****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (21 Viewers)

Team A received Corey Davis, 2018 1st (mid), Amendola

Team B received CJ Anderson, Carson Wentz

16 team PPR, qrrwwtfkddd

Context fwiw, 400 budget contract league with max 14 contracts, and an auction each year to fill rest of 25 man rosters.  Wentz is $9, Davis is $26, amendola not signed, CJ is $50. Both teams are contenders, team giving up CJ was loaded at RB and Team B was hurting at RB past Leveon.
Seems like a good job selling high on Anderson. Guy does this every year for a short stretch.

I'd take Davis here even without the other stuff.

12 Team PPR. QRWFFTKD.

Coby Fleener, 2018 2nd

for

T. Eifert
In a vacuum you would have to think the Fleener side wins.  But, as an Eifert owner in a few leagues, I could see wanting to move on from him.  But, on the other hand, as a Fleener owner in several others, he's not the guy that I'd want to move to.

This went down in one of my leagues (PPR, 12 team).  Not involved..

Team A gives:
David Johnson
Josh Reynolds
Eli Rogers
Cameron Brate

And receives:
Zach Ertz
Chris Conley
James Conner
2019 1st
2018 2nd
2019 2nd
2019 3rd
2019 3rd

Picks likely late.

I'm not a fan of vetoing trades but I'd be pretty upset if I were in that league.

How difficult is it to get and in this league? I think I would go Hyde, and I don't like him.
it looks a bit off now but is the type of trade that could easily work out for the other side if Mahomes pans out.

***I'd take the Hyde side but don't think it's an awful trade.

Not certain but i know a few of us have more than our share. Leagues in the 3rd year, its a 1 qb league, i had 3 starters and drafted Trubisky, Mahomes and Kizer with late 3rds.

The team I traded with had Cutler, Bortles and Tyrod.  A reasonable committee that might have zero starters next season.

Explain your logic here
I hate when people complain about bad trades. Most of the time they are mad that they didn't rob that owner 1st.  Very rarely is it collusion.

I complained about a bad Leveon Bell trade in this thread, but I had talked to the Bell owner last year and over the summer about acquiring him.

My offers were Melvin Gordon, 2017 or 2018 1st since we talked before and after the rookie draft this year and Tate or Doctson.

He took an offer of McCoy, Crowder and a 2018 3rd.

The point might have more merit had I actually been in the league.  You may want to re-read my post.  And, noting that I would be upset is vastly different than complaining about a deal.  I see plenty of deals each week that make me wonder what people are thinking.  But I can't remember the last time that I openly complained about any of them.

Run It Up said:
Deep roster 12 team TE premium ppr, start 3-5 WRs

Sent 2018 2nd (late) and Tavon Austin

Received Tyler Lockett
Opinions? Getting mixed opinions irl. Was looking for a young starter with upside felt like Lockett fit that mold. My team is very good in this league I have David Johnson out with injury and I still lead the league in scoring by a lot

And yet you talk about being mad and vetoing trades. Thank you for proving my point.
Sometimes you just gotta laugh.  Have a good day and keep on construing posts in the way that proves your point.

Edit to add in my original post on this so that it can be properly read:

I'm not a fan of vetoing trades but I'd be pretty upset if I were in that league.

Thanks for proving ours, that you have no idea what you are talking about, and that you are just on some weird tangent for some odd reason.

Lol, I love when you does this to me and you are wrong. Remember the NBA thread?
You are ranting about what a guy said about a trade in another league as though he is in the league, which he clearly wasn't.  keep going, please.

And what was I wrong about in the other thread?  The Cavs got more didn't they?

He said something about if he was in the league he would be mad and that he doesn't advocate veto trades but... I said those type of people are usually the ones that are mad because they didn't rip the owner off 1st and that is a pet peeve of mine. Therefore offer something 1st, don't complain about the trade because someone else beat you to the punch.

Oh, we know what you said, it just made no sense to quote him and post what you did.  Then your follow ups were even worse.  Carry on and keep us laughing as usual.

Try using the actual quote:

I'm not a fan of vetoing trades but I'd be pretty upset if I were in that league.
Point 1 - I don't like vetoing trades and have never done so in more than 30 years of being a commish.

Point 2 - I would be upset if that happened in one of my leagues.  Not because I didn't rip someone off but because the competitive balance had been altered by a bad deal and the trade would go through (see Point 1).

Should I have said that I would have been gleeful had I been in the league?  Sugar coat it all you want but there were 10 upset owners when that trade e-mail came through.  Can we get back to talking about trades?

Maybe we are splitting hairs, but in my eyes you were round about saying you would try to get this trade vetoed.

I had no idea about your veto history

Bad trades happen all the time, everyone values players differently.

Splitting hairs again, but I would have just said horrible trade for the guy giving up Johnson, not about how mad I would be or the veto comment.

Agree to disagree and I apologize, back to discussing trades and entertaining people.

12 Team Dynasty ppr, standard scoring

Team A Gave T Gurley

Team B Gave Demarius Thomas, 1st round 2018 pick, more than likely mid to late.

As someone who is in wakelawyers league where he is commish (2 actually) I can attest to he never complains about trades or has ever even commented publicly about lopsidedness of a deal.

12 teams, Superflex, ppr

Gave: Siemian, Cohen

Got: Mixon

I'm pretty happy about this one. If Siemian turns into a 5+ year starter, then it's a lot closer in my eyes. I'm not competing this year either, so Mixon fits my team mold nicely.

Good deal for you. Seems cheap.

I inquired about Cohen in one of my leagues and was told it would take Mixon and I told the owner it was crazy talk.  I understand the appeal with Cohen but this is a no brainer and frankly, an over reaction.  Steal for you...

Non-ppr.

Team A Gives: Odell Beckham

Team B Gives: Ty Montgomery, Alshon Jeffrey, CJ Anderson, 2018 2nd (Pick 12-16 probably)

Team A was in the running for the Sacko for the 2nd year in a row. Has a young team and needs some points now. Team B had great depth, now they're very thin. I think long term I definitely like Odell, but this year I think gaining the depth will help Team A compete.

I only play PPR but seems cheap for OBJ.

I don't like it for the guy giving up OBJ.  Seems like a lot of precipitous value on the other side.  CJA seems to go through this value spike every year before it falls back off a cliff.  Alshon only a little different.  I don't get the love for Ty.  He's putting up fantasy points but how long is GB going to sit there and let him bang away at 3ypc before they reduce his role or replace him altogether?

You'd basically have to have all 3 of these guys maintain their current play/value throughout the rest of their careers for this to be even close, and I think he will be lucky if even one of the three does.

Looks like a classic four nickels for a dollar type thing.

I think we see a lot of interesting OBJ trades over the next few weeks.  He's an elite talent but not healthy, and clearly no good when he's not, and now that OLine has Eli all over the place, and Eli is no spring chicken.  Good time to exit OBJ if you get full value, but that's the rub - who's paying full value for him when the risks are stacked that high?
