The Powerball jackpot rose today to $600 million, making it the second largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

The drawing is scheduled for Saturday.

The largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history was $656 million in the Mega Millions game in March 2012. Three winning tickets were sold in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland.

In November, winners in Arizona and Missouri shared the second largest lottery jackpot -- $587.6 million.

We are something like 0-50 so far. Since anti jinxing it, isn't working, lets explore what happens when we win.

What would be the breakdown per person?

How would taxes work?

Do we have to fly to the state Keerock is in?

Are we meeting in Vegas, or do we give bank account info to receive the money?

How would taxes work?

Do we have the option to remain anonymous? or do we want to be known?

Let's have some fun on Friday and dream up our step by step process.

I'm not 100% sure on the details, but I think we form a "FFA Lotto Club, LLC" that we are all equal owners in.

Are there two different "groups" buying tickets from this thread...the regulars and the side pot?

Trying to decide how I'll kill myself if the other group wins.

2 Groups:

1) 10 tickets purchased with the $20 winnings from Wednesday's drawing for those that were in that pool

2) The rest of the tickets purshased with the $$ collected since then.

I have already purchased the 10 from #1 and will specifically identify that lot when I post them.

ETA: You are in both groups. Drop the noose.

count me in if it's not too late. can you please count me in for all future PB and extra purchases until I recant? I'll pay for whatever my share is as I go but I am bad about checking this thread. thanks!

 
Here is the first set of 10 tickets that were bought with winnings from last PB. If a number on this ticket hits, only those in Wednesday's pot will share...

 
I'm using my executive judgement and entering [icon] and ditka into tonight's side pool using money they had pre-paid for future periods. They have authorized this in the past...

That leaves eoMMan, who has no $ left to do this with...

Apart from financial gain, I kinda want to win just to watch everyone try to explain what type of lottery club this is.
