World chess championship is taking place now

Carlsen v. Caruana

Game 1 - draw

Game 1 was very exciting, with Caruana getting into serious time trouble and Carlsen arguably blowing a winning position as black by grabbing a pawn (40. ... Bxc3).  A 115 move marathon draw ensued, over 7 hours in length.

Great analysis here:

Game 2 - going on now

Looking like a draw at this point.

These players are very equally matched and should be very interesting for chess fans.

10 cents for anyone who can correctly set up the board after White's 6th move...

[The] analysis tool calls that sixth move the “Sicilian Defense: Nyezhmetdinov-Rossolimo Attack, Gurgenidze Variation.”

I've studied the Nyezhmetdinov-Rossolimo Attack, Gurgenidze Variation extensively, and can say this is a ridiculous question indeed!  Obviously, the position after six moves depends entirely on whether white has accepted black's offer of the Błaszczykowski gambit , or is playing the more aggressive Ponomarenko Complex.

Fabi is toast.  Oh well, he played very well through the 12 classical games.  Just can't seem to hang with Carlsen in rapid.

What is a good way to learn more about strategy? I played at a basic level when I was younger and started playing on the chess.com app recently, but not totally sure how to further my understanding of larger strategy. I got a rudimentary book to help understand some concepts, but not sure how to better my ability to think through a full game.
