Dang, that win on Friday was HUGE. As a Cardinal fan I have never felt more uncomfortable up 3-2. It's like we didn't know what to do being ahead in a series. Lynn jsut isn't a starting pitcher - serviceable for a short time but much more effective out of the pen. Better figure out a way to solve Voglesong because I don't like the prospect of having to beat Cain.

That payoff pitch to Carpenter was a strike according to mlb.com gameday. Strikes out the side anyway.

Vogelsong looking good tying up Cards hitters with the inside fastball. It sets up that change-up (like the one he threw to Beltran) beautifully.
