****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (23 Viewers)

Should I see if I could get more out of him? I know he's trading furiously this offseason, so don't want to miss out on that 1st rounder
Somebody should probably step in and give him some advice, or be prepared to find someone willing to take over an atrocious roster in 2 years when he inevitably leaves.

FFPC SF just went down

Team A gives Rashod Bateman

Team B gives Tom Brady

The team getting Brady doesn't seem like a serious contender this year even with Brady.
Had to take a double take with this...

Owner in my league posted he wants a 2022 1st AND 2nd or a Stud WR and a 2nd for Brady.

I think this is a pipe dream, but it only takes 1 to other to make a deal!

lol... the team is already bad- previous owner was a wheeler-dealer who kept betting wrong on the wrong guys. New guy is at least getting two players who will start for him right away... and Gage is young and may blow up (as I said, I think he's going to be really good). the 1st rounder... yeah.

we tend to have guys stay a long time- the league's 25 years old has been solid. outside of the initial draft where the guy with 1.2 said he HAD to have Mike Vick, so the guy with 1.1 said he was going to draft him, and then raped him for the pick, screwing the balance of the league for a long time (despite my veto), trades have been good. every trade has to pass a majority vote and if somebody is really against it, we'll discuss before passing/vetoing (although I don't recall ever needing a veto outside of that Mike Vick fiasco.... but we'll see how they react to this one)

if Godwin comes all the way back from his ACL, Gage is going to be a fine RL football WR, but he’ll be thoroughly mediocre for FF purposes. He was a FF WR2-type as the WR1 in ATL. I don’t see that improving as the WR3 in TB. Especially not if Gronk comes back.

Gage is never going to be a player you want to start. Just one who might serve as an OK filler.

The most baffling part of this ridiculous trade is that @El Floppo actually asked for advice on if he should do it. Unless you wanted advice on if it was worth feeling badly for the way you are treating this guy, you should have smashed accept and walked in whimsical dance steps for the next hour.

 it's crazy that I gave it a second thought- you're right.

I"m so used to getting offers of the most amazing terribleness, that I had to type it all out here just to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I definitely would have looked confusingly at that trade offer trying to figure out if I was missing something.

I took a gamble …12 Team 1 QB PPR

I gave up 2.09

I got Soon to be ex-Jax WR Laviska Shenault

I am betting on him being traded…

No clue where but I think he has talent

Whatever helps you feel better, man. Lol

I don’t really believe in vetoing trades unless there’s clear collusion, but if I were also in this league I would be sure to express my displeasure at a deal like this one. Particularly taking advantage of a new member. But to each their own.

lol... definitely trying to justify it to myself.

but anyways- he proposed this to me in the first place. I tend to grossly over-value the guys on my squad when I make trade offers, but nowhere near this level.

eta: it's up on the league site for review/voting... we'll see.

I’m honestly not sure what to think of Laviska, but I’d buy him at this price in hopes that he lands in a decent spot.

My buddies full dynasty league had this trade today: PPR 1QB 2RB 3WR 1 TE 1 Flex

Team A gets:
CeeDee Lamb

Team B gets:
1.02
1.09
RB Elijah Mitchell

I know some people were fading CeeDee but I’m still a big fan, personally. Expecting a big year this year.

I think this is pretty even and one I could see making sense for both teams. Gun to my head, I’ll take CeeDee since it’s 1QB and those picks are worth a little less.

it's been slow going getting votes (which have been almost immediate for all other trades the last week)... but no voices of dissent just yet.

he just posted this on the trade thread:

I know some of you guys may see this as a stupid move on my part, and that I am a total "Homer." Did I maybe offer a little too much with a 1st rounder, perhaps; but I have reasons. Once Tom retires for good, I will have no reason to ever be a Homer again. If this Bucs team has it in them for one more magical run, I want to vicariously be a part of that. If I didn't make a move like this to pick up 2 key Buccaneers, I'm sure I'd be kicking myself until 2023.

12 Team PPR SF, large starting lineups

Team A gets: Dalvin Cook, Gabriel Davis

Team B gets: 2023 1st (likely mid), 2023 1st (likely later)

I love Davis, I like Cook.

Cook will be 27 in August, and he’s been somewhat injury prone. Davis may blow up this year, he may not.

As such, I’d prefer the 2x 2023 1sts.  It’s a good time to cash out on Cook, and that’s a good price.

Cook and Davis pretty easily.

Maybe just Cook by himself for that if I have a strong team that could use a RB

12 team PPR league

Team A gave 2022 pick 1.10 and Mooney

Team B gave David Montgomery
I take Monty.

i like Mooney, but Montgomery is a stud. I don’t know what I get at 1.10 this year that bridges the gap in value between Mooney & Monty.

ETA: my trade calc has this favoring the Mooney/1.10 side 202 to 122, a substantial difference in perceived value. But if I’m buying Monty for that I’m thrilled.

I don't play SF but in standard I've been trying to move Dalvin big time in two standard one start QB leagues. If these picks were bumped up a little to account for no QB's being drafted and I was looking at a likely early  and mid 2023 for Dalvin that would be more then enough for me to move him and I'm a contender in both leagues.

My issue has been teams holding those early looking 2023#1's are the original(sorry) teams and they don't want to pay that for Dalvin.

FFPC SF not involved

Team A gave Etienne
Team B gave Barkley
That’s a difficult call. ETN isn’t exactly a “proven” asset, though he has youth & seemingly job security in his favor. On the downside, I hate his injury - it’s really hard to evaluate this without knowing where he is recovery-wise.

Barkley isn’t likely to be with the Giant beyond this season, but we don’t really know what he is because he can’t stay on the field.

Barkley is still only 25, and I’ve seen elite level play out of him. (Flips coin) - gimme Barkley.

I don't remember the league ever vetoing a trade, but this one looks dead.

I've been pondering this, and was going to ask yesterday if anyone had/saw recent trades.
As @ghostguy123 points out, the other side of this coin is a win-now team looking to add a stud RB.

Cook certainly fits that bill, and if they had the 2x 1sts to pay, it’s not a bad price to win a ‘ship.

Personally I’d rather be on the selling side, as I love the 2023 draft potential, and it seems like a great return on a player who seems injury prone.

I haven’t seen too many Cook deals go down - this is the 1st in a while on here.

This is an interesting trade, and if these teams are constructed like I assume they are I actually like it and think it’s fairly equal. The value is likely on the package side, but to be fair so is nearly all the risk. In a vacuum, give me Javonte. But I think he’s going to be a star.
I like J-Will a ton but if I had any thoughts on winning this year I would jump on King Henry and Aaron Jones for him.

This seems fair to me.  I like Lamb and would probably lean that way but could do much worse if you were looking to compile assets.

I think Monty is hated way too much by trade calculators and "experts."  I agree with you but seems like the fantasy world is down on him again.

They’ve been down on him since he was drafted. Then he struggled his 1st year & everyone was taking victory laps.

He’s turned into a quality FF asset & the pundits seem unwilling to accept it.

FFPC SF

I gave 1.06
I got 1.08, Lock, K Herbert

Need QBs really really bad in this one and it looks like Seattle is actually going to go with Lock. There is no rookie QB that I'm worried about missing at 1.06.

I like this deal for you. You might still get your guy at 1.08, and you add a starting QB in SF.

Seems kind of early to say that. They could easily take a QB at 1.09, trade for Baker or add a veteran that's still out there.
