This one’s tricky. I like Bateman, don’t love his situation. I’m not as high on Gibson as some, and the retention of Mckissik seems to hurt his value a bit, esp in PPR.
i like the late ‘23 2nd, the ‘22 1st isn’t a bad asset to acquire.
Man that’s tough. I’m leaning Bateman & the picks. I feel like i could turn that into something more than Gibson.

I do like Bateman but not a fan of him playing with Lamar. with all of the picks being late, I probably go Gibson but if I was in asset acquisition mode then I'd go with the picks.

Man, with talk of Fuller to the Packers, that feels like a nice buy-low. If he has ARod throwing deep to him, I'm trying for a '23 early 3rd. When's the cut-down deadline?

Perhaps Fuller ends up being a real good buy but in terms of what the Fuller seller got back I'd add he posted that he was available for trade on the league message board days before trading him so seems like this is the best he could get. I made no offer, have no room. It can tough in FFPC at cutdown date, which is tomorrow, to get proper value.
Now I don't think he should have traded him at all but that's another subject. He's in rebuild mode but I don't think that should mean you have to get rid of older players for young players who are clearly inferior. He had room IMO to carry Fuller longer and see if his value rebounds, if nothing else maybe helps him in the draft playoffs.
Also I messed up and the Lockett trade was also in this league and similar situation. Owner posted he was available on the league message board and traded him a few days later. Got a better return then Fuller but seems like best he could get. As some others have asked I would also be interested in the pending deal with Lockett that increases his value is believed to be? Is the thought process if Metcalf got extended that Lockett would be dealt or that he could just be dealt anyway?

yeah, it’s a tricky one. That’s probably fair for Fuller the FA.
but if the cut-down deadline is a few weeks out it probably woulda been smart for him to hold just to see where he goes.
If it’s the Packers or Chiefs, he’s gonna feel awfully silly having dealt him For a 4th.

My RB2 is James Robinson, so I needed a replacement pretty badly. This was waiting for me in my inbox yesterday morning, so before accepting, I offered my 2023 R2 to the Fournette owner, who had him on the block. He wanted my 1.09 and said he already had a deal in place for the 1.10. I said, "Great, that guy can have him," and I took the Singletary deal.
that Buffalo doesn't add a RB next month.

I have a hard time thinking someone has 1.10 locked up but pushes pause on it to try to move it up to 1.09. Curious how long it will take for him to accept that one.1QB FFPC

I waited to accept the Singletary deal to make sure the guy wasn't bluffing (he's tried to squeeze me before), because I preferred Fournette. He wasn't bluffing. He got the 1.10 and 2023 R4 for Fournette last night.
We had a new owner take over a team and within minutes of me finding out that owner helped break the streak and make first trade in this league this off-season.
Gave: Jalen Hurts
Got: 2023#2 probably non-playoff so high.
Rationale: I got Mahomes and he had Heinicke.

Well done. Maybe other owners will pull the sticks out of their backsides and loosen up with trades a little. Hopefully it won't all be with the new guy. lol

Rationale: this was the one FFPC league I was a buyer, was actually mulling over an offer to make for ROJO and the owner posted a message to the whole league saying he was looking to trade ROJO for a 2023#3. Might have been fastest I've seen a trade go down from league post to trade being done, was done in less then 2 minutes from his post so we both quickly got what we wanted, win/win.
Also in another FFPC league last night the owner said he was available for a third. I have no roster room here so could not do anything and he ended up doing this( as a side note the owner who got Jones was someone I dealt CEH off to last week)

I would put the pick as most likely to fall between picks 13-18 since FFPC has a draft playoff but no fault of the new owner of course it's a rough looking roster.

I have Fuller in a FFPC league and can't get a single offer for anything for him. Beckham and Woods either. I am starring at cutting a couple of these guys. FFPC you only keep 14 position players makes it pretty rough.

