GB Prof. Thom's

This ain't so bad, sitting on a couch watching the game and whenever my buddy next to me gets up to get a beer / take a piss some Red Sox hottie fan sits down next to me to rest her gorgeous legs. I feel like the guy in those Kleenex commercials sitting on a couch in the middle of the street.

I bet you're just sitting there wishing you could teach their boyfriends a little something, aren't you?

BS Bartlett
very lame. reminds me of arod trying to cheat, with his girly swat at the ball running down the line.
Really? I've seen tons of players lean into a pitch, I've only seen one slap the ball out of a players glove running to first base.
bush league is bush league. arod's was over the top out of this world bs. bartlett was minor in comparison but when you act like a punk it looks bad.

I taught your mom a thing or two last night, she enjoyed it IMMENSELY.

The Red Sox have momentum, Beckett will be on a short lease and hopefully Farrell is working on his mechanics (assuming it is not his oblique that is causing his change in pitching) to get his FB back into the 94-95 range instead of the 92-93 range. If they are lying about his injury then hopefully they have a strong plan B and change up his pitch selection so that he does not continue to throw just meatball heat.

Red Sox win 5-2
Dude...seriously?He's injured. Come on....

And the problem with his heater isn't 3 mph....it's because it has zero movement and he's having trouble hitting his spots.

Dude. The problem wasn't 2mph on a fastball. That's idiotic. The problem was the injury which is causing the loss in speed (and the resultant loss in control and straight ### fastball..the real reason he could be hit so easily). He's found a way to pitch around/thru the oblique injury... be it motion, injections, whatever. I'm damn happy as well but let's not pretend that because he got 2mph back that he's now blowing folks away. :lmao:

Dude. You questioned if his oblique what was causing the issues... that's like "questioning" if the earth spinning is what's causing day and night. You then made the assertion that the 2mph drop in velocity was causing the problems. It wasn't. The Rays are a good fastball hitting team... 94...97..makes no difference if there is no life to the ball and you can't locate it. The problem wasn't 2mph on a fastball. That's idiotic. You're crossing into creepy old man territory when you start getting this excited over the simple fact that women are sitting next to you. Just trying to help, GB

I'm sorry did he actually hit 94 last night? Seriously. I am not even sure I saw 92 but wouldn't be surprised if he did. You have to admit the difference between 91 and 97 IS significant. It's the difference between foul and homer in most cases.

Oh c'mon! I think you are still bitter for picking the Rays. Btw putting GB in a post does not lessen the sting.

Why would I be bitter? Do you think I give a #### about the $100 I've got on the Rays to win the series? Do you not think I'd burn 5x that to see the Sox advance tonight? Before the series I made an unbiased assessment of the two teams. The Rays were dialed in and playing much better than the Sox. The Sox were beat up and Beckett looked horrid. In the last 1.2 games They have gotten in a nice groove, Beckett was able to get past the injury and deliver a decent 5 innings (2 runs in 5 innings would be considered a flop by beckett in any other circumstances)...and the Rays have shown cracks in the facade. This is GREAT ####### news as far as I'm concerned.

The fact that I've been realistic about Boston's chances in this series doesn't mean I've not been rooting my ### off over here.
