"ouch" 4 rushing yards for Iowa. Nice job 'D.
Yeah, our running game was the sore spot for us all year. No matter what we did it just never seemed to work, but in the previous two games we got it going just enough to help.Great game Detroit. Take the crown in the title game.
Thanks guys. Great game to our FBG brethren on Iowa... It was an exciting game that was decided on one or two plays.Great work to my peeps on Detroits D Arc had a dominating game on the D Line (2 sacks, 3 hurrys) and Hulk added 2 sacks and another hurry. Soda had an INT for the 3rd game in a row...The Oline dominated again, with both RBs over 60 yards rushing, and SIXTEEN pancakes, led by 6 from Broadway Gee... And Fireman and Sam McGuffie had awesome long TDs from Hulk Fling RockGreat day...and let's keep it up as we head into the Finals!

Good game Detroit and good luck in the finals. The back to back touchdowns took alot of wind out of our sails. My running game has been down all year and I cannot figure how to get out of the funk. Now, since we are going to be in different divisions, let me see you roster to make adjustments.

Does anyone here think they are expanding too much? I think we are going to see a huge amount of empty, CPU teams. I think the admins should let the inactives shake out and find out exactly what their turnover is before expanding 700+ new teams.

There is some seriously ####ed up #### going on with stamina in this game:

So forget putting points to stamina.
Agreed. Essentially, real depth = pointless.
Might want to see if he makes the change back since Bort said in the thread it used to be different.
Yeah, I read that as well. Seems like Bort (and whoever else) needs to not listen to everyone else and go with their vision of what they created. At least to a degree.

Did you guys see that team in USA BBB that was absolutely blowing teams out using the no depth strategy? He won his first playoff game against an equal team 66-6.

I have enough flex points to upgrade my level 6 SS to level 9 as soon as the next season starts. I signed a one year deal with one team, and I'm looking to get paid this off-season, anyone know what ball park I should be asking for??

I'd wait til the end of the season to boost.

Why?? does it matter when you boost??
You earn XP quicker at earlier levels. Thus, if you play a bunch of games at level 6, 7, 8, etc. then level up at the end of the season, you will be farther along than if you start the season at level 9.

Yup...for example:My level 10 guard has been gaining 61 XP per day since we got booted out of the playoffs. My level 6 QB and my level 6 LB have been gaining 77 XP per day during that same time period. So maybe it's 4 XP per day per level? That doesn't seem like a lot.

Yah, but that's just for off days. Game XP is vastly different as well IIRC.

And I checked XP gained per snaps played.. lvl 6 earned about 6.5 per play.. lvl 2 was about 8.5.So I think the way to go is level normal all year until right before the playoffs, then boost.

This is what I did this year, but the trick being that you need to actually make the playoffs(which my team did) for this to be a good strategy.

you could come play for the Free for All...You wouldn't start at SS, but you would still get a ton of PT as the backup to both S spots and the #5 CB...

LVL 6 SS that I'll be boosting to LVL 9 as soon as the season starts http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=118799

LVL 4 CB that I'll be boosting to LVL 7 as soon as the season starts

Here are my two guys, I'll probably be making some more as well in the next few days.

The owner of my team suggested that I take on the responsibility of a defense coordinator, for next season. I didn't even know that Goal Line Blitz has a Defensive and Offensive Coordinators for the teams.

I'm thinking about purchasing a team but if I take on this Defensive Coordinator position should I hold off on team ownership?

I'm sure that the amount of time needed to run a team is substantial. Do you think that it would be wise to jump into team ownership as well as running the defense of another team.

Also would that be messed up to be owning a team and at the same time being on a different team?

Just had a non FBG team owner post this in his "State of the Franchise" thread:

"In light of that, I have posted the expected position builds in each of your Particular Position Meeting Rooms. If you find them too restricting and are desirous of certain create freedom then message me and I will find a team for you that will allow you to express yourself "attributally." It will not be here, though."

Not to mention the builds he put up were pretty lame IMO. Hopefully a trade will be worked out because I do care to express myself "attributally"
