Met a 32 year old who is in marketing last night for drinks after work at a sort of trendy local place. Much trendier than I normally like. It was ladies night which I didn't know going in and it was packed. It might as well have been called cougar night. The girl I met was okay, I'd guess a 6. The conversation was great and she made me laugh a lot. She was smart with a quick wit and very confident. We ended up staying until 9:30 or so. She was nice to hang out with, but as the great baggar would say, "It didn't move."
So moving on. The pipeline on EH is a little thinner than I like right now, but this thing seems to come in waves. I have absolutely no plans this weekend. Even my local fling is busy. :/
Will wait until the one chick that seems too good to be true gets back in town next week to try to set something up with her.

I'm getting back into the online dating slog again after failing to resurrect things with my ex-gf (non-online chick). I've always been a big fan of eH, but the one aspect that is really starting to bug me is the distance parameter. A 25-mile minimum distance setting is just too ####ing far in Southern California. I don't want to date someone in Redondo Beach when I'm in Orange County. That's effectively a long-distance relationship. Eff that.

On our last get together she took great pride in being my first black girl experience. I'm sure tonight will be a fun one.
Quick update on others (names are what I call them when discussing with friends. For reference I'm 37 yrs old)...
- 27 yr old (o-scale: 7.5): Met in real world (not online). Longest running and has more or less turned into a booty call. Great chemistry, but not much in common after that. Not sure how long I can keep that type of relationship up before she starts questioning it...been finding myself downshifting on her recently.
- Chicago (o-scale: 7): 31 yrs. old. Met on OKC. Went out on two dates (both nights ended in the secks). Realized mid-date #2 a bunch of annoying characteristics in her personality. The next day when she asked to get together again that night, I gave her the ole heave ho.
- Garage Girl (o-scale: 8): 28 yrs old. Met in real world (not online). Not sure what to make of her yet. Met up with her three times...some heavy makeout sessions on walks to her car at 2am and that kind of thing, but always a reason or hesitation why she can't come up to my place. I have a feeling she's juggling a couple guys and figuring out which one is most worthy of her honey pot. I ignore for a while and then she'll eventually text out of the blue hinting to get together again. I have possible plans with her tomorrow night...gonna be a make or break night....if it's another tease night than she's out. Need to start seeing some return on investment. She's an AMAZINGLY sexy dancer though, so that imagery stays with me to fight through the barriers.
- Puerto Rican (o-scale: 8): Figured out through Facebook search she's 23 yrs old (graduated HS in 2008....good grief). Met in real world (not online). Just met her out last weekend, seemed like a cool chick. Works hotel beverage and food service so her work hours are ridiculous, and will be tough to set any good time up to get together. Just a few general/flirty texts here and there so far, so who knows. Note: she has a crazy head of hair.....I thought Troy Polomalu was sitting at the bar when I first walked in. But it works on her exotic look.
A few other randoms from OKC that have had some conversations with about getting together and what not, but nothing I'm pushing as I don't have the time, energy or desire to add more to the mix. Just keeping them on the hook for future possibilities.
Life is good, but this stuff can be exhausting. This past week I didn't meet up with anybody or do much communication with any of them, just needed to recoup. Back at it tonight, I guess.

It was a good time. And it did move. She's out of town this week on vacation with her family. Will likely see her again next week.
No dates lined up this week yet. I'm heading to Vegas later this week anyway so I don't really care. Have started down the path with a hot chick that lives about 45 minutes away. I'm pretty sure she is hot enough for the drive if it gets that far. I don't see it happening before Wednesday anyway so it will have to be next week.

