Pardon the interruption from a newcomer.I've been looking for a good general Ticket message board. This looks like one of the more responsible, literate ones. Any others I should know about? Many thanks. The Plainsman
Good question. I'm not sure if there is one or not. I know there's bobanddan.net? I don't really frequent any.

bobanddan.net is horrible. Just a bunch of guys trying to one-line eachother. Oh, and apparently you can't bash donovan over there. If you want a swift ban give it a shot.

Sounds like you speak from experience.

Today's Hardline open included the Greggo drop "I need a bag of cocaine" followed by the crossbow explosion.

Foreshadowing?

With all the latest goings on there is wheresgreggo.com.

That last article we read basically assured that we'd see the Husky Hugger back before the end of the month.

I haven't tuned in for a few days - is he back? Any new info? I'll be at the dial today at 3:00.

So Thursday morning is the white elephant wife swap get down

I wonder if Greggo will be involved in that

I guess it will depend if he makes it back on the air

I will be by the channel @ 2:50 today

Mike said that they're going to address the future of the show once arrangements are a little more concrete. He said they're going to discuss the direction of the show and not concentrate on the past. I seriously don't think Greggo's coming back. I just sense too much negativity in their tone when discussing and referencing him.

I got the same feeling listening to Mike as well. I am all for the jettison of the reigning metrosexual and "let's move on to something that has some importance, if in fact there is any". :bobbyknight: However I have a nervous suspicion that it means Greggy comes back for good, emits a feeble and brief apology the first day, and then they all agree to put the past behind them and never speak of it again. I hope they're not that cheap.

I think you just blew my mind.

:excited: Should I be proud or ashamed?

You know everytime they do the karyoke contest for tickets it is sort of similar to when a team gets in opposing territory and has 4th and 4 or so and punts anyways. You think "hey maybe they pin them deep" or "maybe a sweet diving play on the ball", but no some dufus knocks the thing thru the endzone and you wonder why you didn't get up to take a piss 40 seconds earlier.

 Why do they let Gordo run these thingsAll he does is sabotage and abuse the guys signing

An overlooked line during the white elephant setup segment

While Gordo was complaining about his spot (3-7 tickers) Cat said that the results were audited by toilet & #####

A slight dad giggle that you might have missed

The White Elephant thing is all about the tickers from 10-7pm. Should be either a :goodposting: or :goodposting:

Hammering Out a Deal

The Hardline's Mike Rhyner and Greg WilliamsLawyers. That’s the latest update on the continuing saga of host Greg Williams and KTCK-AM (1310, The Ticket). The wind has drastically changed directions since I wrote in my November 22 column that “The Hammer” would be back on the air at The Ticket.

At the time, Williams was determined to exorcise his drug demons and re-claim his spot on the afternoon show "The Hardline." And, at the time, station management was receptive -- or, at least, legally obligated to accept his return. Now? Don’t count on it.

After Thanksgiving, there was a volatile face-to-face meeting between Williams and co-workers. And, recently, Williams and station management have down-shifted from not being able to say too much to not being able to say anything at all. Which means only one thing: lawyers.

My theory is that the involved parties are negotiating a departure rather than a return -- and that this could drag out for weeks, likely into the new year. Co-host Mike Rhyner most recently addressed the situation on-air on November 26 when he hinted at the show’s future being dramatically altered from its past. “Now that it's out there,” Mike said, “we can talk about it. But we have to wait until we have a definitive resolution on this thing. When we do address it, we'll focus more on what's in front of us rather than what's gone on with this show in the past.”

This morning we received another subtle, yet seemingly definitive clue about Hammer’s life-support status when he wasn’t included in The Ticket’s annual “White Elephant” cross-dressing of hosts and shifts, set for next Wednesday. Afterward, morning hosts George Dunham and Craig Miller teased us with the promise of a phone call from a long-time Ticket voice upset at his exclusion. Hammer? Fake Greggo? Nope, just this guy. --Richie Whitt

afternoon drive ticker - Gordomidday tickers - Junior

morning tickers - Sean Bass

morning show - Bob, Norm, Rich as yuck Monkey, Danny producing

Can anyone say sports overtalking?

noon to 3 - Donny Doo, Jub-Jub, Ty Walker yuck monkey, Friedo producing

could be good if they talk a bunch of nothing issues, but anything sportswise will be zzzz

3-7 - Dan, Corby, Tom producing

with gordo on tickers, who really is biggest smartace on the ticket?

10 to noon - Rhynes, Fernando producing

so 2 hours of "what's on Mike's mind." I wonder if they go through the whole colletion of intro songs.

no afternoon drive yuck monkey (Greggo's would-be spot)

Do corby, Dan and Gordo need a yuck monkey?
My thoughts in blue.

noon to 3 - Donny Doo, Jub-Jub, Ty Walker yuck monkey, Friedo producing (this should be good for something....I just can't figure out what)

3-7 - Dan, Corby, Tom producing (should be a hit with those who don't like sports when they listen to sports talk radio)

10 to noon - Rhynes, Fernando producing (this is going to be terrrrrrrible)

no afternoon drive yuck monkey (Greggo's would-be spot)
