I guess we'll have an early favorite for the "NL Team of the Aught-Teens" Crown. (Does 2010 count?).

Anyway, I'm sure the winner will sweep the AL team. The Yankees just struggled with former NL legends like Joe Saunders, Jason Hammel, and Nate McLouth.

Giants and Cards def know how to win, should be a good series even though I kinda wish they would all just catch hepatitis or something.

Again the big question for the Giants is the game 4 starter after Bumgarner, Vogelsong and Cain. Lincecum was lights out in the NLDS and Zito was Zito. But Zito probably isn't flexible enough to be anything other than a SP.

And he probably isn't good enough to be a SP in the playoffs. I'd roll with Lincecum and hope for the best. Either that or start Zito and hope he can make it once through the lineup before putting him on the tightest of leashes.

Zito's normal warmup routine includes an hour each of yoga, long toss and playing guitar.

Giants first-base coach Roberto Kelly got hit in the back of the head by a line drive off the bat of Buster Posey early in the workout. He was standing somewhere near second base. Kelly was able to walk off the field with some assistance. He then was taken on a stretcher to leave the ballpark and head to a hospital.UPDATEThe good news is Roberto Kelly has been released from the hospital. He did sustain a concussion. Giants trainer Dave Groeschner said he expects Kelly to be on the field Sunday as long as doctors clear him.

Those South Caldwell chicks aren't impressive enough for that.Those country boys out there could play some ball though. They used to light up Hager pretty good.

You have to start Bumgarner sometime and he's better at home. His only other options were Cain on short rest or Lincecum whose role seems defined for the post-season.