Sets a very bad precedent, and really lowers your value. Try to convince her that the area you live is more fun and you're worth making the trip for...if that doesn't work than at worst find a place to both drive and meet halfway somewhere.
If you make that drive to her now, she'll just expect you to always do it. Also, if she's as hot as you say she is she's used to getting her way. You pushing back a little bit will make you stand out and more of a "mysterious challenge" that she's not used to. Your life is busy and exciting and you have a lot of other hot tail options than to be driving 1.5 hrs (round trip) to spend a few hours with some chick you don't even know. (even if this isn't true, make it seem like the case)

Geez! How much experience do some of you have with the opposite sex? While the size of your package does carry some weight it isn't the most important thing. You have to pay attention to the reaction of women. And not all black men are well endowed. The thing about about black women, in my experience, is that some are only into white guys. The ones who have typically only been with blacks guys many times have never had someone go down on them. Might have to dip back into the pool. Met a great chick but she's frustratingly inconsiderate at times, especially with getting back to me about tentative plans. Got a bit snippy the other day, told her to get back to me when she's figured things out on her end. Don't expect to hear back. Would be great if she did, sure, but not going to hold out hope. She's a good match on paper, but she may be a bit too self-centered right now to mesh right in the real world.

Also on the way up to my place at end of the night, waiting for the elevator, and out comes 4 drunk frat boys (all white). One says "woah, dude is that your girlfriend?, if so, nice work!". I said "not my girlfriend, but am going to go have secks with her right now". He just stood there with a dumbfounded drunk look on his face while the elevator doors closed.

There's an Android version, but, it requires a Facebook account. I don't see the benefit of signing up for Facebook just for this. Pretty sure the best advice I ever got was "no single guy needs to be on Facebook."

Worst part of dating by far (other than rejection) is waking up in a strange place, hungover, and those waves of regret/disgust wash over you, and you have to politely negotiate your way out. I don't miss that at all. One morning I woke up to the smell of coffee, bacon and eggs. I walk out to the kitchen and the Asian girl I hooked up with the night before standing there in the kitchen, just beaming at me like I'm her boyfriend. I'm too nice of a guy so I actually ate it while she stood there ready to attend to any need I might have. She was showing me her gun (OMG) and I realized at that very moment, that just because I date women, I am not immune from putting myself in dangerous situations. At that moment, I thought either I drive home drunk on icy roads and die or take the chance of dying by gun! (FYI I never felt threatened at all nor was the incident anything more than just showing me it). I woke up the next morning at 6 AM, went to the bathroom and almost threw up - there was dog hair (that I originally thought was pubic hair) all along the baseboard and behind the toilet. What kind of woman lives like that??? Filthy. Update on the offdee latest. I'm basically going through a reset period at the moment.
- 27 yr old (o-scale: 7.5): Got this text after not really communicating at all for about a week and a half and me sending out a "we should get together soon" text...aka "we should get together for some fun tonight". "To be honest, I kind of feel like this isn't going anwhere. It's turned into a situation where you text me once a week to come over and have sex...which is not totally your fault bc I haven't been putting in the effot either. In any case, I feel like we would both be trying harder if this was legit, you know?" Aaaand, she's out.
- Garage Girl (o-scale: 8): We've been trying to find a time to meet up over the past few weeks and nothing ever seemed to work out....read, neither of us was putting in that much effort to make a date work really. Finally this past Saturday night we were at the same street festival and we found out where each other was at to meet up. Hung out for about 30 minutes until I realized I just wasn't feeling her at all anymore. One of my comments during our conversation was literally something like neither of us is making much effort here, think we lost that initial spark, blah, blah, blah and she agreed. Was with a buddy so used him as an excuse of needing to go somewhere else to meet others. She's outta here.
- Black Girl (o-scale: 8): Got together for a 2nd night of fun about a week or so ago. Very hot and fun in the bedroom, but there's just something missing...she's a little ditzy which was starting to annoy me, and the next morning I couldn't wait until she left. I made up some excuse that I had to go into work on a Sunday. She texted me this past Saturday "Hey, how's ur weekend going? We should get together soon." I replied with a generic excuse of how busy I was with family stuff (lie) and her response "Cool. Well hit me up next week if you become free." That's the last of our communication and I haven't really had any urge to write again or get back together. She's most likely out of the rotation, but a possible future fill in if a convenient time comes about.
- Puerto Rican (o-scale: 8): Had plans to meet up with her for drinks for our "first date" about two weeks ago. Planned to meet at 7:30 and at 6pm my phone rings with a call from her...was in the middle of a workout so didn't answer, and no voicemail was left. 6:30 got this text "Hay Brian, hate to start things off this way but I'm just leaving work now and haven't made it home yet. I have some things I need to do before hosting my couch surfer friend this weekend and haven't had a moment to slow down. I'm not standing you up, just hoping to reschedule?? Pretty please? (with a kissy face smiley at end). I was pretty annoyed as I could've made other plans for my Friday night so just replied with "No worries" and wrote her off. No big deal. Exactly one week later, get a text from her "What's your next week looking like?" We now have temporary plans to meet up this Friday night. We'll see what happens. Again, she's 23 and I'm 37 so part of me doesn't even want to bother dealing with that, but whatever, could be a good story.
New Addition:
- New Chicago girl (o-scale: 8.5): 36 yrs old. Met on OKC. We've been texting a bunch over the past week...she actually is a really cool chick, and of all the ones I've talked to recently she has me the most intrigued. Fits a lot of the criteria I'm looking for....and is a workout fiend so her body is TIGHT. She's taking the train to visit on August 10th, and basically plans on spending the night. Texting has been extremely flirty and by the time that day rolls around the sexual tension will be through the roof. One quick exchange was our plan on first meet. I wrote "Here's what we're going to do. I'll be waiting at the train station drop off area. We're not allowed to say any words to each other until after the kiss. Not even hello, smiles only". She was all about it.

