DeAngelo gets 20+ touches with no Foster.

100 yards rushing and a score.

I'm hoping for more Keyshawn as I need him. I'd really like for him to get the golf cart and run over Steve Smith and John Kasay and also learn to kick field goals, but I'd take 8-110-1 TD, preferably 2.

Eagles don't fare well and give up 100 yards rushing to a single back for the 5th week in a row.

Carolina 34-20. Westbrook and LJ Smith score. Garcia is meh.

I think that it will stay close and both teams will focus on the run.. Westbrook and DWill both get over a hundred and a score.

Eagles win 28 to 24

Is there a team that has a more "vanilla" playcalling then Carolina? seriously, run on 1st down (2 yards), run on 2nd down (1 yard), incomplete pass on 3rd down, punt.

Repeat all game long. :loco:

Garcia will be the difference - and not in a good way.
Ordinarily I would agree, but its Monday night and Rocky is in the house. Eagles start slow and warm up to win behind Garcia and Westbrook. Nothing out of Reggie Brown as I am facing him in my local league.

In the past 24-36 I have witnessed ZERO car crashes...

BUT, if you include the Volkswagen commercials that are played at every NFL commercial break, I have actually witnessed 271 car crashes.

Holy...

Obviously you forget the first ever game for the Eagles in the Linc. Balboa opened the stadium at home vs. Tampa Bay after they beat Philly the year before in the NFC Championship (and later the Super Bowl). It wasn't pretty IIRC. (Yes 17-0 shutout in 2003 opening night).

That was a younger Rocky. This version is like the current Eagles and nobody believes. Who is going to watch that movie? Huge flop upcoming, but the Rocky and Garcia magic is real. Believe.

I really hope you're not going to be operating any heavy machinery any time soon.

I'm still at work, so i'm relying on NFL.COM for updates....I see that Garcia has targeted Stallworth 3 times on deep passes, all incomplete. Were they just good coverage, bad throws or what?

I'm a Stallworth owner, and like the fact that at least he is getting the targets...

One forced throw he was lucky wasn't picked and two BAD, bad throws.

Sly is the man. He sounds just like Rocky in real life. :lmao:

ETA: This game sucks

Good coverage and mostly bad throws. the first could have been caught but the other two were not close.

The first was nearly a pick IIRC.Garcia is as erratic as a drunken blind man making more room for his next BEvERage. :banned:Three of his throws were closer to the Spectrum than Stallworth.

Per Wikipedia :

A bronze statue of Rocky, called "ROCKY", was commissioned by Sylvester Stallone and created by A. Thomas Schomberg[4] in 1983. Three statues were created and one was placed on the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the filming of Rocky III.

After filming was complete, a furious debate erupted in Philadelphia between the Art Museum and the City's Art Commission over the meaning of "art." Claiming the statue was not "art" but rather a "movie prop" the city considered various alternate locations and settled upon the front of the Wachovia Spectrum in South Philadelphia.

It was later returned to the Art Museum where it was used in the filming of Rocky V, as well as Mannequin and Philadelphia. Afterward it was again moved to the front of the Spectrum. The statue was replaced with a simple set of footprints reading "Rocky." The Rocky statue is now back at the Art Museum. This time it has been placed on a pedestal in a grassy area off to the right of the Museum. The statue was returned to the foot of the steps on September 8, 2006, with an unveiling ceremony that included live music and a free showing of the first Rocky movie.
People didn't even want the freakin' statue
