****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (34 Viewers)

I can say there isn't.  For some reason, these guys gobble them up in a hurry.  We do have big benches so there is no real option on the waiter wire.
Ah - yeah, then it's just hoarding. I'd suggest shortening the benches. If a 12-team league in a start-1 format rosters 32 QBs, that's a problem.

It is but I think guys will come around.  This is only the 4th year and everyone's first time in dynasty even though experienced in regular redrafts.  It kind of makes things fun as you can always get one in trades if needed and they usually just get tossed in to other trades so no real issues but I definitely didn't think this owner got enough for Hock but he didn't like Hock himself so to each their own.

12 Team SF, PPR. 6 points per passing td.( -0.5 points per sack)

Team A gives: Lamar Jackson.

Team B gives: Trevor Lawrence and 1.04.
Contending: ljax

Rebuilding: tlaw and the pick. The upper tier of wrs in this class may not be Jamar Chase, but I suspect there will be 2 WR1 quality picks out of the 4 top tier guys. I'm also fairly high on tlaw moving forward.

I dont think a league exists where you cant move pick 4 for a 2023 1st
The deal was LJax for TLaw & a 2022 1.04

I’m saying if the pick was 2023 1.04 + TLaw instead I’d be on that side of the deal, as the 2022 1.04 doesn’t do it for me.

Sorry if that was somehow unclear?

if you’re saying you can get a 2023 1.04 for a 2022 1.04, I find that very difficult to believe.

Me too, since 2022 hast happened yet.

Willfully obtuse???

How can you know someone's 2023 1st....
I am not being willfully obtuse. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

I commented on a trade. I know my own list. I, personally, would want LJax over TLaw+ 2022 1.04

I would take TLaw+ 2023 1.04 over LJax.

why is this possibly difficult to understand? Who’s list are you talking about? Are you drunk?

I wasnt drunk then, I am now though.

I said you can trade pick 4 for a 2023 1st.  However, I cant know the exact 2023 1st I am trading for.

Huh. Ok, that’s different than what I was saying, but at least I think I understand you now.

That said, I’m not sure one could deal 2022 1.04 for a random 2023 1st.

I’d want any 2023 1st over pick 1.04 this year, personally. Opinions may vary.

I am sure you would be wrong in 90+% of cases
Just takes one. Rookie fever is strong and I think we all know people in our leagues who fall in love with rookies every year.

Once landing spots are known, 1.04 should be considered a premium pick and, depending on how the top 3 falls in each league, someone is likely to want to make the move for 1.04. On the clock, I could see 1.04 getting a 2023 1st plus another piece.

Jackson easily for me. Lawrence is still just potential. Another rookie pick (1.04 or 2023 1st) is more speculation.

Yes they vary.  I would definitely take the 1.04 over any double digit 2023 1st.  While the RBs are great, the WRs aren’t beyond a couple at the top.

But the QBs are deep, and Michael Meyer is in the mix as well. And there’s always a chance that a 3rd QB emerges as the season plays out.

I also disagree with your assessment of 2023 WRs. I see a pretty deep class, with JSN/Boutte at the top, but at least 3 other WRs that compare favorably with any of the 2022 class.

One or more of WRs Addison, Johnston, Downs may creep into the 1st.

I have 5 1st round RBs in Robinson, Gibbs, Evans, Bigsby, & Tucker.

Plus 2 sure-fire 1st round QBs in Young & Stroud.

So that’s 5 RB, 5 WR, 2 QB & a TE. 13 players deep. Gimme that 2023 1st all day.

ETA: I play SF, so maybe for 1-QB leagues this is less accurate.

Just seen someone trade their 2023 1st for 1.12 and that team trading their 1st was the 1.01 this year.
Yikes. That’s so bad. At least wait and make a move like that during the draft when you know who’s going to be there. Why do it now?

That’s just silly. Hall is as good as any RB in ‘23 but Bijan, IMO.

When I said he was the 1.01 this year I meant he earned the 1.01 pick by being the worst team last year. So now he has the 1.01 and 1.12 but without his 2023 1st.  Being he was the worst team last year not sure what he was thinking though he likely won't be worst team again this year he had some good guys stashed on the DTS but still don't see him as a playoff contender.

Oh, ok.

sorry. Up at 4 on Sundays. Not always the sharpest spoon in the drawer afterwards.

12 Team SF, PPR.

Team A gives: Jerry jeudy

Team B gives: Diontae Johnson
That's tricky. I kinda like both sides of this - don't usually see a WR:WR swap like this. I like Jeudy's QB better, so I'll take that side. Interesting deal. Short-term probably favors Jeudy, but I could see Dionte as the better long-term WR.

I had Sutton and Jeudy on the same team. I'm willing to take the gamble that Diontae can be a PPR machine for a few more seasons. But I agree that the QB situation is going to be tricky.

FFPC SINGLE QB:

Kadarius Toney for 2023 2nd (mid?)
Fair enough if an owner is fed up with recent news and just wants out. At least the Toney owner got a 2023 2nd instead of a 2022.
Personally, I’m holding my Toney share at that price since his upside is so high. I could likely be riding that stock price down to 0 though 😐

12 team SF

Team A gave Zach Wilson, A.J. Brown, 2.1, 2.3, 3.1

Team B gave Patrick Mahomes.
My only SF a league is redraft but, man, that seems like a huge under-sell for Mahomes. How do you not get AT LEAST one 1st rounder in that deal?

That’s pretty light. I got Higgins, CEH, Wilson, a 2022 1st & a 2023 1st for Mahomes in SF at the beginning of last year.  I get that there’s some perception of Mahomes value being deflated without Hill, but it’s still pretty light for Mahomes.

Saw this one. 12 Team PPR Dynasty

Toney, Mike Williams, 2.10

Jalen Waddle, Calvin Ridley
I do like Big Mike Williams this year and moving forward as Allen ages but I think I lean towards the Waddle side here.  I am out on Toney though.  I'm sure the Toney truthers on here might feel the other ways but with the news out that the Giants want to trade him and didn't even give him a playbook this year should show us something.
