Thought the Gears 5 beta was very underwhelming, but I'll be around.

Truth. Hot trash. They are taking out much of the character of gears and trying to make it feel like a cod game. Its the same thing that has pulled me away from battlefield.

Love the gamepass. Huge value for minimal cost especially if you take advantage of their promotions.

servers are up for me....playing social

Servers down. Couldn't even play single player because of it. I sat on the Act 1 loading screen for about 20+ mins before my Xbox shut off for overheating. Tried again after the reboot. All in all I waited over an hour on the load screen. Wasn't happening. 

Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Played some multiplayer earlier and campaign all tonight. I mean it's the same old gears. Campaign is pretty interesting so far though.

Yea had my first rage quit match the other night. Same old gears lag compensation. You shoot a guy point blank only to watch yourself explode. Then they've added the kill can now that adds insult to injury as you see the replay of you shooting air while the guy bodies you. Again, you think you see a guy dead to rights in the match but he's not really there. He's 1+2 seconds behind that spot you see him at.

ah man, that's just quitting. Rage quitting is throwing your headphones and breaking them and having to send your wife to Target at 10pm on the bus to buy you a new pair... I miss the original gears shtick.

Don't get me wrong. This is just gears being gears. Nothing's changed about the lag compensation since Gears 3.
