Level 10-12s playing Level 3-5 isn't really something to brag about.
My Manila Warlords is in that conference. It is really screwy because there are a 3 obvious tiers of teams in the league. Top tier which consists of 3 teams... keys team, my team, and one other team. A second tier which has a bunch of teams that are somewhat below the first tier but can compete and possibly get some upsets against them. And then... the last tier which started off with basically all 1's and 2's and CPU players. They get steam rolled by any team. Although obviously 145 points is just abnormal no matter what. I really do not understand why they thought it was a good idea to throw a bunch of new teams into an established conference.

Thank you Sores.
Ouch.That one stings. He's not my favorite person.
Off-topic, but I'm not sure Sores is on anyone's 'favorite person' list.

Since Rayderr apparently doesn't want my help saving his team, I'm on another team in the South American Pro that needs a backup LB and FS. Will mostly be Special Teams work as well as some backup plays. Solid team. Owner is somewhat of a D (Drachir - you might have read about it) but he's committed and he actually let's his "coaches" run the teams. He just stops in occasionally. He probably doesn't want level 1s but he might be fine with level 4s.

Anyway, let me know if you want to get in on a "pro" level team (albeit not in the USA)

I've got a Level 9 DE (Brock Monroe) that will be a free agent after Day 11 of this year and would prefer to play on a FBG team.
So how do I know when Day 11 is, and what happens when I don't sign the contract offer from my current owner?

FB Run Percentage - 13

(both FB/RB can run)

defend short - 45

med- 45

long- 10

I know it may be hard to know with out knowing the players, but if anything unsuall stands out please let .me know.
The big thing is that your stamina and return rates are too close together IMO.I also prefer man to man more than zone and would vary the run/pass defense more based on my personnel and the matchup.
What energy rates do you recommend (basic/advanced)?

We could use you at the Manila Warlords. Day 11 is 11 days into the season.... which should be coming up soon. If you do not sign a new contract you will become a FA and can sign anywhere you want. You will have plenty of playing time with us.... might even start.... not sure. We have a level 8 DE right now that you might replace on the starting lineup. Even if you do not, you would get plenty of playing time with us as a primary backup.

I was thinking we might already have a verbal commitment...

The Detroit FBGs are on a roll, beating that D-bag 'Strategy Expert' for 3 wins in a row, after our dissapointing 10-6 loss on the season opener...

I posted this in our team forum, but I thought I would dump it here too, for some discussion (and a little bragging rights for my partners on the O-Line)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our OLine had 81 pancakes against Chicago in Week 2.
Chicago's DLine depth chart looks like this:
NT: lvl 8, 1(starting DT)
DT: lvl 1, 9CPU, 7CPU
LDE: lvl 13, 2 same backup for both DE
RDE: lvl 12, 2
The team we play on Monday, Boston Hoodlums:
NT: 1, 2 (same two guys are on DT..ie: ZERO backups!)
DT: 1, 2, 8CPU, 5CPU
LDE: 8, 2, 2, 7CPU, 4CPU
RDE: 7CPU, 6CPU
So the question is.... What is the over/Under on Pancakes for our next game...
100?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Should be a fun day for the FBGs.... :thumbup:

Dearborn Bullitt is looking for players.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1203

We are 4-0 in USA A #6. We have too many CPU's, not enough humans. Would like to keep a small roster: 40-45 players. Need WR, OL, All defensive positions.

Started the team with co-workers spread out around the country. Need to get the team forum more active. I've got a player on two other FBG teams. Take a look if interested.

Thanks!

If you mean number of pancakes for the center, then yes!!

The Springfield Duff Men of South America AA have allowed -10 yards total rushing thru 4 games! Special thanks to the Dline of the Detroit Football Guys who showed me how to build a solid D.

My WR was just traded, for the third time. I went from the #2 WR to the #5. I fail to see the value in the trade for the team that got me, but that doesn't mean anything. Guess I'll just play out a game or two until they inevitably trade me away too.

Damn. We need a WR, and you'd be at least the #3 on the Pregls.Pregls current needs:OT - primary backup, will get alot of playing timeWR - need two of theseFS, SS, CB

You can take a shot at a trade. Odds are they would be willing to move me.

Would I start next year as a level 15-16 CB?I'd be very willing to jump from the Red Warriors.

I want to get an opinion here on quality of team v touches. I am the starting TE on a pretty good team; we made the second playoff round in the Oceania Pro league last season and will contend again this year. But I just get so few looks; just 2 or 3 targets each game (which I convert into receptions). Its obvious that my guy is not really a blocking TE though I haven't completely ignored blocking stats.

Am I doing something wrong or should I look for another team where I may have a chance of better stats, but the team may suck.

Here's my dude:

I doubt the owner would be too keen to make changes to the tactics to accommodate me while we're winning.

Your owner just doesn't like you. I can't see the stats of all of the other players, but your TE is much better than the starting HB and even he has 7 catches. There is no reason that you should not be getting more love on that team.

My opinion is its a balancing act. We all want to play for a winning team, but you need to remember it is a team game and not everyone will be Gates, Ownes, Manning etc. If you are getting enough snaps to max exp every game then I would probably sit tight until the contract runs out. IF you just dont like the owner or want to try to be utilized more then look for a new team.There really is not a right answer as long as you are happy. If being ona winning team isn't enough then maybe its time to move on

You are not doing anything wrong you owner/gm just does not know how to use you to the fullest of your ability.

PS you would be a welcome addition to the Thunder Bay Reapers in Canada AAA. We are looking to upgrade our starting TE position. PM me here or at GLB user Raato

The WR1 is pretty good but the rest of receiving corps are average at best for this level. The RB hasn't invested anything in Catching and the FB is very slow. So have a polite word with the owner and ask for more looks my way than the HB and FB or look for another team? Goes back to my question - would you rather be a star on a losing team (as you'd expect other Pro level teams to have a solid starter at TE) or be a star on a team that blows.

Yep that was my kicker last year. He's gotten even better since then but he did miss from 50.5 two games ago:(

Our new kicker missed 3 FGs the first game of this season. Luckily we still won, but your kicker is definitely missed.
