New Vltimas album is sick

VLTIMAS, the three-piece extreme metal formation consisting of David Vincent (ex-MORBID ANGEL), Rune "Blasphemer" Eriksen (ex-MAYHEM, AURA NOIR) and Flo Monier (CRYPTOPSY), will release its debut album, "Something Wicked Marches In", on March 29, 2019 via Season Of Mist.

 
I took my nephew to see Behemoth, Gojira, Volbeat and Slipknot this month. Slipknot fans can be, let's say, interesting? One of them told me "You haven't seen a show until you see a Slipknot show!" I found that ironic, as that's exactly what I'd say about Gojira :)

i saw slipknot during the 99 ozzfest....i get it...and i like what corey taylor does for the genre....but kind of a lame gimic imo

debating on getting grass seats to this but I would only go for gojira

not sure its worth it but im hard up fora  gojira show.  they havent headlined here since magma was released

I would like to see Gojira.  Slipknot is pretty overrated.  Saw them headlining a festival stage just a couple months ago and we bolted early.  Better songs might help?  But of course they do have their die-hards.

Recent drama involving Gojira's lineup placement at the Deftones fest.. started up by notorious **** bag the Hatebreed guy.. I do admit Chvrches are terrible and can't possibly be well received at this event..

that hatebred guy sucks...and i dont care for that band. ..how is he some popular metal guy is beyond me

Gojira is always worth seeing. Behemoth is great, although I preferred them in a smaller venue with a real pit.

I'm done with metal shows at giant venues unless it's a special show. I saw Pantera open for Black Sabbath years ago, and that was totally worth it.

 
Exhorder's new album came out today.  I highly recommend it.  Old school New Orleans thrash.  27 years between this and their last album.  They still got it.   

I linked a couple tracks earlier in this thread.  Mourn the southern skies.
