There's some talent here which is more than you can say about the Twins of the recent past.

Pitching is still a work in progress. They had a league average ERA+ in spite of giving a lot of starts to mediocre 4th and 5th starter types. Tyler Duffey had an impressive six weeks and Trevor May could be a semi-cromulent starter. The Twins really need Jose Berrios to be all that. Alex Meyer has peaked as a prospect and may be able to fashion some kind of career as a RP.

They have a lot of money tied up in bad contracts ($25M worth of Ricky Nolasco's decline anyone?) but they can get by if their young guys come through, Obviously 2016 is crucial for Buxton but I still believe.

I thought they had a great year. The record they finished with was way above what anyone expected from them. No it's not great like they won the world series great.

IMO you can have a great year with out winning it all.
