mean relative to his hype of what people were claiming him as "the best WR to come out of college" and things like that.  He had 60 catches his best year... That was good for 50th in the league in 2015, and his yards of 1047 was good for 22nd.  He's a glorified WR2 at best with WR3 upside that's being treated like OBJ...

1.8>Cobb>Ross.

I view Cobb closer to 1.8 than Ross being close to Cobb. Feel like Cobb is undervalued, Ross overvalued.

If team getting Cobb needed a WR this year I think 1.8 is reasonable.

I like Diggs but to me he does not equal both of these WR's so I'd take Cobb/Sanders.

Because he's not. Injuries have limited his playing time, but with even bad QB play he is lights out on the field. 

Now he has at least a mediocre QB who throws a great deep ball, and may leave Buffalo after this year.

Draft day pick. Fournette, Mixon, Davis and Cook were off the board. 

Team A gives: 1.05 + 2018 2nd (probably mid)

Team B gives: 1.06 + Moncrief + Garoppolo

Team B picks McCaffrey then Team follows with Perine at 1.06. 

 
I sent Hyde

I received Ertz and a 2018 2nd, should be early. 

Ppr scoring. 

I am a contender and a little weak at tight end. I know this might be selling Hyde cheap, but I couldn't get any good offers at the draft and I just hate owning him.

I like Hill more than most here but still take Henry rather easily. You having Murray just makes it easier, although it could be a full rbbc and a headache if both stay healthy.

I actually think Watkins can be good but prefer Thomas. Also prefer Foster to Lee, slightly.

Andrew - I think that Team B wins the day here (and down the road as well), with the real outlier being QB Garoppolo (especially in this start 1 QB league). The probable feather in Team A's cap is WR Moncrief who does give him a WR#2 starter - but both he and Luck have to stay healthy for the Colts & Team A to have a successful season (NFL-wise & fantasy-wise). And knowing the rosters for each squad would have permitted a more accurate assessment/opinion of this trade. GL in 2017.

 
10 team PPR, Start 1-1-3-1-flex RB/WR/TE

Team A gives: Pryor, Walker, 3.8, 4.1

Team B gives: Reed, 1.9

Doing a price check on Reed, knowing that Team B is desperate for a WR3 with very little depth and only has Barnidge as a backup TE. Willing to move up draft pick in negotiation to 2 if that's what it ultimately takes.
