I actually left at 9.  Assuming that's when you and Doolittle were just getting started.   Or at the very least, mid shift.   But come on, you can't deny how pathetic you must be spending 24/7 on a fantasy forum.  I dip in and out, while u never, ever, ever ....

I mean doesn't your family (if you have one) wonder why daddy/husband never gets off his fantasy message boards? Non stop all day long.  Haha.   I can only imagine the disgust on their collective faces. Lol. That also obviously applies to Doolittle and his dingleberry.  Can you guys even take a break for 1 day? How about 6 hrs?  How about 1 hour?

While its WAY early for any must win talk, kinda a big win tonight. Let's be honest, as Mets fans we always seem a 3-4 game losing streak away from the assumption of complete collapse:

Duda has a stress fracture in his lower back. He'll be out a minimum of 4-6 weeks. I'd guess longer. Some speculation that they'll try Conforto at first, gets Lagares in the lineup more at least.

I'd like to see this - hell, if Lagares can return to '14 form that could be a season long move.  If not, what about a rental for the rest of the year to get one more big bat in the lineup? Gotta be some options available and Lucas has been pretty terrible overall.

Matz came up huge today. Needed that. Only a half game out and the sky should no longer feel like it's falling. 

 
That's the thing with the four horsemen... When one of your preseason 1a's completely implodes and 1b struggles, the next two step up and seem as impressive as the former 1a&b were last year.  

Harvey is going to struggle for a while - he is just so far from what's needed.  But if deGrom gets back his form that's a good place to be.

Good tough win for a tough series. It's silly because of how early it is, but 2.5 games vs .5 is amplified with Harvey's issues, and that's definitely muted for now.

plan is to find the Margherita place in deeeeeep Center (almost by the pig/bacon on a stick guy) and get a couple marg rocks in the Mets plastic masony jar. :banned:   My research suggests that's the best alcohol for the buck at Citi, and they make each one by hand so can get less sweet than the other offerings. 

 
that is the most cowardly call by an umpire I've ever seen.  What a ####### look at me I'm more important than the game moment. Wish there were a repercussion for an overly sensitive selfish ump taking out one of the games best pitchers on this night.  

 
I have had enough with retaliation coming in a later season. In retrospect, the Mets should have done something last year. The best spot would have been in the blowout game in NY. Utley didn't play but somebody should have been plunked. 

Then we have 2000 when the Mets were too scared to do anything but yell from the dugout. Then, two years later, a new Mets pitcher was the guy in charge of getting some sort of revenge. He didn't do that right but at least he hit a home run off Rocket Man.

 
What has happened to Conforto these last few weeks? Brutal. I read a theory that claims the game he had against Bumgarner is what sparked this tailspin.

He's a second year player who has played basically a half season plus of MLB ball.  Can't be unexpected. With his skills and approach I could see a soph slump year but he should rebound sooner than later.
