Never really paid any attention to this band because I thought the name was dumb and I assumed it was some kind of Swedish grindcore.
A few weeks ago, a song from Brant Bjork popped up in my Discover Weekly or Daily Mix and I dug it, so I looked the guy up and see that he was in Kyuss. So I figured I'd check out some of their tracks and I really like them as well. Then I see the name Josh Homme and he is one of the founders of Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal and, more importantly, Them Crooked Vultures*, and I'm always looking for other bands with a similar sound to them.
Anyway, thank you, Spotify for this wonderful revelation that absolutely no one else cares about, I'm sure.
*I don't think that I ever realized that John Paul Jones was the bassist in Them Crooked Vultures.
