***OFFICIAL MNF: Denver at Seattle (+6) (43.5)*** Wilson and Pete Reunited (1 Viewer)

My Prediction:
- 17-0 Seattle at Halftime.
- Denver pulls Russ and goes with Rypien for 2nd half.
- Ryp slashes up the Seattle Defense and scores 24 straight.
- 24-17 Denver Final.

Let's Go! Who you got?

That’s not an official game thread title.

The degenerates need the spread and O/U total.

I’m on a sweat so unlike most viewers I’m hoping for a run heavy, slow paced punt fest. Should be a lot of interested Wilson/Javonte/Jeudy/Sutton owners who would like to pummel me.

Revenge game and Pete doesn’t have a lot of talent in defense. They were bottom 5 in a lot of passing defense stats last year.

Geno is widely viewed as a bottom feeder QB but he was like QB16 in the games he started when Russ was out in 2021. Not advocating for him but his ability to support DK & Lockett might not be as bad as we think. Hoping Penny gets to enjoy one healthy season in his career. He was on fire down the stretch last year.

Seahawks are bad. Like really bad. Like I put a decent amount of money on their first win coming week 17 against the Jets bad.

Geno improves because he has Lockett and Metcalf, but he's still Geno. Couple new guys on the O Line that look promising. Penny's gonna have to get 20 carries to stay in this thing. Like him to have 100 rushing/receiving yards at +200.

Defense is a problem. Safeties are good but the DBs are awful. I don't see them putting a ton of pressure on Wilson. They're going to have to hope that Jeudy drops those deep balls that Wilson loves to throw.

Bought a half point and took Denver -6.5

I have varying interests in this game. Hoping for a couple good Russ to Sutton plays and Lockett to not be worthless.

Expect Denver to handle Seattle but 12th man against Russ is interesting if nothing else.

Just want to watch an injury free football game if there is such a thing.

-I would like to see if Seattle is in full blown Tank mode or if they actually think they can win a few games with Geno or Lock under Center.

I don't think Denver is as good as some of the other AFC West teams but I also don't want to be biased and would like to just let the game unfold and not try and outguess it.

Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Houston were all Home Dogs by decent margins this weekend and they all beat the spread or won the game.
Then there's the Jets and Cardinals that were home dogs that got handled pretty easily. Because of the lack of QB play, I tend to put Seattle in the Jets bin of home dogs.

Final Score: Denver 23...Seattle 20 but for the life of me I can't comprehend Seattle putting up more than 10 points tonight. But the trend this weekend is take the home dog.Opening Week.

Hard to believe Geno Smith is a starting QB in 2022. On paper, Seahawks have no chance but in a Pete Carroll / Russell Wilson grudge match despite the lack of personnel, Carroll might know Wilson enough to goad him into a mistake that determines the game.

Seriously though, that crowd noise has to be a son of a *****. You KNOW they're gonna be loud af to mess with Russell.

This is what a game script where the Seahawks win looks like. Crazy. Love football.

I honestly haven't read most of the drama around Russ and the Hawks... but wasn't it the Seahawks who wanted to move on? Or at least it was a mutual thing?
