He self-voted, proxied to you overnight. He's going out of his way to say "whatever helps the village." Hodor is adamant about not being lynched.

Either could be a BG trying to influence endgame. I can't find anything definitive to point me one way or the other (though in fairness, the board makes it tricky and the lack of time I have to dedicate to it trickier still) so I don't have much left to go with other than instinct.

Agreed - the thing that's sticking with me is just how helpful Dan is trying to be.

 
IIRC the Hags lunch was April 10th when I had a RL vacation day out with the kids and didn't have much time to participate

Was doing some ninja check in when I could

I'll admit my play is a bit erratic but I haven't played in years and never at FBG which has a much more complex ruleset

So you can either look at that or the pro who played an under the radar vanilla game and is just going with "I'm a GG" as his defense

He was quick to jump on me after my self vote and that's telling IMO

also don't forget he was on Norms list and he hit at what...90%?

Finally...if Hodor is such a renowned BG Hunter why did he last so long?

 
I think I'm leaving my vote where it is. If it is Dan, then at least we still have a coin flip chance of winning. It'll be interesting - if Hodor is a GG, Dan can literally go into OBGS before the game is even over. Nothing will matter except his game of rochambeau with Witz during night phase.

I don't have the advantage of knowing how often an "obvious" gg turned out be bad and tricked everyone all the way to the end. That's why I've sincerely asked if it's plausible and if so, would Hodor be a guy who could pull it off?

I think that's where I am as well - there were 17 people left at the point when Hodor made the comment above and nailed the remaining BGs. Either that was an awesome statement or a BG flaunting it in our faces. Actually at the point that post was made, with 17 folks left, 4 were BGs, 1 Indy and 1 Neutral leaning BG (Bell). At that point in time, BGs were sitting pretty. During N5 though, a BG, the Indy and Neutral leaning BG were killed to bring us to 14.

I don't have one thing to point to, I really don't. I just feel it more than I do with Dan. I could be wrong. I hope not, but if I am, then it's in Witz's hands.

It's typically good form to let the mod declare the game over. The final writeup/reveal is one of the fun things about modding. If I was hodor and I was a BG, I wouldn't do that to Bob.

If you're the BG, you can go into OBGS because the game isn't over yet. The final reveal would be the night report when we learned if you were whammed or not. Either one of Witz and me would be dead and it would be game over, or we'd be at the world's easiest Kendall tomorrow AM.

 
Oh, and McGarnicle, if you're reading this from the green room, sorry about lynching you yesterday. I honestly never saw Dan's vote and was just trying to feel you out and see how you'd react to having two votes on you. It's my fault you didn't make it to endgame, but you were close enough. I've never seen a first timer go that long in a game. You're going to be a WW legend someday.