Gotta wait until he goes somewhere.
And in Fuller's case, you might have to wait until he has a decent game or 3 without appearing on the injury report. By week 4 IF he goes somewhere like KC or GB (both possible, IMO) and IF he puts together a string of 3-4 good games, you'll be able to get as much as a '23 late 2nd for him.
He's gonna take some patience to maximize trade value due to his last couple years. It's possible that you'll be rewarded. It's also possible he'll be a bust, and then you're no worse off than before.
But dealing him now as a FA coming off a totally lost year isn't going to get you anything.

I think he is a roster clogger and replaceable. But I will be curious to see if the % goes above 50 once cuts are finished. Most of them are done across leagues. I have begun (actually) cutting my guys. Takes awhile so when I say I don't do it until the last minute, I don't mean the *very* last minute.

About the same in my leagues and course why anyone would have already cut him is something a lot of us don't agree with in general but especially a guy like him. It's not crazy that between now and midnight he signed with someone that made him worth something.

I don't know that he was rostered at the end of the season TBH. But yes it would be premature to have cut before knowing where he lands.

Guy in one of my FFPC 1QB leagues mentioned a list of a few players at the end of his bench that he wanted to trade for best offer otherwise he’d cut. Brandon Cooks was in that list and though my team is “in the middle” kind of no man’s land in that league, I thought the value was too good to get a WR2/WR3 type guy, so…

I spoke wrongly about an "impending" deal for Lockett. I mean that there's a lot of speculation he goes somewhere. Nothing more than that.
I agree with you and good trade. If I had the worst team in the league and in a total rebuild I'd still be inclined to pay 3.8 provided I had an open spot.

I meant after cuts are due in 33 hours. Yes if he signs before then the rate of cutting will stop or slow down. But it can't soar (in these leagues) until the rookie/FA draft.

I have to cut or trade players by tomorrow night so either I have to cut Beckham and Woods and then hold Fuller to see if he lands in a good spot or I keep 1 of Beckham/Woods and let Fuller go.
These are not normal leagues you just can't keep everyone just 14 guys so sometimes you have to make tough calls either trade away a guy for cheap because remember when you trade someone the other team then has to cut someone else. Now some teams have some guys I wouldn't keep but they want to keep them over guys like Beckham and Woods and Fulller. Such is life in the NFL things change fast. Woods might fetched a late 1st for sure a 2nd to start last year. Fuller before he got suspended same deal during breakout season. Beckham was worth #1 startup pick of course that was like 4-5 years ago.

Ok this is a big one. Major liquidation trade for me today. This is a rebuilding orphan that wasn't going to be getting there this year with just these big 3. I did manage to squeak into the playoffs with a bye but just didn't have enough to get it done and this team is aging quick with very little capital. I won't be able to unload Kelce or Conner this time next year. Losing Deebo hurts but I believe I profited here.

My own ranks have me winning this (on paper) by 123-76. Hindery* has me winning it 95-73 but his 2022 rookie ranks are dramatically low compared to 2021 and (I am presuming based on his devy takes) 2023. That future 1st could be much higher (on paper) even if late. Dynastytradecalculator.com has me losing by 7%, 83.7 - 78.2. Dynastyprocess.com** also has me losing by 7%, 9572-8907. That seems within the margin of error to get a deal done to me.
Obviously the only true value is whatever two parties agree to, not what some calcs say. I think DTC and the latter one are way too low on both Knox and Davis. Most other values are within expected ranges between all three sources and myself. The side I gave away seems to be the most consistenty valued whereas the side I am getting back seems to have the biggest range. Makes sense for a liquidation trade.
*I applied a 1.5x factor to Hindery's TE ranks. That isn't a perfect way to do it but DTC adjusts for TEP and so do I.
**I didn't adjust for TEP in this latter one but I think based on them being too low on Knox and Kmet (IMO) that it would actually inflate the Kelce advantage and make it a bigger loss for me. I disagree of course but hey at least I'm effing fishing.

Don’t mind this deal for you at all. I love the 2023 first rounder, and you dealt i’m very old Kelsey, Connor, who I doubt stays healthy for an entire season again. Plus Davis, Kmet & the other picks?

Not a bad price for Penny. I have doubts Carson fully comes back froM the neck injury.
Penny certainly has an injury history himself, but worth the risk for a 3rd.
