****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (32 Viewers)

First new Watson data point (that I've seen):

FFPC SuperFlex not involved:

Team A gave Watson, Chuba, 2023 2nd
Team B gave Hockenson, Carter, 1.08

12 team ppr

gave - oj Howard, 2022 pick 1.12,2.12,3.12,4.12 and 300 bb dollars (1000 total)

got - Amon ra st brown
In terms of value I think it's equitable but I'm a firm believer in ASB being a foundation piece of the Lions offense.

I'd pass however on giving up that for ASB because of fun I'd have to pass on giving those picks. Boo to not having a rookie draft to look forward to.

I’ve been there. Twice. It’s not fun. For me it was 2021, which was a spectacular draft class.

never again.

that said, y’all making me really excited about ARSB.

FFPC standard

Justin Herbert

For

2023 1st (likely playoff team)

I turned down a similar offer for Herbert a few weeks ago on a team he's my QB2 but that was in large part to team making the offer has been my main comp for most of the last 8 years.  Good chance I've accepted if it was another team.

All in all seems equitable depending on circumstances, cut's, other QB on roster, etc, etc.

I would have given him a bit more for Herbert.  He posted a message and then traded him 15 minutes later.

I had emailed him about Herbert with no reply.  Oh well

My team is set, I had no room to add 4 new players.  I am not a big fan of this years draft, so passing is not a big deal.

TE premium?

Superflex leans Watson, but it’s close. I like Hock & Carter. The 2022 1.08 is meh. Chubba is kinda irrelevant.
Yes TE premium.

Wow, really? Trading an entire 2022 Draft for him?

Makes me feel better about acquiring him on the cheap.
It is 1.12 and OJ Howard for Amon Ra. I actually don't even think it is super close. The other picks are just wrapping on the box and trimmed garlands or whatever.

There is zero reason to think that his entire draft is being sacrificed. Ok today yes. But no other moves possible between now and then? I always end up buying into drafts and I am surprised that idea would be an obstacle to a deal like this.

had a roster spot to absorb a player Figured i probably couldn’t  do  much  better than  Toney at this pick.

Love it

ETA-You inspired me to try this exact same trade in a league of mine I had a roster spot to add him. I think I've made an offer for him before in this league but could not recall exactly what, the Toney owner took over the team from a guy who only drafts SEC players so he was not married to him.  Anyway offered 2.3 for Toney, got rejected almost as fast as I sent it, no comment or counter. Might have been what I offered previously and he's getting annoyed with me.

Hi guys, I got a message in SF Dynasty league asking my price for Jefferson. He said he was willing to do a package of players and picks, but no initial offer. After looking up his roster, it's actually pretty decent with Watson, Fields, Lance and Tua at QB. He also has 1.01, 1.02, and a few other studs on his roster such as Chase, Andrews, RB's like Etienne, Swift and Dobbins.

TBH, my team finished 3rd last season and I'm pretty good at QB with Wilson, Stafford and Tannehill and am struggling to get to the 16 player max(currently @ 19) for the April 1st deadline. MY RB room isn't terrible but not as young as his guys. I have Harris, Gibson, Fournette and Hunt.

Small rant, I am not a fan of doing trade offers this way. I would rather an actual offer with a message to try to get interest or traction going with the offer. I will rarely even reply to such an offer .... but this guy has a few "tools" that I like.

I really enjoy reading this thread and seeing these trades go down out there, keep it up!

FFPC SuperFlex

I gave Cousins, Chark

I got Toney, 1.10

That gets me to the cutdown mark.
Buying up Toney all over huh?

i like the trade, but it’s close. Cousins is a bit long in the tooth, so it’s depending on how you feel about Chark is only 25, has talent, and DET should be adding a QB in the ‘23 draft. NYG also needs a new QB.

So really the winner of this deal could be determined by which team gets the better passer in a year.

And who you get at 1.10, of course.

That’s tough. You’d be giving an already stacked team another top WR, so while it might help your team improve, you’re also helping your competition.

i could see getting the 1.01 + something minor for JJ, and taking Hall to get younger.  If you’re a believer in Swift, you could try a 1:1 there. Swift is probably worth a little more, but that’s not your problem.

The advantage to getting approached like this is they’re after your player, so you’re holding all the cards here. You should be able to work something out in your favor.

A few guys in my league do this and I don’t like it either. My response is always the same ... make me an offer and we can talk.

10 Team PPR I was involved in

QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1Flex(RB,WR,TE)

I gave Antonio Gibson

for

Melvin Gordon and 2023 1st rd pick (will be extremely high as this team has by far the worst roster).

I wasn't looking to trade Gibson but the allure of most likely a top 2 pick in 2023 was something I couldn't pass up.

If you’re that sure this pick will be Top 3 in 2023, then I love this for you. Even in 1QB, the top half of next years draft is going to be littered with quality prospects. McKissic returning to the Commanders(I’ve got to get used to that) really puts a damper on Gibson’s ceiling imo.

