20 yard run by Grant and then Jackson has been in every play since.
Guarantee you he either tweaked his hammy....or he was gased from that run. I am betting on the first....let's se if I am right.Remember he missed all of camp and the pre-season with a bad hammy....that may = problems right now and beyond. That can linger if you don;t get it right.

Tavaris Jackson reminds me of Kordell Stewart. Except Kordell was 100x better runner AND passer.
:goodposting: I was holding out hope, but Tarvaris Jackson is not an NFL QB. It's as plain as day. What a shame that this front office would put together a team like this and yet hook its wagon to a 1AA project at the most important position. Pure unbridaled ego at play here.

freebagel ---dude looking at your dynasty league i would like to know who you play with? the rest of the league must have turds
Heh, well it didn't happen overnight. Many years and a lot of luck went with it (including trading for 1st round picks in the middle of the year that ended up being 1st overall two years in a row).

ADP is going to need therapy this year to learn how to handle being an elite back with an average D1 QB leading his team. Rumor is they've enlisted Barry Sanders to help him cope.

That's what I am nervous about...

Sure... if grant is out for the season...

Grant is NOT in the game still...

this could be bad news

spculation is that this is a 2 min drill and Jackson has been in for all passing downs so far today... hoping at least...

Horrible spot.
actually, it just looked to me like the ref just wasn't fooled by ADP moving the ball ahead 2 feet after he was already down.
Well, obviously I wasn't saying that's where the spot should go, but the ball was placed a good foot behind where he went down with it before he moved it forward. Though the announcers are now saying it was right on so I guess I saw it wrong.

We're 28 min in to Week 1 vs. a pretty good defensive team..Im still holding out for TJ to be something more than an athlete but like you am questioning how a team that can win now didn't try and go out to get another QB.. besides Favre.

They don't even need a guy like Favre to win them games with that D and running game. They simply need a game manager who can hit open guys.

Wow, what a botched last 20 seconds. Guaranteed way to kill a drive at the end of the half.....dump it to Brandon Jackson twice in a row.

Who is the O-Coordinator for the Vikings? He sucks; run - heave it deep, run - heave it deep, real creative guy. Either they have no confidence in the ability of Jackson to read a defense or they spent about 2 seconds drawing up a game plan.

Not looking good for Grant owners
They have been in a two minute drill since he went out. He might be OK.
They said he wouldn't get a full load - From Rotoworld:
Ryan Grant-RB- Packers Sep. 8 - 4:50 pm et ESPN's Wendy Nix reports that Ryan Grant will "split time" in the Packers' backfield on Monday night against Minnesota.Grant claims he's "100%," but coach Mike McCarthy says Grant has experienced lingering soreness and his reps will be "monitored closely." In a matchup against the NFC's top run defense, Grant could struggle for production on limited carries. It sounds like Brandon Jackson will see 10+ touches.
This disappearance isn't much of a shock. The length of it maybe. But he was going to lose a bunch of carries.

I hope you're right. We're 3 years in though and he still looks like it's his first live action.
