I’m pretty happy with my overall strategy of trying to pick stage winners and lower tier podium contenders instead of Vingegaard. Probably would not have won without the shortened stages, but I’ll take it.

La Vuelta a España Stage 21

Race/stage is cancelled.

The stage was neutralised and later cancelled for security reasons (protests on the race course) moments before the peloton entered the final circuit in Madrid.

Cheesey finishes very strong to finish 2nd.

Just like last year - steady wins the race. I was actually way ahead and if I had finished 6th in the Vuelta rather than way, way last I would have taken the overall by a fair margin. That said, I'm glad I get to send the prize to someone! I'll let you know when it's ready.
