FFPC TriFlex same league for both

I gave Ridder, 2024 4th
I got Bagent

I gave 2024 1st (late)
I got Achane

Then minutes later I declined an offer from a different party of their 1st and 2nd for Achane. They're both late as well.

First move is interesting because it feels a little random...curious to know your thoughts...it feels like you have an angle to it (do you have Fields?)...absolutely love the second deal for you...makes no sense for the other guy...don't understand that thinking at all...the kid looked like a legit a difference-maker at a position that is getting more and more difficult.
He moved four 2nds for Achane just two weeks ago. Not sure moving him for one late 1st makes any sense at all.

I don't understand the thinking at all...Achane jut came in and absolutely lit it up and he is in an offense that appears to know exactly how to use him...he is a legit weapon that can influence any fantasy match-up...you give that all up for a chance to do what? For a late #1 and the hope you get another Achane as your best-case scenario...just a foolish move for the other guy...zero idea what his end-game is here.

I just got Quentin Johnston for Sam Howell in a 1 QB league. As juicy as that trade should feel, I still dont feel good about it. Johnston is giving me Kevin White vibes, and I cant shake it.

I'll take the gamble for that price all day long and twice on Sundays. I have been nibbling at the QJ owner all year to see if he wants to sell and he's held firm, then when Palmer hit IR he messaged me and said "price just went up". Then the Jets game happened. I had decided not to possibly insult him with a lowball offer (let him come to me if he was panicked) but if this is his price now I may have to reach out again.

It is FFPC and I'm only the 4 seed at the moment with a loaded lineup with the exception of QB, which is rather important. So there is at least a pretty reasonable chance he views my 1st a strong possibility of an early 1st (because we compete in the Toilet Bowl for rookie picks so marginal playoff teams are probably good candidates for trades). I'm calling it late because that's how I roll, if he thinks it could be early I can't blame him. However, I'd put Achane at multiple 1sts at this point. Probably something like 1.03 or 1.04 next year at a minimum to start that conversation. Maybe I can flip Achane for the QB I need here. RB isn't a position of need at the moment but this is FF. I have not looked at any dynasty rankings in a bit and I'm usually busy inseason to care much, but would it be crazy to call him a top 5 dynasty RB right now? Is that inline with what folks have been saying or seeing?

I had the same pre-season feeling, but after watching him play, I feel better that QJ is not Kevin White II.
I think it will take him 2-3 seasons to really show it, but I understand the idea.

16 Team 1 PPR | QB/2RB/2WR/2Flex/1TE

Two weeks ago:

Gave: Rashee Rice
Received: Alvin Kamara

This week:

Gave: 2024 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, Zach Evans
Received: Aaron Jones

Team A (desperately needs a RB this week)
Gave: Kendre Miller

Team B Gave: Keaton Mitchell

Wow, if you drafted Kendre Miller for this year, you weren't doing it right.

This shows me how much he has fallen. Is the guy aware that Mitchell is questionable with a hamstring issue?

This baffles me.
I can’t complain I was the one getting Kendre.

Nice grab. Drafted Kendre and has and will be on my taxi squad all year. Will have to move him to my actual roster next year though (which is fine)

2024 Late 1st for Sam Howell
SuperFlex?
No 12 team league. Hurts is my starter (have Love and Minshew) - have a chance to win this year and didn’t trust the other two if Hurts misses games. We have very large roster sizes so really no one of note on waivers. I was top team last year and lost Hurts and Kyler Murray right when playoffs started and rosters frozen so obviously knocked out.

In non-SF I wouldn't give a late first for him, but I understand your paranoia.

2024 Late 1st for Sam Howell
Reasonable. I see Howell as becoming a Brett Favre type or a Jamarcus Russell type. There's no real in between there from what I can see.
I live in the DC area. Not a Manders fan but I watch them play a lot. Favre is the exact comp I have been using for Howell. He will take a lot of chances and make some dumb throws but he is a baller and will have some big time fantasy outputs. They have $90M to spend next year and one of the worst OL in the NFL. If this guy gets a decent OL and maybe an upgrade at TE he will have everything he needs to thrive, plus the defense is sub-par which is a great formula for FFB production. I just traded Howell for QJ in a 1 QB league, but I didnt do it as a sell-high as much as a buy low. Big fan of Howell as a QB1 for a decade.

I'm in a 12 team PPR dynasty and my QB's are Jared Goff, Russell Wilson, Bryce Young, and Will Levis on taxi squad. My RB's are Henry, Mixon, Allgeier, Herbert, and Foreman. I have a team that's interested in acquiring Goff or Levis in exchange for Tyjae Spears. It feels like Henry may be gone after this season, and that Spears would be the guy going forward. Plus it would be good insurance for me for this year if Henry goes down, as I'm 8-1 at this point, in 1st place, and have a good chance at the 1 seed. I won't post entire rosters, but he has narrowed it down to him trading Spears and acquiring a QB in return. And he's not interested in Young or WIlson. Thoughts?

If it’s not A 2 QB or super flex I make that trade in a heartbeat. I’d give him whichever QB He wanted.

He sent over the trade offer earlier today, and I don't know why, but he decided to make sure I agreed to trade him Goff, so he threw a 4th round pick in the rookie draft next year. I hit accept pretty quickly. Thanks!

need some help with this one.
16 team superflex PPR
Was offered
Receive: Diontae Johnson, 2024 late first, 2025 late second, 2026 late second
Give: Chris Olave

I’m tempted to take it as I think DJ could be close to a wash with Olave until Carr leaves the saints.

I really like the WR and QB class for next season and think late first offer great talent for next year.
Thoughts?

Gave: Tee, late '24 #1, '25 #1, Dermercado

Got: Diggs, Alec Pierce, '24 early 3rd

I'm in win now mode, overpaying for Diggs i can deal with. I still have a '24 1, for context.

I think I’d take the Johnson side here. I think you’ll get similar production (I actually think DJ will outscore Olave in PPR) this season and a nice pick in SF next year.

FFPC Triflex (superflex, start 3 WRs, TE premium)

Gave: Justin Jefferson, Treylon Burks, 2024 R2 (late)

This one was negotiated and finally accepted about 15 minutes before Sunday kickoff. My team is the 2 seed and trying to get stronger for the title run. His team is playing for next year.

I gave : Chris Olave

FFPC Superflex Best Ball

I wasn't involved (but I wish I was one of these teams).

Team A gave: Devonta Smith, Irv Smith, Darren Waller, Chig Okonkwo, Greg Dulcich, 2024 R1, 2024 R2, 2024 R3

Team B gave: Mark Andrews, Garrett Wilson, Josh Jacobs

I feel like Team B gave up at least 4 R1s and got back maybe 2 R1s, a R2 and change in return.
