Good show last night. Couple of things...

How come when Hurley was going to have the picanick with Libby, it was daylight. When Sawyer, Jack, and Freckles returned to the hatch it was night. And when Freckles told Hurley about Libby, it was day again.

Hurley knew she was going to the hatch, are we supposed to believe he waited 12+ hours before going to look for her?

Well, considering last night's episode, I think it's relevant.....look inside the logo.

I'm sure this has been brought up but I saw it on another board for the first time. Doesn't that look like a swan inside the logo? Is it possible that the plane is at that particular spot on the island because of the swan hatch?

Based on Eko and Locke having to move the plane and dig up the doors, it seems to me that no one was down there just a couple hours before watching the shooting.I think the camera in the Pearl hatch leads me to believe that even that hatch was part of the experiment and the folks actually running the experiments are in a whole other location, maybe even off the island. Maybe the cable that Sayid found is the transmission of all of the camera feeds to an off-island headquarters.

The fact the the plane might have crashed in a predetermined location (actually two...and one of which had a useless hatch...) is interesting.

While I did miss that, until we find out why the plane crashed (if it did) I'll still keep this as an option....

Did anyone notice that at the end of the orientation film, the guys says something like "After your three weeks are up, go to such and such place and catch the ferry..." It kind of got slurred by the aging of the film / tape.

Also, did the original Orientation video we saw have a copyright date on it. I'm assuming it was later. (If I remember, the gut looked older in the "First" film).

I think it was only a circle - he tasted the dirt and it tasted like salt - he said the circle was manmade so that it could be seen from the sky (think supply drop) at least that is how I interpreted it.

Basically, each family is paid $10,000,000 and the entire show is caught on film... taping in the hatch, etc. The others are thrown in there to mix things up and keep the audience captivated. Hard to say with the kids being involved and death all around, but it could be an extreme reality show. You never know and this would explain a lot and it wouldn't be a supernatural explanation either.

It was not a question mark. It was a circle made by salting the earth. The circle marked the spot so they aircraft could see it.