His WR core is:

Kendrick Bourne

Calloway

Corey Davis

Russell Gage

T. Marshall

Jakob Meyers

D. Parker

Cedric Wilson

In a 10 team league with no 1st or 2nd rd pick this year :scared:

I’d make that trade.

Yeah I don't like it when people do that either. Great to be friendly and reach out, but include an offer in it. I mean unless you have a history together and it isn't a thing. When people send me a message like that for one of my studs that I haven't put OTB I rarely respond with anything specific (on that player). I'll say something like "I really am not looking to move him, but I will listen to offers. It will take a lot. I'm also looking for...blablabla"

It's a transparent negotiating tactic, and honestly nothing wrong with it. It's not like offensive or mean or anything, just sort of annoying in that someone is asking me to do work for their benefit, and to reveal as much info as possible before making an offer. I've reached out to people like that in the past but I generally get the same kind of response that you're talking about or that I am describing here myself. But it can reveal very innocent yet important information, like "hey I'm also in/out on this guy if you are interested" and before you know it a completely unrelated but good deal emerges. So reaching out can be good. I just always like to include an offer because from experience I know for most of us it is a bit of a pet peeve.

I've bought and sold many used cars as I'm sure most of us have. Most recently I sold my mom's vehicle. One of the people that came to see it said "Ok what is the absolute lowest you would take?" And he was smiling and friendly and it's fine but like do you really expect me to say that out loud? My price was listed on the ad and I did say OBO. So bring it.

I have 2 shares of Toney now. I think I gave away a little value but cleared my last needed roster spot here. But it is close, as you say.

Ah - I guess I’ve just seen him in so many trades recently I thought you had more shares.

I’d be buying too if his owner in my league was selling.

huh I was going to say I thought the other share was just a couple days ago but it was from November:

I gave Chark, T Marshall, 2022 2nd & 3rd (that became 2.07 and 3.03)
I got Toney, Mike Williams and Boston Scott

I’d be buying too if his owner in my league was selling.
Regarding Toney I guess I should give people more credit for seeing the flash and the potential because I went into the off-season thinking people were sour on him. Was loved a lot more by NFL then fantasy community entering season, I drafted him at 2.3 and I believe that was highest he went in any league of mine, end of second in some. Had something seemingly go wrong with him almost every week, multiple injures and some head case issues.  But the potential was abundant and again I guess I did not give people enough credit for seeing it through the issues as I've been unable to obtain him.

And to be clear I think he could be a massive bust, he's about as boom/bust a player as I can recall.

These are the ones I think I would prefer. The others are coinflips based on team needs. The 2023 1st vs Juju has me stumped. Godwin vs Sutton/2.05 is closer in my mind than I might have thought at first glance.

That, and the Giants have QB challenges, so you also have to hope he gets an upgrade there.

Sure but I'd pay 2.3 for instance if you told me he'd be playing his entire career with Daniel Jones. Stating the extreme obvious that the better the QB's the better for the WR's but the fact Toney can win in the short game minimizes his need for a big time passer as much as most WR's.

FFPC:

Gave: CEH, Sermon, 2023#3(likely late)

Got: Travis Etienne

Sermon was a cut. I do have James Robinson who I'm a lot more encouraged in his recovery then most and I"m still not ready to say CEH absolutely can't turn it around but seeing him relegated for McKinnon in the playoffs put me in a position were if I could obtain another high end young RB prospect for him I was game for it.

Out of coincidence I would label CEH and Sermon as my two worst first round picks since the league started in 2013.

I like the potential.

i have CEH & ETN as similar value - I agree that CEH might still become something, and he has the gig. ETN is all about the upside, but he’s got a rough injury on RBs.

If the Lisfranc heals up, and he either becomes something resembling a feature back, or becomes a Deebo-style hybrid player where he’s receiving as much as rushing, he’s got tremendous upside.

Hard for me to say which side I’d take, but it seems fair.

FFPC SuperFlex

I gave 2023 2nd
I got Miles Sanders

My first ever share. I drafted him in one rookie draft and flipped him before September. I've only really avoided him because whether redraft or dynasty he is just always in this weird anti-sweet spot of being too pricy. But a 2nd is too low. It should be late too. I have to cut someone I like now, though, but the value is still too good to pass on this.

yes all day buy him for a 2

I gave:

2022 2.09, 2023 2nd (4-5-6) 2024 3rd (  ), Michael Carter, Evan Engram

I got:

2023 1st (likely top 4 pick)

I dealt Danny 10-Cents & 2022 1.08 for M.Carter & the 2.09, so here i added a ‘23 2nd, a 24 3rd & Engram to get my 4th pick in the top 5, and 6th 1st round pick in 2023. I’ll have 2 more between 1.08 & 1.12.

Been trying to lose Engram for years.