I don't trust offdee's ratings of all his ladies. I've seen him be hyper critical of models, and then everyone he dates is an 8 or better on his scale. Seems unlikely he is juggling super models with the Swedish bikini team IMO.

I'm hitting the e-mail stage with four eH chicks simultaneously now which could end up being a little bit of a juggling act. I thought I had eliminated one of them last week when she had e-mailed me her phone number. A couple days went by where neither of us could connect because of work, family, etc. On Thursday, I was out drinking with some buddies and started the fun, drunk texts... nothing bad. I got back home at midnight and somehow managed to actually call her. She did not pick up (fortunately), but I am not sure whether I left a message or not... The drunk dial BEFORE you ever have talked/met with a chick is NOT a good first move.
Anyways, she still wanted to talk after all of that and asked me out Sunday afternoon for coffee (she lives about an hour away and was in the area). I'm not sure what that says about her judgment. The coffee date was alright. She seems nice and might be fun, although the distance is a bit of a killer.

Fair enough, don't need to try and defend too hard. You either believe or you don't, and I get that.
Chicago v1.0 was a 7.0 (noted in my quoted post above) and 27 yr. old was a 7.5. A 7 is simply cute and that's where I personally draw the line....I'd rather just be by myself or get a good night sleep than hang with less than "cute".
8 is "one of the hotter girls in a given area" (not THE hottest girl)....I feel comfortable with rating the others at that level. Anything above an 8 is starting to get into smoking hot knockout stage which is pretty rare. Only one I gave that to is new Chicago girl (8.5), and all I'm going on here is about 7 pictures so things could definitely change once I see her in person (actually, it's probably likely if I'm being honest with myself). I can also admit that my rating on her is probably inflated a little bit because she's the newest and coolest so I'm at that stage where the sky is a little bit brighter than reality.
My ex, who I posted pics on here in the past, I think can be defended as a solid 8, so it's not like I'm just swimming in unknown seas here.
Anyways, not really trying to boast, just sharing some adventures. If I bang a hog some drunken night I'll share that as well....just hoping I never have to.

I can't tell her body shape at all from that pic, because of that jacket and the angle. No idea what she has up top, if she has a good waist to hip ratio, etc. She could be an 8. She could also be a 6.5. Can't tell without more information imo.
